Good evening Jonathan, hope your back starts feeling better. Your place is looking great and nice of them to carry your furniture right in place. That pipe is a nice looking addition to your collection, I like the shape also, hopefully you can find out some more information on it. Keep us posted. Regards Mark
Erinmore flake ...... one of my favorite blends for sure !! Just finished up a tin. I would ask Paladin Piper about the pipe ...... he knows lots about many pipe brands. Nice job on the decorating Johnathan.
Aye up Jonathan... can't help you with the pipe, I've got one similar I bought from an old guy that refurbs estate pipes, does a beautiful job. The only ID I have is a number, 274. I'm a returning pipe smoker, started in my teens then started rollies for the next 35 years. I gave up smoking altogether 7 years ago, but I could kill a ciggy every day since. Started the pipe again a month ago and loving it. The baccies available these days is unbelievable and I'm trying to build a cellar. I started with Ennerdale, lovely stuff. Just bought a bag of Clan.... don't mock... it's bringing back memories, and I'd forgotten how sweet and creamy it was. Anyway, I've waffled enough. Take care fella, from a fellow Yorkshire man not too far away. I'm working my way through your very good vlogs.
@@ritualchaos7182 Enjoy the journey buddy, I rolled my own for probably the same amount of time, but after the pipe and you do have a ciggy you’ll realise just how bad they are and how much they really do stink.
@@s.m.r.1202 Thanks Randy, I got there eventually slapping on the paint but I’m glad it only has to be done once in a while. Yeh it’s a bonny pipe, nice of him to think of me.
Jonathan always good to hear from you really nice pipe. Try and rest the back as much as you can you’ll be in my prayers. Have a good rest of the day my friend.
@@Mastiffpiper Cheers Steve, I’ve been nigh on horizontal since I did the video buddy. I’m listening to my body for a change as usually I’ll just try and battle on through and I just make myself worse. Have a good night mate.
Sorry to see you suffering, I sincerely hope your back settles quickly. Really enjoyed the video as always, the new decor looks grand, but alas I’m no help re the pipe, it’s certainly a good looker though, what a lovely gift. Take it easy, all the best, Steve.
From my research and the look of that beauty….i think you have a. Dunhill that dialed the final quality check. They would make an X on the Stummel like that when they didn’t pass the last inspection. They would sell them at significant discounts on their stores.
@Eijor_Pip it is that, a lovely well marked pipe and unsmoked, shifting furniture wasn't the best idea but I've got no choice living on my own, just got to do what we have to do and hope for the best.
Jonathan , your house looks great! I hope your back feels better soon. I know what it's like , I deal with chronic lower back pain on a daily basis. I'm sorry I can't help with the maker of your newly gifted pipe. and a great rest of your week
That is a great looking pipe Johnathan. I really like that bulldog shape. What ever it is it's a dandy. The only thing I Could find on a pipe made in London with an "X" on it could be a Dunhill pipe that was previously marked as a "failing" or "damaged price. Cheers Ron
Really nice pipe, sir. Keeping Uncle Willie in my thoughts. Smoking some 17-year-old Marlin Flake in an old Peter Heeschen P shape on a beautiful fall evening.
@MichaelTaylor-dr6gx Hello Michael, yes we are all gunning for Uncle Willie and will be glad to see him back to full fettle soon. I bet that Marlin Flake was a good smoke and even better on a nice evening.
Nice place Jonathan. I’ve been looking for a 9mm filtered bent bulldog to round out my collection. Jack Ryan had one a while back that I should have jumped on but it had a longer shank than the traditional design. Me and the misses will be downsizing in less than 2years. May even move into the in-laws apartment at my daughter and SIL’s place. Or put a tiny home on the property. 😂 Cheers brother 🍻
@Stillypapabear Well i could help you out there Gary check out mysmokingshop.co.uk and click on export specials then click on Comoy's of London they have some 9mm in stock.
It's a lovely little pipe whatever it is. I tried a bit of google detective work but came up short.. Possibly a Pete? Look after that back mate! Bit of R&R now 🙏 Stay smokey mate 😎 🤙
@KnottsAndPipes Good morning mate, yes it's a nice looking bulldog and yes I'm taking it steady as I'm aching from my neck to lower back and into my hips. Don't get old it not much fun when things start to wear out.
Yet another great video, really enjoyed it. Your place looks very nice indeed. I wonder if anyone can give me some advice. I’ve always wanted to try Haunted Bookshop Tobacco but can’t seem to find it anywhere in the UK. Hope you don’t mind my asking advice. Hope your back gets better soon. Take care mate and to everyone that watches. Danny 👍
@MrDparker69 Some tobaccos we just can't get unless you try to order some haunted bookshop from the states and hope it doesn't get picked up by customs, there are a lot of tobaccos I really enjoy from country squire but it's whether you run the risk or not.

Strange enough I have two Petersons with a 'F' stamp! But this one here soesn't look like a Pete at all. The stem looks rather modern and thus it wouldn't be made in London. 🤷🏼♂️

Hi Jonathan! I love a good pipe mystery! What material is the stem made of? Does the pipe have a stinger?
