For broken tomatoes you can cut them off at a node and plant it in the ground and it should root :) I take tomato cutting and stick them in the ground and they root
You are awesome and dedicated to your plant babies. We just started amending our vegetable barrels and extra large planter. That took my husband 7 hours today. We now have 10 home depot 5 gallon buckets and 12) 7 gallon pots to amend. Because we live in the Brooklyn NY. Very little earth to plant in. So we grow in barrels, pots and this year I'm trying grow bags for the first time.. Happy Gardening 2021.
@@Edu_Kate I haven't tried lemon verbena, but I grew my lemon balm from seed and the first year it was pretty small but still fragrant and the 2nd year it exploded with growth! It turns into a little bush but you can cut it back hard if it gets too big and it'll come right back
Roxana you have an exceptional game plan for your vegetable garden this year! I love the layout and the addition of nasturtiums and sweet alyssum! I like to add in scented herbs too like sage and lemon balm. They all keep the pests away. Thanks for sharing your beautiful garden as always. Have a great week!!
Your garden is beautiful I can’t wait to see when all the flowers fill in and your trellis is full! I want raised beds so bad but my entire back I yard is on a awful slope. I’m not sure we can have them but I love the look Of them. Currently I have one small patch plowed and the rest I’m doing on my deck which is huge. Just doing a lot of containers
Containers are life savers! I still do a lot with them as well in my veggie garden! There is a girl on IG that has a huge slope backyard and did some neat arrangement for "beds"... check her out fit_garden_mom

Hola, el arco lo hice de una lamina de cerca... no se si asi las conoceras, pero es una pieza de cerca que se usa para cercar animales, la lamina es super fuertizima, entonces necesitaras a otra persona que te ayude a medio dobrarla, y usamos unos T-posts o postes de metal duropara sostenerla en el lugar donde esta. Este arco lo use hace un año para melones pequeños y esta temporada la voy a usar para tomates, definitivamente la puedes usar para calabazas, melones, sandias, tomates, pepinos... lo que sea que necesite una guia fuerte.

I probably keep them around 18" or so apart, which is REALLY close BUT I do prune them hard, leaving only up to 2 main branches.

You know, they did survived... however, they took their sweet time... they stayed little for the loooongest time and I almost gave up on them, somebody mentioned to me to pot them up, even thou they were a tiny little thing, I did and I feel like that did it... somehow the roots needed to be messed with GENTLY... I wanted to put them in my no-dig bed but I could't find a good spot for them, so I will have to figure out where next.
Hi! Could you tell me what fertilizer you use through out summer for your flowers outside?? Love your garden and I live close to you so hopefully I will have similar results Edit: for your flower beds
Hey Allyson! I use espoma plant tone for shrubs and/or perennials outside, I give them one dose during the spring and call it good for the season, maybe in the summer if I am organized enough I will come back with something like a fish fertilizer or something liquid, but I don't stress it. For my annuals, any liquid fertilizer out there works that is specifically design for them, I am really not picky about fertilizers, as long as they are somewhat natural they are ok for me, I do try to fertilize my annuals on a weekly basis, but if I am being realistic, is more like a 2-3 week period.

I try to always grow Lemon Verbena for the scent. But it's getting harder to find. I suppose I could grow it from seeds.
