CORNWALL 2024 FAMILY HOLIDAY UK | EDEN PROJECT WITH KIDS

We took a family holiday to Port Isaac in Northern Cornwall during the recent half term. The accommodation was completely free because Matt gets a week free each year through his work!
We really enjoyed having a week away as a family and explored lots of the local areas. We loved Polzeath beach and getting the ferry from Rock to Padstow was so much fun. The kids are just so happy by the sea!
We spent a day at the Eden Project; I was a little apprehensive because I'd read a lot of reviews saying not to go with young children but I honestly had the opposite experience! There was loads the do, I think we spent around 6 hours there and if the kids weren't so tired we could have spent longer.
If you go with little one like ours I would say to bring a pushchair/trike or something similar as there is a lot of walking involved. I would recommend a spare change of clothes as there is a park with loads of water play. The domes are REALLY hot so definitely wear layers that are easy to remove!
We also used our Tesco clubcard points for the Eden Project so this was free as well!
Another great thing about Cornwall was the camel trail - miles of cycle way that's uninterrupted by vehicles so makes it really safe for children. We hired bikes locally and spent a morning on the trail and would recommend this of you're in the area.

Where is the water park for kids is the Eden Project? Thanks for the video!

there is a playground called ‘natures playground’ and if you go towards the back of the playground kind of round the building there’s lots of water play 😊 there’s a giant cloud that can ‘make rain’ and lots of little water dams and little ponds. that’s okay, hope you enjoy the eden project!
