Don't forget that Tyr already knows who Kratos is because when Kratos and Atreus went to his temple, Kratos saw a vase with himself drawn on it. So Tyr took the vase from the Greeks and is probably aware of who Kratos is and what he did

@@KaptainKuba This is my theory about GoW: Ragrarok, that everything happened in the Norse myth is actually binded in a time loop (that proly Odin caused to avoid his death), that Ragnarok - The White Frost is gonna be the end, and in the end of Ragnarok, the White Light is also the beginning of a new cycle, where everything are born anew. The "prophercy" is just a record of people from the previous cycle to the next, as well as the World Serpent isn't comming from the future, but from the past cycle to the next.
The appearance of Kratos from a different pantheon with powers and determination will break the cycle and let time flows normal again in the Norse realms. In the previous cycles, Layfey would bore a son with another man other than Kratos, name him Loki, who would grow strong, then give birth to Jomungandur, and kill Baldur to start Ragnarok. But in this cycle, Laufey met and fell in love with Kratos instead and gave birth to Atreus and the two is the variables.
That will also explains why the jotuns in Jotunheim are all dead despite due to different flow of time, little time passed there compared to decades in Midgard after their departure with Laufey. Bcause the Jotunheim tower was stored in the realm between realms, which is outside of the time cycle, it inevitably led them to Jotunheim in one of the previous cycle instead of the current one. That also explains the appearance of Angroboda, a jotun in the next game, that she would actually come from the current cycle's Jotunheim which is actully still prosperous.

If I was to give my honest opinion. That sounds like a very interesting theory and it is plausible. The device has orange and blue orbs. And in relation to the primordial creative essence you find yourself at Ginnungagap. This was the steam/mist formed when the realm of fire melted the realm of ice. In other words orange for fire and blue for ice. The steam/mist that made Ymir. As we know Ymir was used to created the realms.

Then Atreus(Loki) could become the new Leader or King of the Jotun in a place where Odin feels less threatened by them. Plus Loki could rule the new Pantheon in Greece while Kratos takes on the role of Tyr and travel to a new world as a messenger as he as grown older, wiser, and less of an instigator yet still strong. Tyr does the ascension like Athena.

I think you are on to something man. I 100% agree that maybe Tyr did travel to Greece after Kratos left it in ruin. This is a small thing to mention but to add more to your reasoning all you have to do is compare the greek figures to the Norse ones. They look sick: their skin seems to be sort of green and their postures are hunched over as if they don't have the energy to stand. It could be a reference to the death of Hermes and the release of the plague! Great video Kuba

I like to think that Demeter and Hestia ruled what remained of Olympus as the two last olympians alive and then they moved on when their humans stopped to worship them. Despite never appeared ingame, Demeter and Hestia exist in GoW universe, they just never confronted Kratos not even to protect Zeus. It's pretty obvius with Demeter because she's Persephone's mother and make a cameo as pedestals in her daughter's temple. As for Hestia she's only mentioned in the GoW II novelization.

There's also a concept art of her that was to appear in the multiplayer mode of GoW Ascension but was cut in the end. I think they're still alive and never took revenge on Kratos for what he did for unknown reasons.

I totally agree with the creative essence idea
I believe that when the final boss in Ragnarok is killed, tyr would send kratos and atrues to the greek Pantheon to restore it, however kratos would stay there to witness the stability of greek Pantheon while atrues would return to his homeland to make sure it's properly restored.
Aaaaand maybe, in the end of the game we would see a cinematic video in which young age atrues comes to his father asking for help against new gods who are willing to steal the creative essence and that would be an opening for the next part of the game (after Ragnarok)

I think it’d be cool if when we went to Greece we could see a Greece where the mortals have taken charge of their own destiny without the oppression of and reliance on the Olympian gods, allowing them to focus on scientific advancement rather than worshipping of deities. Perhaps because of that when we visit Greece the Greek civilisation has advanced to a point maybe even being 100-200 years off of modern day standards.

Zeus (also called Dias, or Zeu Pater) just had the meaning of sky father originally, hospitality has nothing to do with his name.
I'm not sure where you got this information but hospitable in Greek (both Ancient and Modern) is "philoxenos" (literally lover of strangers), there's no such word as "diazeus" I can find anywhere.

I saw your video about what the dwarves did to mimir and i thought maybe they measured him or use that measurement for somehow for realm travel, because in the trailer there were no bifrost. Also since they are giants in the next game maybe there will be the dwarves shop and giants shop and giants will teach you or give you creative essence that tyr used for unity stone.

1 - A 'pantheon' is the collection of gods and other long-lived beings of mystic bent; the realm is all of that plus the mortals and lands.
2 - My theory is that the devastation Kratos unleashed created the modern map of Greece.
3 - Maybe Tyr's gift sped up a natural process of healing; absent the gods, the sun and the waters might behave more like what we understand now.

One teensy thing, tho... What exactly do you mean when you say "pantheon"? If the Greeks are more focused on technology after the events of GOW 3, I'd find it weird if they needed the actual gods themselves restored... 😅

I do wonder if it’s going to turn out that the Jotnar are in fact the main antagonists in the story and the Aesir are trying to save the world from them.
Faye knew who Kratos was and what he did and manipulated him in an attempt to bring down the Norse pantheon and they’ll find out through Thor when he comes to visit them.
Would be an interesting plot twist but the Jotnar were considered the villain in original mythology and it would turn it back round again.

I have a kinda weird theory about new Greece. What if kratos is seen as a kind of savior. Yes he brought about numerous calamities but what if someone told them what he'd done, how he'd freed them from predestination and that the reason the calamities occurred was because he took out the gods, giving them freedom to build their new world.

Possible theory: I know that I said that Tyr may gave the Greek pantheon some sort of key, but here's my theories
First: I think Tyr gave them a map of the universe so they can use them if the Greece's distraction happens again
Second: It's maybe something that Odin really wants and so Tyr hide it in the Greek pantheon
(That's my best theories, sorry IYI)
