Lucky, I wanna happen upon you recording some day. To this day I wish to live in Sharps after dating someone from there. It was a nice area that held small fests during the summer. Such a nice small area. I loved it. I loved the small shopping area too.
Dope. I'm from Philly and your documentations of Pittsburgh are fascinating to me. Always been curious about the city always comparing and contrasting and what I've found the most intriguing is how old the neighborhoods look and how the citizens still take pride in the original neighborhood names. Philly has a few old looking areas but they are old from either a poor or rich aesthetic. For a big city Pittsburgh neighborhoods have a very rural gritty almost Boston like feel to them. I'd love to visit.
I grew up in Sharpsburg in the 80s and it was a great little town. My parents still live there. I ended up buying a house two doors down from my parents after I got married but the reason I moved out is the parking sucked.
Like Wilkinsburg and Dormont, Sharpsburg is not a neighborhood of Pittsburgh. They are their own municipalities. If you can't get that correct, can you be trusted with any other information? I think not.
Dean Bog Yeah! There’s a lot going on in Bellevue all of a sudden. We have a new brewery on Lincoln Ave that’s run by a local family and is doing really well (they have amazing homemade pretzels). There’s some really cool trails at the Bellevue Memorial Park along with a dog park. A solid diner option called the Dairy Villa on the ave. A restaurant called Revival that’s relatively new, it used to be a funeral home and then a seasonal haunted house for a few years until the building really started falling apart, the new owners (The King family) really did a great job fixing it up. Our haunted library is always fun to spend some time in and the surrounding park finally got some much needed upgrades. TheThe houses in Bellevue, like most Pittsburgh neighborhoods have so many different types of architecture to admire. A few very pretty churches and we even have a small set of city steps that connect Forest Ave. and Summit Ave., they’re not very impressive but they’re still charming. (Worth mentioning that theres a really old graveyard at the end of the street at the top of those steps)
When you went in the municipal building you legally do not have to turn off your camera, it is a public building and there is no expectation of privacy in public, hold people like that accountable. The constitution trumps local policy.
Damn thats intense. I try to be polite with the camera, so I was happy to oblige his request. Thats sort of what the whole issue was about. People being comfortable/uncomfortable with cameras.

Fellow awall resident 👋🏼
I'm so glad he didn't take little Jordan home with him...Jordan looks like he might have gone someone better call Jordan's mommy and tell her to keep an eye out for a guy with blonde hair and a ponytail
Yes! New video! 🙌🏼
great stuff as usual
I grew up in Sharpsburg in the 80s and it was a great little town. My parents still live there. I ended up buying a house two doors down from my parents after I got married but the reason I moved out is the parking sucked.
Amazing!!!!!
Like Wilkinsburg and Dormont, Sharpsburg is not a neighborhood of Pittsburgh. They are their own municipalities. If you can't get that correct, can you be trusted with any other information? I think not.
Do Bellevue
What going on in Bellevue?
The strip district would be cool. I'm from ct. But have fallen in love with pittsburgh. Keep up the great work.
Love sharpsburg. What's up with that cop? Seriously! You weren't even on camera dude. Calm down!
I can understand why he didnt wanna be filmed. I sort of barged into their office with a camera. He was a nice guy.
2 Rivers in the world flow North..the Monongahela & the Nile
If this is true I am very excited about it.
Sadly this is very untrue.
Well. Your right and your wrong. It does flow northern. But there are also many other rivers which do as well. Not just the Nile
The Red River of the North - the one that flows through Fargo ND and floods Grand Forks - flows north into Lake Winnipeg in Canada.
