That doesn’t mean every channel does. It’s pretty cringe how desperate you are to try and find ‘evidence’. It really wouldn’t take that much time to chainsaw up fallen logs into beams and planks. I think you can’t believe it because you’re lazy.

No windows on the downhill side certainly helps keep the house warmer in the cold & windy seasons. Many ways exist to even on THAT side have windows (with or without glass), where NO ladder is needed to make them or even the holes in the walls! Even when installing the hinges &c, even for windows swinging to the outside. This remains possible, even now after those walls have been completely planked, because everything is done from the inside of the house. But I am sure that you already know this. 🙂 EXCELLENT work & quality so far!

All western houses have glass window. My house has eleven very big windows. So light can fill our house during the day rain or shine. The window is about 8ft by 8ft. My bedroom has sliding glass door. Your window is too small by our standard. But if you’re happy and it’s what work for you then it’s OK.

It is a beautiful house. You are doing a good job. Remember to seal the wood to protect it from the rain. If it isn’t sealed it will warp and rot.
