Mega impressed with team shampoo's presentation...damn! You guys absolutely killed it and kept a straight face with Ken's comedy...hella impressive!

I remember they used to have the Yellow Power Ranger on the team when he left the show. He was amazing and destroyed at Karate tournaments, it wasn't fair to the other competitors.

Sorry, but I think it's a misnomer, a Bo (Long staff)to me should be taller than a man, that stick is too light and too short to be called a proper Bo. It looks more like a Jo(Short staff) to me.

Actually, for me, of the 3 weapons forms shown, the Eku(Oar) was the most legit of the three. It showed proper application of power, footwork and intent resembling the traditional Kobudo of Okinawa.

If you meant the more flashy and fluffy moves gets the most approval from the crowd, then yes I get it. This is what the team was made for after all, as a walking shampoo ad for great shiny hair. Just saying I didn't expect the Eku to be part of the demo since it didn't have the flash and flips that the other two forms had. Plus the guy doing the forms had no use for shampoo.
Im glad Master Ken takes time to guide those small time practicioners into the right way of self defense, lets all stomp more groins

I don't think I've seen the Paul Mitchell team perform in 20 years. I used to watch them all the time on ESPN2 along with sumo and kickboxing.
Yeah, I just saw Team Paul Mitchell this year at the US Open Martial Arts tournament which Black Belt magazine live streamed on You Tube. Really enjoyed the group's performance. Also, in the current issue of Black Belt Magazine (December 2022/ January 2023) Haley Glass (woman with the long curly hair who performed with the Kamas here) is interviewed.
I remember coming home from work and watching Strike force kickboxing out of San Jose and the sumo matches after.

Depending on the style of karate. Look it up yourself, some do using weapons. Master Ken has black belt in karate that does all sorts of weapons.
