- In this video Ed looks at a series of drills you can do at home to improve your handeye coordination.
Having good handeye coordination is a critical part of all sport, particularly cricket, because we use our eyes to direct attention and our hands to execute the task. It all revolves around the ball, and our ability to catch it, bowl it, throw it, and hit it.
Improving your handeye coordination will undoubtedly make you a better cricketer, and is a big focus for all elite players.
We'd love to hear how you get on and see your efforts to do these drills. Remember to comment below or tag us on social media with your effort @informcricket, as well as subscribing to our channel.
Great stuff. I love your Instagram page as well.
Glad to see you on UA-cam 😁
Awesome! Thank you!
Absolutely love this page on Instagram as well and following this here as well.
Are there any drills for 1)footwork and 2)reading the length of ball early
Nihal Singh Rao thanks for the suggestions, we’ll see when we can add this content in over the coming weeks
Good job mate..! How long should we be doing it to see variable results
You can never do enough hand eye and reaction training! I find after several hours over a couple of weeks, you'll start to see a difference. But like anything, if it is too easy, try and make it harder to challenge yourself, close one eye, introduce different coloured balls, make sure you mix it up. Good luck
can u make a video on how to improve head position and how to play with stable head...
Have added this to our list of content, thank you for the suggestion!
Thank you, very useful but can u show the next steps ie the bowling motion, I’m struggling to put it what I’ve practiced into the bowling motion
What element are you struggling with in regards to the bowling motion?
@@InFormCricket I can do the movement in front but can’t seem to pit my hand in the correct position when rotating my arm
