upside downdog put a pipe on it you go a little faster. Or a 60cc or 70cc kit. If you do if I was you I buy something that good quality so you won’t have to just buy another
@@nastynatesscooters9896 Oh no, I sold it in 1986 well worn out with over 10K miles on it. I did the worst thing to it by letting a girl ride it once. She rammed a curb at top speed bending the forks, rims, and breaking the handlebar. I had it fixed but it was never quite the same. I DO have a 1979 Garelli Gransport moped in real nice shape. Fun bikes all.
@@nastynatesscooters9896 Yes they are rare in the US. Mine was bought in Italy by may cousin and he shipped it home in 1979. They started importing them in 1982.
I can’t remember but I believe you have to run a different cable just a single throttle cable, I remember I had to run it through the bike where the other wires are. It was a pain
Is Tyler just trolling for views on his channel? Do you think he even watched the video? I could hear the carb sucking in air at 4:58 and thereafter. That's a neat sound. Seems like acceleration is strong right after 20 mph. That pipe may be better than I thought. If your top temp was 304F then I would try a 77.5 jet. If you can touch the cylinder head, it's not running too hot at all.
churioz26 idk who he be lol my temp gauge stopped working all together on that video. The head is hot but I can stand the heat. So that sound is a good thing. It seems to get louder full throttle but has same power as 3/4 throttle I may try 77.5
@@nastynatesscooters9896 go to the internet and search for 2 stroke motorbrake. The internet will explain it. If you dont do as they say you may brake the motor.
I know this vid is 2 years old but man that was a fun ride. Your QT50 runs strong!!
I bought a new one of those in 1981. It was a blast but not fast. Mine was red too.
