at my school we didn't play that way but there was a scoreboard and I used to annihilate it every time I kicked and one time I made the things open up on it so it looked like I broke it xdd
the white area looks in close proximity to each kick so it would be easy to hit homers. When I played at a gym like this in second grade (same base layout) the only way to get a homer was to kick in into the hoop.
The goal is to NOT kick high cause then the outfielders will catch the ball and get an out. And plus its indoor and why would you wanna waste your power just to hit a wall.
