Peter absolutely exceeded all my expectations!!!! The camera does not do it justice!!!! It is absolutely beautiful. The color, detail and realism is beyond words. The carving and detail of the rocks, tunnel portals and retaining walls, as well as the color and layout of the tree's are all very prototypical to the area I wanted to model. Every visitor I have had since he left is just blown away! And again, the camera doesn't show just how large of an area it really is. Peter was very friendly, prompt and professional and his rates are very fare for the work he performs. I couldn't be more happier with how the whole project was executed from beginning planning to final invoicing. I would recommend him to anyone who is serious about building there layout and bringing it into the next level. Thanks again Peter, Jerry
that was a fantastic transformation of the layout. from nothing to a foam board nightmare, to an amazing piece of work. I love the rock croppings you have done.
Peter, your work days seem to be like dog years - so much gets done in such a short time. From more or less bare boards to living woodland landscape. I thought the perspective work with the trees worked really well - in reality at that scale individual trees would be hitting the ceiling probably. As it is, it looked like the trains were running through vast mountain landscapes. Such is the skill in making the scenes work. Gosh I'm glad summer has arrived here, seeing all that snow. We haven't really had much here in the last couple of years.
Hello Peter, thanks for taking us along on another wonderful adventure. The driving footage was fun. On the return trip, the ambulance running the red light was exciting. Your client, judging by his comments, is extremely pleased. And rightfully so. Another amazing transformation in a very short time frame. Beautiful. Where to next? Bye for now. Take care.
Wow, really nice work you got a lot done in six days. Like how it looks, you changed it completely, trees, trees and more trees, it is always suprising how a hill side takes a lot of them. What a nice drive too, looks as it you had some weather too....thanks for sharing....Jack 👍👍👍
Nice work, as always! At Williamsport, Pennsylvania?! That's wonderful! I grew up just 20 miles south of there, and my mother still lives there. That's home for me. Good to see you working in that area. ...Roy
Great work - I model HO, and find that it is a real challenge to get O scale terrain to work when space is limited. I think you pulled it off really nicely!
Peter, I have recently subscribed. Must say am in awe at your knowledge, modelling skills plus practical down to earth approach to design and build. Also enjoy the succinct no nonsense presentation. Another very lucky client, not surprised he was delighted; great to see an American O gauge layout and the 6 day transformation, what a difference. The recently felled slope looked a great feature too. You have a natural eye for doing the rock strata and the different types too, look forward to next week's release. I am just getting back into the hobby. Stephen
I'm interested but there is no way I could afford to. I'm a disabled Vet on a fixed income. But I do pay attention to you and others so I can build up my confidence. Plus I have a great club that helps to teach me. Maybe one day, you never say never right
Hi Peter watching you turn foam to senery is my favourite, actually good to see owner not letting you have all the fun just wondering if there's a date on which you start YOUR LAYOUT, or a hint ,storyline you have planed ,mate we've being waiting in Ernest for your build 😎😎😎
Your work is awesome but i wish i could have seen some how you did it videos instead of the finished sections. I'm new and trying to learn how you go from point a to b. This is a nice layout
While in Williamsport, I hope you took the opportunity to go to English’s Model Railroad Supply just a few miles down the road in Montoursville. Amazing place, also the home of Bowser Trains.
I love to watch these videos as I really admire skill and craftsmanship going into making these layouts I would however like to make a small request to the "cameraman" and ask him to keep the camera more steady as the fine details of the layout become blurry when the camera is not given enough time to focus which is a shame when so much work have been put into crafting and sculpting the layout - it is of course only meant as constructive criticism.
What was that white stuff by the side of the road ? The scenery on the layout looked fantastic, I gather all the rock carving you did by hand? Those trees looked great, are they from Woodland Scenics by any chance? Regards Chris
Yes, all the rocks were carved by hand. I don't carry rock molds on planes any more as it seems the scanners don't like the latex rubber. Every time I've had then in my suitcase, it has been rummaged through by TSA, and last time they caused significant damage to some cars and locomotives that they failed to repack properly.
Where is the best place to get trees for O Scale? I’ve been searching all over EBay and I can never seem to find what I’m looking for without spending a small fortune.
If it's conifers you are looking for, I have some for sale on my web-site. Deciduous trees take longer to make and therefore cost more, although I can make them to order if you like. Please send be a private message and tell me what you are looking for.
Hi Peter, thanks for this nice video! I was wondering about the trees that you used, as I have a similar project on my own layout. Could you share with me which kind/type/brand of trees you used on this layout? I thought they looked great. Thanks and regards, Paul

Thanks for another great video. I must study your rock carving method more closely as the results are most impressive.
There will be a how-to video next week.

I didn't even know of its existence until I read your comment. Besides, I was spending full days on the job and didn't have any time for excursions.
Good video 👍👌nice !!
Greetings from Germany Gert

The customer purchased them prior to my arrival. I believe they are the woodland scenics bulk kits.
Customer was right he does have an eye for it your work is amazingly fast and good
Tunnels are great , But I think Cuttings are better...Your seeing more action.
Love it!
Very nice rocks.
