Hello, I saw a black bear, a rodent of some sort, a rabbit, and finally a deer that said, "oh excuse me. I thought you were gone." 😆😆😆The garden is beautiful. The hydrangea are beautiful but so is si many other plants. I am in awe.

The rain really helped the hydrangeas, we are very fortunate this year. My sister visits me couple of times a year, and last month when she came, she said she noticed the wildlife had increased significantly, what can I ask more? This garden definitely is making me a better person. Thank you! Your comments always make me 😊

Was so happy to see the bear return for a tour! Hope it was kinder to your trees this visit!
The hydrangeas really brighten up the area this time of the year. Looks like you got some new potted plants to be creative with. We gardeners are always creating and rearranging new areas or refining the ones we have, it’s a never ending task, but we love it! I had to chuckle when I caught myself looking under your milkweed leaves to check it out for any activity as I had just come in from my yard prior to your video checking mine out. 😂🦋
Seems like we walked down a new path I don’t remember seeing before, either that or from a different direction. Was that a compost area I saw in the distance? Would love a tour of your work area to gleen some ideas.
What is the name of the alliums I saw. I thought they only bloomed in the spring, but then I’m still learning about them. Excited to see how mine spread out this next spring. My next venture is to find some Joe Pye Weed to add to my garden.
That deer had guilt written all over its face as he was looking at you, especially when it was chewing its last morsel that was in its mouth 🤭 always an adventure.

😂😂😂 good morning Mary! You are so funny! I used to get mad at the deers and rabbits, but slowly I become more easy going as more native plants grow here and there, oh yes the Joe-Pye weed, how I love them! It started with just one plant sowed by the birds right next to my mail box, it looks like weed at first ( forever I guess for the name), I tried to pull it but the root is strong, so I convinced myself to let it grow, then the flower buds formed and bloomed beautifully! Later on at the next summer, after I learned about this native plants, I spotted lots of them next to a parking lot of a store (Habitat for Humanity, a great store for treasure hunting!), so I asked the manager to let me dig some home, this is the third year, they are every where in my garden as I desired, and I’ve gave a lot away too. What a blessing to our life.
This bear is not the same as the other one, although I just capture it in my video the first time, but we have bumped to each other before, it has 2 red tags on its ears, at first, I thought it’s a girl wearing 2 red flowers on her head 😂 Sure they brought joy to my heart.
The path is all the way at the northwest corner of the lot, there are 2 Japanese maple trees, some Mountain Laurel, rhododendron azalea, and conifers, we just simply through what ever branches and clippings behind the shrubs under the trees( in other areas too), the soil then become so rich I don’t have to purchase compost anymore. The blocks I used to form the path are free from someone’s junkyard, thanks to many friendly people out there.
Since the heat quieted down a bit, I went out shopping and found these beautiful annuals from Home Depot, “Double Zahara” zinnia, “Gnome Pink” gomphrena and “First Flame” purple celosia, they look nice together, so I’ll collect the seeds at the end for next year, and hopefully the celosia will self sow as many of them do I heard, such great feelings for we are able to learn more and more, I can’t wait to see them thrive.
So buggy out there, I often found myself slapping my own face with one hand and the other holding the camera 😅 now you can picture me behind the scene😂

Oh I forgot to write down the name of the allium plants, it’s “ Allium Summer Beauty”, it’s about 18” tall, I planted last year, no one dare eat them; with the wind blowing, they look like groups of dancing little girls… I really looking forward divide them in years to come.

Too funny, if I see a shake in your video, I’ll know the mosquitoes are nearby! I will keep my eye out for Summer beauty alliums. Thanks for info.
