I have had sling orange and blue since early 2023 and have no plans on cancelling. I live where I can get Fox and NBC, meaning I can watch extra sports games and local news. And I'm okay with not getting every single game. So it's been close to a no-brainer to stay with sling.
UA-cam TV has really been my GOTO when it comes to watching TV. I think I’m spending around 70 something but it’s not like really high 70s and I love it. It’s part of the fire stick. I got from a family friend from Easter of 2022(has UA-cam as well and as I mentioned in your other video), when it comes to streaming, I’ve been with Disney and Hulu(now that they are together) since early 2024 when they merge together. I’m currently spending $20 a month for the bundle(because screw ads DUH lol). For the foreseeable future, I will be with all three of them(so UA-cam TV, Disney and Hulu Edit: as a sidenote, I have tried Hulu live TV for a month to try out and it was nothing but laggy on some channels and buffering at times.
I just want to make everyone aware that have Spectrum, they raised the FCC $22.00 charge for locals to $23.20. Idk if it was FCC or Spectrum, either way, the price went up. 🙏
Direct TV stream is my go to even though it's still battling Mission Broadcasting. Xfinity Racing is moving to the CW next year and I do have the CW app just in case.
We have had Sling TV since they came out. We went to UA-cam and Fubo, but cancelled and went back to Sling. I hate that we can only watch ESPN on one channel. I loved the Broadway on Demand channel and they dropped that. I would go back to UA-cam, but they don’t have the History channel. It’s crazy. We went from three streaming platforms to seven or eight. Have a great evening. ❤❤❤❤
Michael....prices aside who do you think has the best or clearest picture of the cable like services? I thought they were probably all about the same until I tried the one I'm currently using.
It’s hard to say. Some networks only provide 720p, so that will be the case across all services - not just one. YTTV has been improving its PQ with 1080p Enhanced for some channels. Some services offer 4K for limited programming and others don’t. Over the years, I would say Hulu Live’s picture has given me the most problems. I haven’t used that service in a while though.
SO ANNOYING !!! - UA-camTV used to be great. Trying to watch a live show, it keeps going back to when you first hit that channel, even 4 hours ago. This morning I tried to watch a 1.5 hour show, but had to re-click Lve and the channel over 50 times!! The DVR’s usually work better, but sometimes shows aren’t saved, for some reason.
Well I just got an email that my Directv fee is going up $11.99/m. WTH. All the service is is a rerun factory. I will be calling Monday to complain. If they don’t reduce my fee I am bailing. I am done with these companies. The content is horrendous. Nothing but reruns. I mainly watch sports. I will figure out how to get the content I want.
Consider this, $113 a month. and half of what you are going to watch is advertising. Tv was free long ago. Than cable came starting at $8 Now its well over $100. profits are about 300%

I had direct tv stream and their service is awful. Their prices are out of control and so damn expensive plus they don't carry local sports so why signup with them. I dropped them in a heartbeat. If you want to watch local sports then don't sign up with direct tv stream. Avoid Direct TV Stream people.
Which stream services offers BEST video/audio quality??? Direct TV and UA-cam TV seem the same, not 1080p or 4k, anyone offer better than either one of these?
I’m a little confused. It depends on the network, but many YTTV networks are in 1080p. Same for DTV Stream. 4K is limited, but they both offer 4K when the networks put out content in 4K.
@MichaelSaves ah. I have fiber internet so speeds are great and it's a Sony 4k great TV. My direct tv stream just isn't as clear as regular satellite used to be. 1080p is a stretch. No way every channel is 1080p
