But I just don't like all of the bashing relaxed haired girls get just bc they relax their hair. Just bc you relax your hair or wear weaves doesn't mean you don't love yourself. I was so scared to get my first weave bc I didn't want anyone thinking I didn't love my hair...but I wanted to give my hair a break and still look bomb asf 😻 lol so I got a weave, and there's nothing wrong with that. Just love yourself girls, no matter what race you are you are all beautiful 💘

so i went to get a blowout and the stylist said she was trimmimg my ends and i washed my hair today and saw no straight ends so she big chopped my hair without me even realizing
It looks great girl yes! Im currently 18 months posts and i have a lot of heat damage on my front but its worth it honestly i love my natural hair i regret getting a relaxer even though it was my moms choice anyway🙄

Loving your hair and the color. When I big chopped a year and two months ago ( after transitioning for 17 months) it has been the best for me too. I been going almost three years and no heat. I love to hear women who big chopped, especially when their journey has consist of no heat. I plan to flat iron but probably in another year. That's the itch I will love to overcome but I keep watching all the natural curly to flat iron hair videos. Anyway, keep up the great work.

+Lazy Lohan your curl texture changes every 6 months and your curl pattern changes every 5-7 inches this is why cur.s look different sometimes define than when it first start growing also keep in my everyone's hair is different healthy hair is always beautiful

LifeWithNae yes. it's crazy but cutting your hair makes it grow way faster. For a year i didn't want to cut off my relaxed ends and i only got about 2 inches of growth. Last summer i cut off the relaxed ends and now i grew 5 inches of hair. And in May i cut off the dead hair from straightening my weave leave out so much and the hair has already grown back to it's length before i cut the hair.

chop it girl. deep condition and braid it up and get protective styles. you'll notice the difference in the health of your hair and how much faster it grows.
