I know this is an old video but I am so glad it came up on my feed. I have read books and watched videos and they have not shown how to finish off the beads. I just created my first 2 weave bracelets. Love it much better than any stitch I've done so far. I had a very dear friend who wanted an indian style beaded necklace at that time I didn't know how to however I told her I would find out how. I learned a little too late she passed away on me a year ago and everytime I look at the next pattern I would like to try or draw up my own design I think of her and it brings a tear to my eyes, she was more like a sister I would have loved to have had. Debbie you are always with me especially when I'm weaving. Love You Lady. I feel you with me when I am running my thread to and fro. I know this video is old, but I actually finished my first bead loom piece today and I had no idea how to finish it! This video was so helpful and clear, thank you very much for posting it!
Thank you. This is a great alternative to the traditional tie off method. I might also add, it would be a good way to use up leftover beads on the very last rows on either side. That way you can save those beads, esp. if you prefer their colour to others, for another project, since they’ll be covered up and glued over anyhow.
Seen videos that shows how to start but never completing..Thank you so much and it so helpful..Do have a question can you use monofilament fishing line?
Thank you so much for your video, I tried it your way, my beads came loose for the first row, and the knots didn't stay, I don't understand what I am doing wrong, I have tried to reinforce the first row by going through them 2 to 3 times, still the same problem when I take them off the loom, any help would definitely be appreciated. I love all the videos and the products you make. Your my hero.
Hi Connie, sorry you're having trouble! What might be helpful is going back through the last two rows. The beads should be secured by the knots you will make with the warp threads. Also, a little dab of glue goes a long way.
This'll be extraordinarily useful. Though while slightly unfortunate, the spaces between my warp threads and my seed beads (I usually use Size 10s and 11s) are too small, so there's usually deformation near the beginning. However, this'll definitely make my loom pieces much cleaner, even if I just want to do small badges over bracelets
Hi there! Can any of you help me please? How can I finish this bracelet without a clasp? Is there any video teaching an alternative technique? Here in Brazil we kind of strugle with good quality clasps, I thought os finishing with macrame, but honestly I don't know how to even begin. Thank you for sharing so much on your YT channel.
Hi Isabela. The problem to solve will be how will you wear the bracelet without some kind of connector. Those long threads at the end could provide a solution if you can tie them to something or make a clasp of sorts from fabric and add that...you'll want to brainstorm a creative solution along those lines if a metal clasp is out of the question...
What thread specifically are you using? The problem I'm having is that when I tie the knots They are too big to get into the slider with the bead as well. If I use stronger thread. It's too big and if I use less strength thread, then the bracelet will fray and break would love to know how you would solve this problem. Thanks in advance.
We are using Nymo but Toho One-G is also another good option.beadaholique.com/search?type=product&q=nymo+thread and beadaholique.com/search?type=product&q=one-g I hope this helps
Greetings, some time back i did some detailed beaded bracelets, ordered the slider clasps and affixed them. I was very pleased with the results. Sadly after a very short time all the clasps rusted. i was immensely disappointed. Is there a set of clasps that will not rust???
Oh no! I am so sorry to hear this. I am not sure why they rusted for you, that should not have happened. I know you already went to a lot of effort with them, but if you bought them from us, you are welcome to reach out to our customer service team for some help. Their email is: service@beadaholique.com I have been using these clasps for years and have not had any rust on me.
Oh dear! I am sorry to hear that, they should not rust. If you bought them from us, please contact customer service at service@beadaholique.com. The only reason I can think of that rust could possibly happen is if they were exposed to a chemical such as perfume, chlorine, sunscreen, lotions - but even with most of those, with the exception of chlorine, I wouldn't expect them to rust after a short period. Please do reach out to customer service if you purchased them from us.

This looks so easy here the sliding of the clasp! It's been 30 minutes since I started trying to slide mine and I can't do it.
I'm sorry. Is it getting stuck on something? Please let me know and I will try to help.
@@beadaholique thank you for your reply. I think it’s getting stuck on the knots.
