Drew, you *definitely* have to play through to the Premier Division so you can win it and get to the Cup Tournament. It's kinda like the Indoor Invitational, but longer and with International teams.

I LOVED this game. I loved the shootout part so much, i would intentionally shoot the ball into my own gaol so id get into a penalty shootout

I wasn't the biggest soccer fan as a kid but I loved the gameplay of this game even more than other backyard games in sports I usually prefer.

oh god, this game is old, the original 12 MLS teams, of with 4 folded The Dallas Burn, The Tampa Bay Mutiny, The Miami Fusion and the San Jose Earthquake. (The Current San Jose Earthquake where an Expansion team given the rights to the name.)
The Dallas Burn didn’t fold, they just rebranded to FC Dallas like the MetroStars when Red Bull bought them. But fun fact, FC Dallas’ away kit this year is an homage to their original Burn branding
They might have still been the San Jose Clash.
Dude pablo was that guy, I remember being 10 years old on a dusty 2008 dell computers running on fumes and we always picked Pablo. Some of my best childhood memories was playing that game on my grandmothers computer with him. Life was so much more simpler. I miss you bro. I hope your doing well ❤

Drew! You gotta start abusing the hidden mechanics! There's different combinations of kids you can pick that will give passive buffs to each other. For example, the Webber sisters gain bonuses to all stats when on the same team. If you listen to the kids, they'll sometimes tell you who they want to play with.

I got Backyard Hockey from a Schoolastic Book Fair myself.
Funny enough it's the only Humongous Entertainment game I ever played. There was another old-school PC kids' game company called Ohio Distinctive Software that my grandpa kept ordering from to entertain me. Had a great time with most of those too.

Backyard Football and Backyard Soccer were the two games I played the most.
I was Captain of the Football Team and El Capitain of the Futbol Team.
Same both were fun especially the 99/00 football series the AI had the same tesm wuth the pris abd were more challenging which I liked
cant wait for backyard hockey and skateboarding. both are super fun
