Just wanted to express how much I appreciate your content. I’m on week 6 of orientation as a respiratory therapist and would really like to practice at the top of my license and have meaningful input on my patients treatment and your channel is helping me fill in gaps and be ahead of the curve. Ty ❤
Hey man, thanks so much for this comment! This is awesome to hear and really the exact reason why I make these videos and have this channel still going. Well it's a little selfish as it keeps things fresh for me and I learn along the way too, but knowing the videos have a positive impact is really what keeps me going! Thank you!
Some of the most helpful and informational videos I've found on UA-cam! I'm stepping onto an ICU for the first time next week and you're making it just a little less scary!
I have started to work at a ICU recently, Your videos are amazing, they have helped me to understand several concepts...I thank you very much and wish you the best.
I've now watched five of your videos. First: Thank you. This is valuable content. You describe the concepts logically, and your discussion of the practical application of medications in ICU is appreciated.
Question. You show how myocite action potential is affected but i didnt see a diagram of how pacemaker action potential is affected. Im a visual learner so i was wondering if you could explain how it is affected in class 2 and 5 antiarrythmics please.

I've been listening the last 2 weeks thank you for all the help I do have a question you said atropine could only be used on the 2nd degree type one av block I just recently had a physician at bedside haven me used atropine for a type 2 second degree block can you tell me why and was he doing inappropriate
sometimes atropine is used "just in case it works" so you dont have to go to pacing. if it doesnt work its no big deal, but if it works thats awesome. then you dont have to shock your patient repeatedly

So for lidocaine, you wrote 1-4 kg/min for typical dose infusion, but said milligrams instead of kilograms
