Glad to see both flail and digger are working well together 👍

Yeah had a week off it before last week, does well burns a lot more fuel than digging tho.
Blew a hose on the last day like 😒 two new aux hoses on the digger so will be sorted now.

It certainly does , not as much HP as a tractor hedge cutter but recovers speed faster and mulches branches better as you can feed them in gently .

Hey man! Hope you are doing well! We must really think alike, because first we bought the same machine, and now looking for a flail, I found this ls3 800 from robotrack.. is this the flail you are using? would you rexommend something over it for the price? Thanks for advising me on the mavhine when I was abot to buy it before! Love it! God bless tou

Cheer's my flail is an ls3 600 if im not mistaken the ls3 is the heavier built model so the one to go for doing mulching.
i prefer the 600 (narrower cut ) as it spins back up to speed faster again for heavier work id say its faster than a wider cut that takes longer to recover the RPM,s

@@bengoddard6898 aaa thanks so much for clarifying that.. how heavy is your unit? do you think a unit weight of 250kg would be too much for this machine to handle without beeing too tippy?

Hows tricks ben .. great video .. im really on two minds weither to get the flail mulcher .. i have the same machine as your self .. and wonder are they tough on tb125

      Cheer's
IMO the old girl handles it great have had it out for longer periods and hydraulics don't seem to get much hotter than normal, it does run best flat out and the machine always has priority over the flail so if you track fast or do multiple other functions the head looses flow this way you can always lift the head out of wire / stones and other trouble.
I prefer this to some where you would have to switch the flail off to track/lift up ect ,
My flail is only 600mm cut which with the heavier hedge cutting flails is good for brash and mulching ect a wider cut would suit grass and lighter material but it might struggle in heavy going also the small cut width keeps it light so i have no issues with machine tipping even on steep hills.
last point the electric controls for the aux make it very easy to wire up for continues flow which is a must as holding the A aux button down all day isn't really practical,
I started with an extra switch shown in first vid i but have just recently put some extra switches into the top of the joystick as there is room on the circuit board to solder some more in place, so I've no loose wires in the cab anymore.
i could do a vid on that at some point.
I think the Takeuchi's are well sorted hydraulics wise , i got on a Volvo 14 tonner the other day and was surprised to find it couldn't track and move the arm as well as the little TB125 can 🤷‍♂️ .
Bit long winded but that's my thoughts.

Yea there is surprisely a great reach in the takeuchi and good power .. but lads seem to put me off getting one as they say it will destroy or ruin the pump .. but the mulcher on a digger like our is so nibble compare to the tractor hedge cutter ha nd a fraction of the price for a good one .. loved the idea with the extra switch .. you found a way to put a C aux button in the cab ? .. id love an extra connect point as i could use the thumb with it without disconnecting it

@@jamesc6702 its in a different league to a tractor hedge cutter for clearing not having to work along side is the best no good for proper farm hedges tho , i find it easier to put big stuff through as you have more control with the digger.
don't see why it would knack the pump unless there's already metal filings in the oil by then its probly done anyway.
If your serious about getting one I'd suggest changing the hyd oil first if you've not done recently and take the suction strainer out of the bottom of the tank bit of a job, i did mine and found no muck worth it for knowing its all in good order new oil and i know I've not to worry about it.
I had heard it wears the oil out quicker due to higher heat but i guess time will tell, i do keep the oil cooler cleaned out regular like .
yeah i put 2 extra ones in "latching switches" and linked to A and B so can have continues flow on both , i plan on adding one to the other joystick for a 12v feed to run a diverter valve to get 4 aux's for a rotor grab if i get one will need a latching relay to do it.
There's a screw under the top of the stick to remove it i found it out as my decel button didn't work as the switches had got wet at some point.
il do a quick vid when i get chance.

@@jamesc6702 one step ahead then , no problem keep them coming ,
i will do at some stage she's let me down today track motor gone bad leaking gear oil and seems to have a lot of play in the planetary gears now will be a big bill for a new one , probly put off a rotator grab for a while😒
