Prepare for more Kill Team videos incoming as I'm back in the KT vibe! MINOR NOTE: Reanimation Protocols now trigers AFTER Living Metal. So RIPPERONI Hierotek Circle, nerf received
And if you feel that's something you want to support, consider supporting me over here: www.patreon.com/GlassHalfDead
More rules to keep track off with the Salvagers! I love those dwarfs but I spent most of the time looking up the rules, and forgetting to use a third of them.
@@Mauzwauz1978 Good thing you've already got your diary open to keep track of your grudges, so the book is right there for you!
What they needed was a buff to their dash, not this. Make their dash 4inch and also the extra inch like their move does.....then they can actually get on objectives with a move-dash.
The previous Hierotek Reanimation Protocol used to say “Before living metal”. But it also originally said “After living metal” back when the team was released. Now it doesn’t say either before or after in this latest update. What do you think?
@@jamesmalloy3445 Ooh, unless I missed something, it will still work the same as it's not modifying that part of the rule! This is only changing how many wounds you regain, not when you reanimate
I've had it explained to me by people that are better than me that this is after living metal now. So they can't heal after reanimation
Per the actual rule as printed in Shadowvaults, Reanimation protocols activate after living metal. This was changed to be before living metal in a prior dataslate. Since that change is no longer present, it is now after living metal again.
This means the wound-count on reanimation is 3-5, which means Immortals are usually injured, and Cryptek, Despotek and Apprentek are always injured. Further it makes them negligibly easy to one-shot after returning. It's a huge nerf to the team.
@@tedcincoski2497 ah well okay, good thing gw has such a great rules distribution system to make that clear!
@@GlassHalfDead From the Q1 Balance data slate -Reanimation Protocols ability: Resolve before Living Metal ability, operatives are successfully reanimated
on a 2+, they regain D3+3 lost wounds.... I would say it no longer happens before living metal.
no mandrakes changes is crazy
They never get any changes the first dataslate that comes out after them
@@ChaosMieter Yeah, too early for them yet. We've only had a few tournaments, not really that many games played in the grand scheme of things etc.
But clearly they need to be tuned down, for sure
I’m glad I hadn’t built my scouts yet because I was planning to do the alternative sgt.
@@CrimsonTemplar2 Lucky! Apparently they're okay in 40k now as action monkeys, so maybe they'll be hard to get hold of as well
Yeah, they’re auto-include in a lot of lists these days for Marines (except now Deathwatch can’t field them at all, which makes lore-sense)
What other sergeant ? Cuz other than the chainsword one its just a warrior
Circle Hello! Hope you have a painless move to your new place.
@@CrimsonTemplar2 I'm having to live with my parents for a month, but... fingers crossed that's the worst of it!
I may have understood you wrong, but how I read the Felgor Reckless Det. change is that you CANT be in cover to benefit from it. I.e. you cant get 2 automatic saves if youve already activated and are in cover, now its just a "if youre in the open you get a free cover save". Def a mild feels bad when I just got my Ravagers in the mail yesterday.
@@waynedodson7360 Yes, my bad, you have it right. Such is the problem of trying to not get hung up on a single rule for too long, I have to speed read!
I wouldn't take this as any level of feels bad, honestly. Fellgor are strong enough that I promise you, if you want to keep friends, you want them nerfed. they're too strong and not in a fun way. A few nerfs are good for the team
@@GlassHalfDead I dont blame you at all, glad I actually understood them properly ;) And def probably right, I have never played them nor against them, but probably a good thing. Thanks for the great video as always and for the reply!
5:35 Hey, at least one game has been played on BD at PKT events! It's totally a real thing that people care about!
@@majortom7186 I know that at least 1 game has been played as I recorded it. Beyond that... I'm not so sure
Last balance dataslate 😮 this edition….
@@slackeratlarge575 I reckon we've got one more and it will be what brings Nightmare and Termination into line
No cameras? Boo!
Hope the move goes smoothly.
@@Inquisitor_Vex Very boo, indeed!
The gnarlscar is a veteran with bionic modifications. That’s the whole purpose behind his extra wound. No idea why the mangler had an extra
@@zpauga He's just a big boi
So Strike Force Justian is fully balanced and doesn't need buffs or nerfs? Is this due to a lack of data because few people were able to get the models?
@@mayofrench5170 sfj does what it's supposed to I think 🤷♂️
❤ Scouts ❤
@@killteamken5997 You can't proxy them as loyalist marines though!
Completely agree with your comment regarding rosters in this edition. I guess the idea of not having them in one of their game systems was too weird for gw.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the change for the Theyn, is that only the first time it takes damage in the whole game because it says "the first time during the battle"? Maybe I'm just reading it wrong. It only happening once seems kinda lame and something easily missed.
@@dwarrenmsp nope you've got it correct. It's still a very good damage reduction ability imo
@@GlassHalfDead Alright, sounds good. I wasn't sure. Pretty new to KT so still learning the ropes. I'm a Votann fan, so I guess this helps.
Arbites buffs were appreciated for my main team. Entering my Stubbermaxx era
Why even release this data slate 😂
Great changes for the Salvagers, makes we want to pick them up again.
So now Scouts' big knives are all Power Weapons?
Reivers are screaming in frustration… luckily it costs them 0ap to do so now.
Hi Andy, hi Andy
Holy crap, GW remembered Kill Team exists?
