Great Q&A session ZVL. I like urethane on the fresh. The Pitch Black works best for me to blend out the cliff and if I kust need sonething controllable when things get weird. If I were to replace it, I would get a Hammer Black Pearl Urethane.
Follow up question (10:11) on three ball arsenal. Would you start with the strong & sharp sym peal on the fresh, then ball down to medium smooth solid, and finish the night with the weak & sharp pearl? Or might there be cases where you begin with #2, then go up to #1, and finish with #3? (BTW, this is what I did in league last night). TIA
It all depends on the conditions. Generally on a house shot, you can start with a ton of different balls. But if the lanes break down in a way where there's a ton of oil in the middle of the lane and there is very little on the outside, then a smoother ball or a strong/sharp ball will be best. If they start burning up too early, a symmetrical pearl will be the play
When it comes to SPI urethane, the overseas Roto Grip Hustler line is Storm’s best urethane option imho. The Red Pearl Hustler is probably the closest thing you’ll find to a Purple or Black pearl Hammer.
The one thing I have a question about with your layout point, is that 2 handers are usually Rev dominant. So having the pin close to the fingers, seems like a pin down, even though the pin is above the fingers. Would that make the ball more controllable?
How many games does a bowling ball typically last, and how does its performance change as it ages? How can I determine when to retire a ball from my arsenal?
Depends on the wear and tear from the center, how well you maintain the maintance of your ball. Usually a good benchmark is 70 games but for the average house bowler, you could probably get 100+ games or more until you truly start seeing some performance deficit
Awesome channel. I can't get enough of the content
Really like this format. I love the live sessions too, but this might be even better. Thank for all the great content.

I haven’t seen them go down the lane much, but that’s really good to know!

Correct, and it would make it smoother
Between the Origin, DNA Coil, and Physix Blackout, if you could have 2 in the same bag, which would you choose? Thanks!
Definitely the Physix and Origin. But they’re closer together in reaction compared to either combined with the Coil

Exactly what Tyler said. And the ball will last a few hundred games until it’s truly dead - you’ll notice it dies when it doesn’t absorb oil anymore
@@ZVLBowling resurfacing balls also effects the life of bowling ball right ?
Would the hammer mania be a good ball to put behind my hammer effect?
Yes, but I’d drill it a little weaker so they don’t have overlap
Y’all should sub to his gaming channel so he can game stream more 🗣️🔥
