No one talks about Renegades! Especially with the popularity of The Lunar Chronicles! I’m so hyped for the next book I preordered it early October and can’t wait.

Anonymous Yes, book is way better. Though I didn’t have that huge problem with the movie as with the TV series, but the books are still way better
@@graverobbersassistant the movie was "okay" to me but the tv series OMG why they wasted such an opportunity to make something good and did that shit :(((( now I don't think tv companies will be interested anymore in adapting the shadowhunters series ...
After 6-7 I still love it lol ...... bought chain of gold the day it arrived on amazon
The Raven Cycle is my favorite urban fantasy series, I am actually rereading it for the 4th time right now!
The raven cycle felt like the the first two parts were written by the author herself and the next two were written by her greatest enemy. First two books were awesome but the ending was horrible. Half of the things didn't make sense. Like why did blue amplified psychic powers, what happened to Noah, why he attacked blue and many more.

Read all of these except I don’t know what six of crows is. I’ll check it out. You should try the land of stories series. Favorite childhood book. On par with Rick Riordan.
Mine is a duology so i dont know if it counts as a series but six of crows and crooked kingdom havent been knocked down of my two favorite books for a longg time

Percy Jackson and the Olympians was the series that got me started on reading when I was a kid and I still have the 1st copy I ever owned of Lightning Thief too!! I wasn't excited about reading as a kid but that was the series that really started my love for it.
I started reading PJO this year and it's so adorable! I can't wait to binge everything Rick Riordan has ever written.
Some of my favorite series of all time include: Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Chronicles of Narnia, and His Dark Materials. I love so many more, but these are ones I am constantly re-reading!

My favorite series is Harry Potter and I've read it 16 times and my parents only let me read it one time per year after my birthday. :(

I used an air tight seal on my books so it still becomes yellow but not tomuch
I picked up the Raven Boys because of you and now it is my number one fav series I've ever read! ( I even have a ley line tattoo now) so THANK YOU BABE!

Favorite books series, percy Jackson and the Olympians, the lord of the rings/the hoppit. Favorite manga , naruto, my hero academia, beast master ( it's only 2 volumes so you can read it in like 2 days)
I love watching videos like this because I just love watching people get excited and talk passionately about books its honestly so lovely to watch! As for my favorite series...well if you spend 5 seconds on my channel you'd know its the Realm of the Elderlings by Robin Hobb. I can't even begin to explain what that series means to me, but its currently at the very top of my list. I also love The Lord of the Rings because of all the nostalgia. As well as the Magic Treehouse series and of course Harry Potter. Those are probably the ones that had the biggest impact on me but there are definitely others I can think of that are special too.
Awww thank you! I had lots of fun filming this one 😊 I’ve never heard of Realm of the Elderlings, but I’ll have to check it out! Also, still have never finished LOTR but I hope to one day hahaha

So glad to see Lila Bard is getting the love she deserves because I saw a lot of readers complain that her impulsiveness is annoying and whatnot and that Kell is too good for her (like what? how many times did she save his ass? and yeah, he saved her neck a few times too, which only proves what a power couple they are), but to me she is the ultimate definition of queen, pure steel, and hard as nails.
Totally agree with you in Illuminae. Second Book came Out Here and i will read it soon

I think of all the booktubers I've watched you're the only one who I share with the same sentiments on The Illuminae Files Series. I was literally lost for words book after book. Its just too perfect tbh. I didnt know they're making a sequel for this, I couldnt be more thrilled!! I'm also secretly hoping for a Novella about Aidan's conception, before it all began 😄
PJO is my favorite series too!!! and you really should check out (if you haven’t already)the Lunar Chronicles, Marissa’s first series! the plot of Heartless is flawless too... Marissa just has a way with stories that I haven’t seen in many other authors
i absolutely love the raven cycle! i still have to read any of rick riordan books i'm just waiting until summer so i can marathon them all hahah
Both a Darker Shade Of Magic and Renegades seems really interesting and I think I would love those books. Those are things to add to my list of books to read

I'm a big fan of Trudy Canavan who also uses deep complex systems-of-magic to give her world depth. I'd highly recommend the Millennium's Rule series :)
All the books in Percy Jackson univrese are my favorite! Also Neal Shusterman's Scythe (and Thunderhead) became instant favorites. And Children of blood and bone was so good as well. And I loved, loved, loved An Ember in the ashes
I have two copies of my dad's pjo series and they were beat up before but after I got them they are even more beat up.
Another one of the series I go brand new is so beat up now because my bookbag was like "oh look a book would be a shame if someone were to damage it"
I also totally love percy jackson ❤️ it’s so nice that you also love aeita and tog bc although they aren’t your favorites, they’re mine haha and i love when my babes are recognized for what they are: awesome! 🥰

0:36 to whenever she finished talking about the Percy Jackson series is so me! I picked up the Lightning Theif in 3rd grade after we had a day where we learned about Greek mythology. I was hooked and have read all of the mythology books Rick Riordan has written and love all of them! He is my favorite author of all time and will never give them up😀
My favorite series that I’ve ever read is the Shades of Magic trilogy. I distinctly remember reading A Darker Shade if Magic for the first on my trip to Denver. I was so engrossed in the story and characters that I couldn’t take my eyes of the page.

I am planning on getting into the mortal instruments and all her other books that basically is about the shadowhunter world, but there is so many other books I wanna read too lol. It's so hard. I did read the first three of the mortal instruments and I was in love. So I do know I'll get to it. Just so many books to read!
And there goes my money 💰 😂 I actually have the first book of some of these series and now can’t wait to fall into them!

I love everything Rick Riordan has ever written. And yes Delilah Bard is one of my all time favorite ever. For Cassandra Clare I definitely love the infernal devices, Jem & Tessa, my favorite couple ever!

Percy Jackson is awesome, A Darker Shade of Magic is unimpressive, TMI is sort of a modern classic new-the shadowhunters world is well constructed. The others I haven't read yet

One of my favorite series right now is the Raven Cycle. One of my friends suggested it to me one day and I am so glad she did. Her small description that she said and the back of the book don’t give the books enough praise. I understand why because then it could go into spoilers you can’t say a lot about it without spoilers
Now I am reading Call Down The Hawk which is a side series to TRC and only the first book is out and I am almost done with it. I think that it will be another one of my favorites

Percy Jackson is one of my favorite series as well! Somehow, my copy of The Lightning Thief is way more messed up than your copy, even though I’m younger than you and rarely ever touch/read it anymore (which I should).

You say that lightning thief is beat up. When my brother and I were younger, we threw books on the car floor, so the front cover of my original is missing and my last olympian has gotten water poured over it by a girl in my class last year.

At first I was like "Don't make me choose my favs!" but actually... Shadowhunters. Anything by Cassandra Clare, basically. I know some of her books aren't that great, I don't love them equally, but I can forget about that when I'm reading and I'm always buying her books and reading them asap. :D

Cat Vloguje I’m hesitant to read her books because of the reviews and the overwhelming massiveness of the world 😂 It’s a huge commitment lol. Is it worth it?/Where do you recommend starting?
@@Yee-xp8bf I can't stress how much it is worth it! (At least to me 😂) definitely start with the moral instruments. I know some people recommend reading them in order of publication but this would mean switching between trilogies at some point which could be a little disruptive? I would say the best way is to start with the first trilogy in the mortal instruments series, then read the infernal devices, then the second trilogy of the mortal instruments, then the tales of shadowhunter academy, then the dark artifices trilogy. There are other books in the Shadowhunter chronicles like the codex and bane chronicles but i think you can read them whenever. I hope that way helpful and you enjoy the series if you do decide to read it! 😁

@@Yee-xp8bf I honestly couldn't pick a favourite! I've also heard people mention that the series gets flack but I've never encountered anyone explaining what about it people don't like. I'll have to look into it. I have had friends who didn't enjoy city of bones and so didn't continue with the series but I once read that 3 times in a row so I completely disagree 😂 i would recommend reading to the first 2/3 books just to get a feel for it and see if you like it 😊
I really want to read the Percy Jackson series so I think I just might, because I read the first book as a requirement in school but now that I’m older I want to reread it and read the whole series bc; my close friend recommends it. i also want to try out reading the divergent series.
