Yes even to relax almost... I don't get it, I just don't... and he's hitting hard on the drum and he doesn't look out of breath at all. Those blast beat guys are creazy athlete
@Yugo Lago He’s using push pull (still very hard to do at that speed) which helps with staying relaxed and controlled. My guess is at that time his peak hand speed was like 320-330 bpm.
How can Francesco resist one entiere concert playing so fast? I play percussion and I still keep my mouth open when I see this awesome drummer. OMG!!! :-O
probably 1000, even tho he's very efficient and has a really good technique, the mind power and physical demand is still big, usually metal drummers burn between 600 and 700 per hour
I agree....when he blasts with his right hand on the snare, not only is it curved and twisted looking, but it does look like it's harder for him than when he's blasting on the snare with his left hand. Of course, the results are the same....he gets the job done! He just looks more relaxed with a left hand blast. In fact he almost closes his eyes, each time, when he does! LOL
He looks so damned relaxed!!!

Can anyone estimate how many calories Mr Paoli burns in one concert?

Ale6Creations very very true.

FINALLY THE OFFICIAL
blasting with right hand :D \m/
+virman susilo So? I mean I love this and he is insane but why does "blasting with the right hand" mean anything?
SylosisDark I think he means that most drummers blast beat with their left hand but he's using his right hand to blast
@@Godthissucksss He' s using different types of blast beat
Well really he's blasting with both hands but my favorite part is when he's blasting the cymbal
@@paoloscattone856 wanna elaborate?
I seriously CANNOT stop looking at his face!

F I E R C E
francesco "the octopus" paoli
Funny thing is, it only took him about a year to learn how to drum like this. It's insane.

off topic: who else was amused by their synchronized turn around 5 seconds in?
It's fun, but takes tons of time and dedication to get to this degree of skill
Holy shit that escalated quickly!
yep
Wow - the drummer keeps busy in this band !
When Francesco looks at the camera at 00:29, it seems like "Ooops i missed a beat, hope nobody noticed. Ah crap, there's a camera!"

I don't really see how that's a bad thing. More drummers of this magnitude is a good thing.
