Dude not gonna lie I watched most of Chris Masters' 2009 matches. They were really good. It was so weird cuz he was enhancement talent on the main roster brands, but was like the John Cena of WWE Superstars. I remember him getting squashed by Drew Mcintyre on Smackdown and then tapping him out on the next Superstars.
@@cjfrm3658 shit I was so young I barely remember. I think it was around the time Flair was about to retire as he was wrestling in the same match as well. It was a dark match main event with big show taker Palumbo flair edge and a few others in a tag match. It was in fayetteville nc and a smackdown/ecu taping. That's all I remember haha
Too Cool was a prototype to The New Day. Both were teams of 3 made up of friends who just want to have fun. They have a big guy, who can be serious and silly as needed with two smaller guys. Too Cool was obsessed with dancing, and New Day has their silly positivity and unicorn hats.
I remember 10, 9, 8 and 2 I had just started watching Wrestling when Palumbo came back, I knew it didn't last long but I still remember Chris Masters 2010 I think mainly cuz he was DLC for SVR 2011 lol, I remember the Spirit Squad cuz it was part of one of the best feuds on Smackdown at the time and I actually feel like how could you forget Booker but one I'm surprised didn't make the list is I wouldn't blame people for forgetting The Headbangers 2016
Vader's Return was the idea of Dusty Rhodes, but Vinnie Mac was never a fan of Vader His WWE run wasn't a great one He was great in WCW and awesome in New Japan Pro Wrestling, but his WWE run was horrible
You also forgot to mention that Kenny from the Spirit Squad also stayed around for a bit way before Dolph Ziggler but I guess it was a flop Kenny even made it into a wrestling video game with his new gimmick
*Mason Ryan, Stevie Ray, Earthquake, Alundra Blayze...* Good news, though. He got his own motor garage making/repairing custom bikes and cars, which is pretty cool. He has a band and runs fitness classes and had a shortlived TV show that sounds like it was in a similar vein to Wheeler Dealers.
Don't know about you guys but when I was watching Chris Masters and the master lock challenge when I was still a teen I totally believed his was the shit.
Most of the time I never even realized they left...So when I get the announcement of "He/She's returning later tonight" or a "Is that who I think it is...it Is,he's back..heeee's back"!! I'm like "Huh.....He left"?? :|
Wow, I was under the impression that I wouldn't remember these comebacks... I was completely wrong, I remember all of them like it was yesterday. Try picking stuff from Velocity or HeAT.
Spirit Squad could have worked if they were masked jobbers, who could be replaced. A heel manager/wrestler with them in tow to bump as comedic security could totally work
PCO was great then and even better now somehow ! I think he shoulda been used better back then . His matches with Brett were great !!! To be honest i was entertained in just about every match he was in !
Just looking at guys like Palumbo and Masters, WWE could have put more effort into them, and maybe they’d have took the ball in their court and been the next WWE megastars, instead of Cena and Batista really being the last ones of their kind

Superstars was carried by Masters, Reks, Haas, Shelton, Hawkins, Trent, Tyson Kidd, and British Bulldog Jr.
@@nickonite I really thought Reks was going to be a main eventer one day
I only remember Palumbo’s comeback because he was on SvR 2009…and I’m sure I’m not the only one 😂
The fact Michelle McCool was his valet gained my attention, ironically enough, his entrance music was “YOU WILL REMEMBER MAAAAAYYYY!”
He feuded with Jamie Noble
I saw him wrestle live with that gimmick and was shocked to see him be just as taller if not taller than the undertaker
@@TheSickGman09 What year?

Ironic how Chuck Palumbo's return is on here considering the title of his theme song at the time
You WON’T remember me!!!!!
@@dr.kasimirmosebusch9575 Me too.
@@dr.kasimirmosebusch9575 That's when I started watching and I agree. I really miss that underrated midcard
@@dr.kasimirmosebusch9575 Chuck's run as a whole is a huge mystery. Like why have him sit at home for over a year to begin with? 🤔
@@dr.kasimirmosebusch9575 Same, dude
I do remember the Spirit Squad return and I met them during my travels. Kenny is ripped and mad cool like the Voice of The Culti-Crew
Colin Delaney's comeback was so forgotten it wasn't even on this list
Who's Colin Delaney?
Damn.
@@TheIndustrialRevolution. Beaten up jobber who rode Tommy Dreamer's coattails
Oh shit he did make a return. Was is more than one match back?
In an alternate timeline,
MVP is probably on this list.
Kinda feel like haku would be more popular today with as much as we know about him
Haku and Steve Williams would kill it today
1000%
Without a doubt!!
Ooh definitely
10,000%!!!!!!!!!!
10:51-10:58 SmackDown was on broadcast TV back in the Attitude Era, so fans who didn't have cable were only missing out on RAW.
I wonder how many people remember when George Steele returned as one of the oddities in the late 90s
Loved it!!!!
7 people remember that.

I remember Haku hanging around in catering and in the APA skits but not much else during the Invasion

I actually liked Palumbo's return. It was when I first started watching
Come on, we all remember the spirit squad's return. It wasn't that long ago.
I definitely would have put Kenny Dykstras solo return on here before that
Who'd forget Mauro calling "Oh my god he killed Kenny!" after one of the weakest looking superkicks ever?
I honestly expected Chris Masters to have a long career with several world championships to his name.
I was wrong.
It's amazing that he's only 38.
Same... I remember the master lock challenge.
Ouch on that “Jakked & Heat” comment. That touched too close to home.
I loved Chuck Palumbo as a kid that theme still hits
I'll never forget Haku's return and teaming with Rikishi to take on Undertaker & Kane.
So I only remember Chuck Palumbo for his return lmao. Granted that was the time I was watching WWE as a child so I guess that makes sense lmao.
Vader was so underutilized.
Yaa but his style didn’t fit wwe as he was a strong style wrestler as he toured Japan alot
I'd watch your back... Haku is coming for you now 😂
I remember all of these I viewed. Probably should include the Headbangers in 2016.
James Elssworth in 2018.
As an honor he will also be returning to WWE this year.
The best thing about Chuck Palumbo's return in 2007, was that Howard Jones formerly of Killswitch Engage, sang his theme.
I'll have to check that track. I remember killswitch did one of CM Punk's themes that was pretty badass too.
After Vader took out Monsoon, I never wanted to see him again! I was 8 years old.
I remember the Spirit Squad comeback. That match between the Miz and Ziggler where they got involved was an amazing match
I’m pretty sure most remember the spirt squad one. And I remembered like 6 of these lmao
I remember chuck and quite frankly his biker gimmick was badass
Ah yes, Chuck Palumbo, probably the user of the most ironic theme song in wrestling history
Vader's Return was the idea of Dusty Rhodes, but Vinnie Mac was never a fan of Vader
His WWE run wasn't a great one
He was great in WCW and awesome in New Japan Pro Wrestling, but his WWE run was horrible
Way to mansplain Vader, we all know this by now dude
I remember the Spirit Squad return. I was worried they somehow would cost Dolph the match. lol
I had to Google what a p45 is lol
I remember Vader was in some episodes of boy meets world
You also forgot to mention that Kenny from the Spirit Squad also stayed around for a bit way before Dolph Ziggler but I guess it was a flop Kenny even made it into a wrestling video game with his new gimmick
Nikolai Volkoff had a match with Bruno Sammartino in about 1975 or 76, in MSG. He wasn’t completely new to WWF in his first run.
I can't think of Nikolai Volkoff without thinking of The Mighty Macabe thanks to Brian Zane
PCO was in the Brawl for All making his run more memorable than most of the list
Never thought I'd see a Pro-Wrestling Pride still in a Cultaholic video, one from an event I was at no less.
YOU WILL REMEMBER MEEEEEEEEEEE -Chuck Polumbo, before being forgotten
Rikishi teaming with Haku.
Hakushi.
So you’d get the stink face then the Tongan death lock
I remember Chuck Palumbo return.
I'd prefer never returning to a promotion rather than having a forgettable comeback
True
It’s all about the money, pal! Lol
I would have never thought that the spirit squad would return to Wwe again
I remember most of these and I was even in the crowd when Masters returned.
really sad to hear this many years later about chuck palumbos career i thought he was so fucking cool on riding down on a bike when i was 7
*Mason Ryan, Stevie Ray, Earthquake, Alundra Blayze...*

I wish Benoit would make a comeback

I remembered Palumbo as off-brand BikerTaker but forgot about his release instead.
Ironic that Chuck Palumbo is on this list when his theme during his comeback insisted that we'd remember him.
2007 Chuck Palumbo is the only Chuck Palumbo I know hahaha
I started watching wrestling in late 2007 and I remember Chuck vs Jamie all to well.
The only reason I remember Chuck Palumbo is because I was obsessed with SVR 2009 as a kid
Wasn't Haku like 1 of 2 people Andre was scared of?
For a good reason...
@@lg6884 Oh yeah I know that. Wasn't the other Harley Race if I recall?
I wasn't born yet lol I'm sorry I'll see myself out
Palumbo wanted to be an American Bad Ass so bad that he tried to get early access to Michelle McCool.
It's crazy how much Brian Christopher looked like his dad once he got older
I remembered Booker Ts return, namely because that was the era when I started really watching wrestling
Booker T: Tell me you just didn't say that
Glad this video was presented by the LEADER Of Cultaholic and not that disgracefully naughty Andrew.
Jazz should get more recognition
Her recent run in Impact was fantastic.
I told Haku about this video.
Nikolai Volkov wrestled Matt Hardy?! Unbelievable!
Wasn't palumbo on smackdown tagging or feuding with Jamie noble? He was in 2008 Royal Rumble also
Chuck pulumbos theme song: "you won't remember me"

The Quebecers were the original La Resistance.
Doink the clown & Sid Vicous beating Heath Slater

I feel sorry for Vader he was awesome
I just remember palumbo feuding with Jamie noble over Michelle Mccool then leaving
R.I.P Vader slept on by WWE glade he had a great career in Japan and a good one in WcW
Chuck was great 2007

Chris masters should got a push
I’m starting to think cultaholic think wrestling fans are stupid.
I remember 10-6, 3-2
YOOOUUUU AAAAAREEE SOOOOOO GOOOD TO MEEEEEE
Chris Masters = Paul Roma
Jazz had the bad luck to wrestle when WWE was more interested in their female wrestlers looks than in their wrestling ability.
I liked biker chuck

It's time for Cody Rhodes to make his return to WWE. Sign a big deal. Iron clad. Wrestle as Stardust on NXT Evolve.
