    LOL Love the disclaimer at the start! But you sounded fine to me. It always helps if you don't have the wind blowing you all over the place of course ;) Happy new year - and looking forward to part two of this poem ❤

    An exercise in clever alliteration, I can imagine the reaction of the audience when this was first recited.

    Is "gogl" a cognate of "gaggle"?

      I was wondering the same thing. @Jackson crawford Is this just pattern-seeking or is there a etymological connection here?

    • @eldattackkrossa9886
      @eldattackkrossa9886 Рік тому +2

      It's unsure, the Barnhart Concise Dictionary of Etymology claims that "gaggle" might possibly be derived from "gogl", but the Oxford English Dictionary says that it's an artificial term from the 1400s, possibly from imitation of swan noises. Since the first attested use is in the late 1400s I'd probably lean towards it not being a cognate, but that's just some random guy on the internet's opinion :)

    I can hear you fine. I'm not sure I'm paying close enough attention to follow this story. Then again, I often have trouble following these stories.

    A lot of disguising in Norse Myth! I'm not surprised though, every culture has their own metaphoric philosophy.
