Here, AFTER IS A Conjunction, right? so after this sentence is reduced into After sitting home all day, I was bored. the word -After is still conjunction, NOT PREPOSITION!Word- Sitting should be present participle!

I am sorry but I noticed that there's a mistake in 01:05, where you said gerunds are the subjects of prepositions - they should serve as the OBJECTS of prepositions, such as "I am fond OF (prep) swimming (gerund)".
