Catching Big Flathead in a Bass Comp! Hastings River. Flathead Fishing

Hunter and I entered East Coast Sport Fishing’s ‘Bass Season is Open’ competition. We don’t know much about Bass so it was lucky for us that there was a Flathead category thanks to the beer virus lockdowns. We cracked 3.3m for the top 5 fish, biggest going 74. HM, Crossfire, Slapstix and the secret white prawn lures all did the damage. All fish released.
