I don't have HIV, was watching videos about healthy diets and healthy life styles and found your HIV symptoms video today, watched some of your videos, you're very brave, great job in keeping a very positive mindset, I see you're such a beautiful person, keep up the good work
Hey Jennifer! I'm totally nrelated to that guy who self diagnosed himself with HIV and I completely did the same thing (I also agree that self diagnosis is NEVER the right thing). However, in a fit of paranoia, I stumbled across your channel and the confidence that you exude as a woman who is HIV positive not only mad emore relaxed but also made me realize that even if I was HIV positive, that I could live a normal life. I haven't tested yet, (which I should but I'm young and not sexually active) but seeing you gives me the courage to actually get tested and become more informed on the topic! Thank you!
I had gonorrhea symptoms about 3 weeks ago and I got treated and it was gone but i just really want to be able to talk to someone like you that has experience and cares about people
Great inspiration on this topic I've seen so far. Angel and such wisdom for absolutely everyone to learn so much. May your well being and success be plentiful. Thank you for always sharing so much of yourself in order to help other clueless people.
I've made it this far in your video's Jennifer. It's such an education for me. Ignorance has reduced massively, still more to go though. You are doing a huge amount of good here, please don't stop.
Hi Jen Thanks for the vids. I’ve had the most horrible experience the last 2.5 months (since my exposure). The exposure was high risk, it was a one night stand (with a woman) and she later disclosed to me that she had been raped before but denied having hiv. About 14 days after, I got a sore throat and started feeling really fatigued. At day 17, these symptoms didn’t go away and I went to the doctor. I also was experiencing a burning sensation on the tip of my privates. I took a duo lab blood test (p24 and antibody) and went on antibiotics. The test came back negative but the antibiotics did not clear the throat and cough. I had to return to the doctor and get another antibiotic and even that one hardly worked. All this time I had fatigue. Two weeks later I got intense nausea for two days. I also have small pea-sized lumps by where my glands are in my neck and groin. Anyways, I went back to the doctor and he insisted that it’s not related infections and even said it is highly unlikely I have hiv. Since then my symptoms have largely cleared except for the little swollen glands and coughing up a bit of yellow every morning. A month ago (1.5 months after exposure), I started dating someone and have been sexual active. Now she has come down with an intense fever and night sweats and she NEVER gets sick. I had largely stopped worrying about HIV, but I am currently in a semi panic as I cannot discount the correlation between all these symptoms, despite what the doctor and test said. Please help me, what attitude should I have? I will get tested at the 3 month mark again but I am panicking. I don’t think I can forgive myself if I have given my girlfriend the virus.
You're a straight male who had unprotected sex with a woman, that's not high risk. Having anal sex with a man or sharing needles for drugs is considered high risk. The chances of a woman having HIV are highly unlikely and the chances of you contracting it from her even if she was positive are highly unlikely. You're negative. Test again at 3 months so you can stop worrying so much, but in general what you described is not high risk at all.
I don't believe you ramble to much! Your soooo funny!!!😂😂😂. We all wanna hear what you have to say😄.This is my favorite channel by the way! You bring happiness and hope. You my friend are a blast! One of earths Angels😊 So Beautifully honest💐 The sun will shine again!🌞🌞🌞🌞
You did a great job on your story in pictures. I'm curious, every time I have my blood drawn to check the different levels such as iron, vitamin d, I found out today that my doctor checks for HIV. I'm not sure if they are suppose to check without your permission but my doctor does, so did I hear you or someone say that you have to give permission. Keep up the good work, loving all of your videos, your story and the fact that you advocating and spreading knowledge of HIV, it's scary but necessary.
They have to ask permission to check for HIV in the US, are you in another country? That day that I was so sick, he tested me for everything he could think of (meningitis, lupus, parasites) and the only test he asked permission for was HIV. He definitely asked.
Jennifer Vaughan I am in Illinois, my iron and vitamin d is always low, they check for Hep c as well, I know that I heard that they have to ask permission but the last few times and this time in January they did not ask. I knew that I was o.k because I am abstinent and have been for quite some time and I informed her, my doctor of this fact when I first began seeing her, that I am abstinent and tested previously and all was/is fine. She's never asked if she can take these tests but takes them all the time, I guess if one of them would have somehow come back positive, I'm wondering how that conversation would have gone. Each time I've ever gone to take the test I was terrified, I have always requested the test, I'm o.k with getting tested but I do wonder at this point how she would have informed me.

I was worried for weeks because I now developed other signs like nausea. After 75 days, I went to th hospital and tested. Blood drawn from my finger prick and I turned out negative. Surprisingly all the other signs dissapeared apart from feeling nauseted though not oftenly. 5 months down the line, I realized some small bumps that are not painful which came and dissapeared after 3 to 7 days. I just have one question though.. is full blown aids diagnosis temporary depending on how well you’re doing with your condition? Or is it what completely defines your condition no matter how much the treatment.. like do you say you have just HIV or that you have full blown AIDS.

Go take an hiv test, it's the only way you can find out. I don't have those rapid hiv tests in my country, we just have the blood tests here. So if you have access to the rapid tests you can try those or just go to a clinic and get tested. I know it's scary, believe me I know. I got tested 10 days ago, haven't gotten my results back yet, i'm stressed out and my anxiety level is through the roof. It's my first time getting tested, I'm scared but I took the 1st step and you can do it to. Just do it. You'd be surprise that you're probably negative because all the symptoms you have can be symptoms from just about anything. So don't diagnose yourself. You also have to understand that you can't get hiv if the person you had sex with doesn't have hiv and that person may not have it, risky behavior or not. Go get tested and put your mind at ease. I hope you're fine, good luck.
What the swollen lymph node look like? Does it protrude on your skin? Or you have to inspect it manually with your fingers and press a bit on your neck so you can feel it?

Vitamin D. Just wondering how meds affect vitamin levels.
