My mom didn’t have a negative reaction, but I did. Now that I am out I feel extremely depressed and sick both mentally and physically. I have fallen into a state of depression and am unable to go to school even though my mom tries to force me. She says that I am okay, but I know that if she knew how I felt she would let me stay home. I have tried to make her get professional help for me, but I feel like it won’t help and that it will. I just want this to be done with. I though I was depressed before I came out, but I was just at the beginning. I thought I was depressed at first because I lost my best friend, which I now realize is the love of my life. That is the reason, but now that I am out I know for sure that I am depressed, but my mom doesn’t think so. I want her to change her mind. I haven’t gone to school since I came out, which was two days ago. I don’t think I can handle the stress of school and depression. I will be forced to put on smiling face, try to not cry, and try to learn. It is the hardest thing I have ever gone through and I know no one with the same experience. I want someone to help, but I know no one.
Reese Anderson and Company hey it’s fine if you’re not going to school. We all need a break. But I know i don’t know you but I know you can get threw this. If you ever need someone to talk to, you can always call hotlines that are available 24/7. But treat yourself you deserve it, even if just your favorite candy. And sit your mom down and explain as much as you can to her, or any adult you know.
Awww... U know I have a story too... I met someone at the new school I was in.. We we're friends at first but then suddenly.. I did an act that made him realise/know that I was gay lol but I wasn't vert shocked at first but then he told my BFF to get away from me.. like LoL he's my BFF and you want him to get away from me? It actually made me laugh at first but then I kinda got offended by it even tho I was still smiling after the act. But then we actually became close like really close friends... his 1 of my BFF's now.... which actually made me realize that... homophobic people can change... all we need are people that back us up(straight people; bc gay people that group together aren't convincing to them bc, for obvious reasons) my BFF is straight he knows I'm gay but he doesn't give a Fck and I love him for that.My Point is people can change all we need are people that love and support us not just people from the LGBT community but all the diff. Kinds of people... that's what's gonna give them a good shove to be convinced in my Experience at least.
I'm severely depressed and I go to school everyday, I have to deal with crying in front of my classmates and people constantly bugging me asking me if I'm okay, but I don't have a choice. Depression is not a reason to stay out of school, deal with it.

I went away for a week and my mum went through one of my old drawing books and found a coming out letter I never delivered. I was so mad when I found out what she had done, I definitely wasn't ready for it. Luckily, she didn't react as badly as what happened in this (very, very lucky, my heart goes out to everyone who has experienced this) but she acted like she didn't really believe me and I was really upset.

I really liked the mom’s performance? Her reactions are very believable, and emotional when she needs to be.
My one criticism could be tone; setting a palette for your film is really important for conveying emotion. The saturation and colour of a scene could really effect how it feels. Like if it’s a happy scene, you could go for something vibrant. Or if it’s a sad scene, you could make it almost completely grey, or even blue, if you feel like it! Pick the colours that match the feeling of the scene.

its looks as though she has failed as a mother. by throwing out the daughter she has show no compassion or motherly love. also she may be a bit envious of the daughter as she is being who she is and not giving in to the social norms as her mother did and being fake in her life and love. the parent to tries to under stand has succeeded at parenting . this video shows a major failure as a parent throwing the kid out.

If i ever burst out of anger and tell my mom that i am bisexual and genderfluid i know that she'll throw me out of house. She's so religious and i am not even religious. I have a sister but i know she'll stay on my mother's side. I want to tell them and be free, but i am scared to not being able to see them or talk to them. I absolutely don't know what to do.

I'm out to my mother as bi and 2 friends and my crush came out to me so I came out to her and a friend of my mother's who's very nice to me. All are OK with it. If I told my dad, I'd be beaten and thrown out. Just proof that there are loads of people who'll be OK with it.

This film reminded me of the time I was kicked out when I told my parents I was bisexual and had a girlfriend. I'm only 17 years old and didn't know where to go, I had no other family that was close. I remember calling my girlfriend late at night, telling her I was homeless and had no where to go. She ask her dad if I could move in. Now, I'm healthy, happy and I get to live with my girlfriend and soon be celebrating our 1 year anniversary❤
