Thanks! Great video. Now I'm totally changin oils myself. Seems to bee even easier than old S40 T4 2000. Filters and plugs done allready before. I changed that airconditioner filter from the drivers side...only removed gas pedal. I'ts one tight job.
you are the man you are the man!it takes more than 5yrs to meet a well experience dude like you. great stuff. How do we replace the brake pads? I will never touch that pollen filter no. please show us how to replace the brake pads thanks again
Hello! Great video! I have some questions: 1. Do you think it is recommended to change the timing chain after 200,000 km? 2. Is the fuel filter in a special location? Volvo service center says in the engine, it is close to the engine and cannot be replaced. How is this possible? 3. My manual transmission type: MTX75 B4. There is no oil drain option. Volvo service says the replacement is unnecessary because it has a lifetime of oil in it. Do you think so? I'am at 125,000 km, no oil consumption. I only use 100 octane gasoline rating.
@FixYOURride13 I have the same Volvo and I would like to know how to change the right side engine mount? There's a pipe in the way which I dont know if I could remove safely? (Visible az 0:19 on the bottom right of the screen, left from the expansion tank) Thank you
firstly I don't understand why the oil filter was not filled directly with oil from the can, with clean oil, and secondly the pollen filter is changed by removing the accelerator pedals, it is much simpler
Hi, I never filled new oil filter be fore fitted 🤔 maybe it is not bad idea if the filter is in this position 👍. RH drive car has access from that side, LH drive car have acceleration pedal side access. 😉
According to the manufacturer, 310,000 kilometers were completed flawlessly. The timing chain can also reach this distance without error. However, it is recommended to check at 200,000 kilometers. It is not a stupid thing to replace at this kilometer, not an expensive part! The oil change period is very important, it is recommended 10,000 kilometers / 1 year. Oil quality is also very important! This is suitable for: APPROVALS: ACEA A5, ACEA B5, Ford WSS-M2C 913-A, Ford WSS-M2C 913-B, Ford WSS-M2C 913-CFord WSS-M2C 913-D. I think Liqui Moly SPECIAL TEC F 5W-30 is the best oil you can use!
