Hopefully next year 2k will bring out a different archytype system where you can have 2 archytypes 1 as primary and 2 as a secondary or something like that it would be dope

The first player I made was in the prelude, a 6"4 playmaker PG. I made him great but made him a low ass wingspan for shooting I guess. I'm fine in career mode but I'm park I get blocked every time I drive it seems like. So I made a long armed 6"5 PG playmaker but I'm too lazy to grind him Lmao I'm done with this game now
Post Scorer is Beast BUT Its very hard to play cause: 1. gotta MAStER at least ten animations.Each One could give u Easy bucket or bad block or contested shot with no rebound. Gotta understand properly every minumin space left and bè iperreactive 2. You Need teammates to appreciate your game and what are u gonna do cause You ll Need SPACE! countless time when posting up i saw teammates setting dumb on ball screens or maybe worst, cutting beside u carrying their Defender on You=LOOSE BALL 3. IN PROam u ll Need a rebounder bigman in your team cause You r gonna easily snagged by opponent big. Last tip: Don't Camp in d Paint. Set screens, use your midrange or your 3point (55 is enough to get corner greens), roll hard and move d ball cause when u got the ball in the post but the d has moved, you r gonna find yourself good matchups again wings or guards. LAST LAST TIP: when u post and double team arrives, Just kick the ball out for open shot and start goin back in D cause no way You r gonna snag a Board from post up position, cause You r already boxer out. I won't be buying 2k18 unless they do something about the ridiculous grind, most people want to try more than one build, to get badges etc again is just too painful.
Infused what he's saying is it takes a ridiculous amount of time to grind for yo myplayer. Which discourages people from trying to create another player cuz it takes too long.
Agent I swear you gotta try this jump shot I made: Base = J.Harden Release 1 = L.Bird Release 2 = R.Westbrook 50% animation blend (does a mini arm twitch which shows you when you should release it for green light). Keep the release speed at 100% or 75% depending on what you feel more comfortable with.
@Agent 00 Post scorers are really good as long as your team can space the floor well, and give you space in the post. The Steal button is their downfall as its been for centers for years. Never quite understood how guards get rewarded for spamming the steal button, when centers are taught to keep the ball high.
And you need to pay attention to the contract information, be sure to get the one that says big bonus or big reward when deciding which route you want to take w the endorsement
Yup same thing happened to me with the wingspan on my 7'3" glass cleaner. I didn't max it out. I thought just leaving it at the default would be most beneficial. On my career and park, I beast. In pro am I find that 7'3" centers with maxed weight and wingspan kill me on the boards.
I did watch your custom jump shot video and I changed the base to kobe's and the releases to Durant and it has worked pretty well for me. Thanks for the advice
I've been using the same release for months even through all the patches. I may be broke for a game or two after the patch but then i be right back on point.
Hopefully next 2k you can actually be a two way superstar. Not just be "good" in one area. It's crazy after all the grind you'd only be like an 70-80 overall
Rose 2K1 you can upgrade better things than agility because your not going to be dribbling with a post scorer. your going to get ripped every single time
Here are the things I wish I knew before creating a myplayer 1. 2K would create 7 patches in 3 months that would destroy our myplayers and force us to invest money into other archetypes so they could profit. 2. 2K is going to die out before Christmas, so don't waste your money 3. Every MyPark player just plays 2s with screens and mid range jumpshots 4. It isn't worth investing a cent into, so invest into Madden instead
Agent can you make a tutorial on how to change you're camera in park, how to zoom out cause if I'm on one side of a court I can't see the middle nor the other side
My shot is money I used KD base, and Curry with Korver releases. 60% curry and 40% Korver. Keep the release time at what it was set in and bam its money
But shot creators can dribble and break ankles because i have an 80 speed with dribble and with a boost thats 85 then if you have the ankle breaker badge on hof it all adds and with a 88 speed without boost all of it does the job for me. Shot creators can dribble good enough, make crazy pull up shots, has the 2nd best layups and dunks compared to slasher.Decent defense with max of 74. Shot creators are average without badges but you really need the badges to hit your shots. Boosts help a lot too. The shooting off dribble helps A LOT. So i go with sharpshooter and shot creator.
I would make another archetype but I am not willing to grind badges like I did with my playmaker I have now. The only real problem I have is that unless I'm wide open, driving into the paint is a no-go cause it's just going to get blocked even when I time the layup release. My 3 pt shooting is pretty good I average about 17 ppg on the ProAm dropped 20-28 the last couple of games. But making a whole new archetype. The grind is just not worth anymore for me
My post scorer is 7'3 300 pounds max wingspan and shoulder width, if you get all the inside badges with him he is literally unstoppable. And that grand badge is ridiculous just post fade every time green. 😀
Agent FYI. I have a post scorer and 2k broke the post hooks again this year. Can be perfect position in lower block and do a hook and it an F quality. Keep up the videos
I believe i use 5 b/c I like the animation. But hooks been broke since 2k14 and what I dnt understand is I'll get greens on hooks offline. Yet online I'll b lucky to get a C quality and hit it

It's funny you said that because I think I actually made the perfect my player the first time. I see people on youtube builds making max height and max weight and shortest arms and all that other bs. I made a player for what I wanted to do on the court and it has worked out perfectly. I will say that I didn't know that 95 was the cap so I put some attributes in some places that I would have waited on but it doesn't effect me to the point I had to make a new player. I hear everyone talking about how sharpshooters can't dribble and need screens, I am a 6"11 stretch big and tell randoms not to give me screens because all it does is bring another defender. I understand that you may have not been able to speed boost when you made that 6'8 playmaker but do you really need to?? You and Soilluminati are my fav UA-camrs but I'm starting to see that you guys are good but only because you take advantage of all the glitches and broken things on the 2k like speed boosting and multiple screens. You guys aren't good because you are just better at the game but you are good because you are better at exploiting it. The fact that you didn't use a player after spending money on it and he wouldn't make a player because they couldn't speed boost makes me think that without speed boosting and screens y'all might really be average.
