Oddly enough my cat's nose drips too when she's happy and purring. Nothing seriously wrong with her according to the vet. There is a surgery to fix it, but it's not worth it since it would risk her life and she's perfectly healthy. I just deal with having a happy snotty kitty. lol I choose to take it as a compliment that she loves me so much. 😅😊

I don't even have a golden retriever, but my house is always covered in hair from my lab x collie. It ALWAYS ends up in areas that she's never been, especially when she's shedding her winter coat. My Lab on the other hand doesn't seem to shed at all.

My sister dated a guy with an AKC golden. I'm a cat person, but that giant furball was the goofiest, sweetest thing I've ever met. He was a super shedding living window cling that also loved wall roobs, but not as much as he loved leg roobs. I'm a pretty small guy, I only stand 5' tall on a good day, and that beast of a dog would constantly knock me over for cuddles. Bless him.

At first it seems like a hassle then you get used to it and it doesn’t take that much more work. rivers from the water bowl, just keep a mop handy near their station. fur piling up? a handheld vacuum always nearby
I brush my golden girl twice a day. Once before work and once before bed. My house still gets covered. I have a half pantry shelf full of lint rollers. But she makes my life so much better, I wouldn’t give her up for anything. I even take an allergy pill every morning because I’m allergic to her. I come home from work and she’s standing at the door waiting for our afternoon walk, wagging her tail and giving me endless amounts of love. She’s 12 years old and I’m cherishing every single minute I have with her.
I have a poodle crossed with a golden retriever and he loved ripping stuff up when he was younger, he would rip up pillows on the couch when we were gone and look so proud of himself when we got back and saw the mess he made
I had a Golden when I was a teenager. He was a little bit bigger thanTucker. I didn't have the problem with hair all over the place though. I brushed him almost every day. It wasn't a big process. It was actually enjoyable, as he loved to have it done. When I would grab thr brush, he would happily follow me to where I would sit down, then he would back up close to me and sit down... eagerly waiting for the brushing. It must have felt so good to him to have him so cooperative. He was a blessing for sure!

I grew up with a golden retriever and I consider myself truly blessed to be. I was the oldest of 4 and we adored that dog. There were times in our lives where that dog was the only good thing we had. I can’t wait to own my house so that I can get my daughter a dog. Its so good for kids to learn responsibility, empathy, care, nurturing and respect and love of animals. She wants a kitten but I’m hoping by the time we’re ready to own an animal she changes her mind. She’s young now so once we own a home and are a tiny bit more financially stable and she’s a wee bit older we’ll make the right decision for us. But for anyone who owns or owned a golden, you were blessed with a lovable goofball that has no equal in this world.

My Golden Boy only roobed on me. He didn't slobber, we went through beginning, advanced and Service Dog training...he was my constant companion and helper and I'd go thorough it again in a heartbeat.

I had a golden growing up, and absolutely they’re worth it all. Also, we call that last one “sharing water” because they instantly come to cuddle with you after drinking a gallon.
I am dreading the day where I'm going to have to say goodbye to my little dog. I'm fully enjoying all the moments i can have with him, just to make sure all the memories make me smile when he has passed and i think of him. I hope you have good memories of yours. Stay strong ❤
When me and my friend were little she had a golden retriever who would carry both of us and just walks around then he got sick and passed away my friends family didn't tell both of us that the dog passed away we both thought they give it away then later on 5 years later my mom told me finally man the same day her dog passed away my cat did we face called each other in the middle of the night amd just cried untill we both fall asleep it was so wholesome

Our Golden boy is almost 13 and slowing down. I'm an old man now and will miss him terribly when he is gone. If I was younger and could still walk him like I used to, I would have another one in a heartbeat, but being unable to exercise him properly, it wouldn't be fair to him.

My sister dated a guy with an AKC golden. I'm a cat person, but that giant furball was the goofiest, sweetest thing I've ever met. He was a super shedding living window cling that also loved wall roobs, but not as much as he loved leg roobs. I'm a pretty small guy, I only stand 5' tall on a good day, and that beast of a dog would constantly knock me over for cuddles. Bless him.

I brush my golden girl twice a day. Once before work and once before bed. My house still gets covered. I have a half pantry shelf full of lint rollers. But she makes my life so much better, I wouldn’t give her up for anything. I even take an allergy pill every morning because I’m allergic to her.
I come home from work and she’s standing at the door waiting for our afternoon walk, wagging her tail and giving me endless amounts of love. She’s 12 years old and I’m cherishing every single minute I have with her.

I had a Golden when I was a teenager. He was a little bit bigger thanTucker. I didn't have the problem with hair all over the place though. I brushed him almost every day. It wasn't a big process. It was actually enjoyable, as he loved to have it done. When I would grab thr brush, he would happily follow me to where I would sit down, then he would back up close to me and sit down... eagerly waiting for the brushing. It must have felt so good to him to have him so cooperative. He was a blessing for sure!

OMG!! I can relate to the "flying fur" & the "tail dust-buster". I once caught some of my Golden's tail fur in my vacuum & she didn't even care. It's impossible to keep it from flying around EVERYWHERE!
I grew up with a golden retriever and I consider myself truly blessed to be. I was the oldest of 4 and we adored that dog. There were times in our lives where that dog was the only good thing we had. I can’t wait to own my house so that I can get my daughter a dog. Its so good for kids to learn responsibility, empathy, care, nurturing and respect and love of animals. She wants a kitten but I’m hoping by the time we’re ready to own an animal she changes her mind. She’s young now so once we own a home and are a tiny bit more financially stable and she’s a wee bit older we’ll make the right decision for us. But for anyone who owns or owned a golden, you were blessed with a lovable goofball that has no equal in this world.

My Golden Boy only roobed on me. He didn't slobber, we went through beginning, advanced and Service Dog training...he was my constant companion and helper and I'd go thorough it again in a heartbeat.

I had a golden growing up, and absolutely they’re worth it all. Also, we call that last one “sharing water” because they instantly come to cuddle with you after drinking a gallon.
It’s been 9 years and I still miss mine every day, every single day.
I am dreading the day where I'm going to have to say goodbye to my little dog. I'm fully enjoying all the moments i can have with him, just to make sure all the memories make me smile when he has passed and i think of him.

When me and my friend were little she had a golden retriever who would carry both of us and just walks around then he got sick and passed away my friends family didn't tell both of us that the dog passed away we both thought they give it away then later on 5 years later my mom told me finally man the same day her dog passed away my cat did we face called each other in the middle of the night amd just cried untill we both fall asleep it was so wholesome

Our Golden boy is almost 13 and slowing down. I'm an old man now and will miss him terribly when he is gone. If I was younger and could still walk him like I used to, I would have another one in a heartbeat, but being unable to exercise him properly, it wouldn't be fair to him.
