Bendiciones hoy mañana y siempre. La música esta bien pero los comentarios me matan, no entiendo nada. En la televisión todo es en kasajo.

My Western ear finds Chinese Opera incredibly sharp, but Dimash was able to marry his voice with Li Yugang's to create a masterful duet that resonated sublimely.
And that set design was just something else again.
Agree I appreciate good vocals n music's but it's definitely an acquired taste and is very sharp to the ear.... let's face it we are here for Dimash but I'm trying to appreciate it
Mr Li Yugang is a famous traditional Chinese Opera singer who specializes in female roles called 'nan dan'. He is no stranger to performing in huge arenas and stadiums in China. Off stage he speaks as any man.
Li Yugang is a famous singer in the traditional Peking Opera where he sings the female parts. This is the best blending of voices! Li Yugang is singing the part of the concubine & Dimash is the Emperor that is going to sentence her to death. She reminds him of the wonderful time that they had when drunk and he remembers and wishes that he could get drunk with her again! (or something along those lines! :D)
traditionally NO females were allowed to perform, so all characters were played/sung etc by male, the category that Li belongs to is called "Nan Dan" 男旦~ but they r getting rarer as of course it is more difficult to train ^^
abit off topic but i highly recommend the movie 'farewell my concubine' (different concubine lol) but a brilliant movie with alot of Peking Opera :) also shows how they used to train (they usually train since they are like 5) but this is a different concubine lol~

They present us by way of dialogue, the tragic love story between a famous Concubine (represented by Li Yu Gang) of the Chinese imperial court and the emperor (represented by Dimash) for that reason the two thrones in the
stage. In the story (not in the video) The Concubine dies poisoned as a result of the intrigues of enemies in the imperial court. In the presentation, the song is divided into two parts alternating with Diva Dance. to finally retake Drunken Concubine listening to the sad song of the Concubine and the emperor. Love your intro. Li is from classical Chinese opera, where women are not allowed, so a man has to sing women's part. Those singers are rare in China. Dimash always tunes in with another singer, no matter how they sing. It also a big talent not to stick out, but blend in. And do not worry, you are doing great and will get your 100K soon.
