Hey man, I know this video is a year old but I am doing the same thing with my 1992 MR2 project! First time doing a brake overhaul as well, rebuilding just as you have. So far after putting everything back together I am getting leaks from the piston on the rears! Not sure if I have fitted the inner seal correctly - but everything looked good at the time. Learning as I go is just as rewarding as it is painful. Its nice to have finally found a video of someone documenting the rebuild as a new experience to them! gives me confidence for when I take the calipers back off the car and try again!
Glad the video helped! Yes this was my first project car ever and I jumped in with no mechanical experience. If they give you issues then I recommend buying the rears new from rock auto. That where I got mine
There's other methods on pulling them out. Vice grip is what I used, but you can also use the brake fluid too. You pull the caliper off with the hose attached and press on the brakes. That will force the cylinder out. You will lose brake fluid either way since you draining the system

Appreciate the video, have one that’s locked up real bad
Glad the video helped. The front ones didn’t even engage at all but after the rebuild they work like new again.
Hi, what’s the correct way to remove the cylinder things from the calliper?
