I can’t believe she was 23 when doing X factor, she always seemed so much more mature and wise beyond her years but being so young it makes sense now as to how much she was struggling with life stuff at that time. She seems in a really good place now :)
I've adored Tulisa since the beginning of N-Dubz, I remember when she was a judge on X Factor and the public would literally rip her apart EVERY week, more than any other judge on that show. Also hearing that one of the producers told her to 'take it as it comes' about the sex tape, and given what we know about revenge p*rn nowadays, I WISH someone would have helped protect that from happening to her, that would straight up be a cease and desist, and the fact her ex apparently got a house out of that is absolutely disgusting. This girl's been through a lot and come out a million times stronger, I just hope the trolls on twitter keep it at bay when she goes on I'm a Celeb later this month...
So much respect for Tulisa. Brilliantly revealing (in a good way) interview. How she has overcome the trauma that those many past situations will have delivered is beyond comprehension because it clearly takes much strength and resilience. Fair play.
It's so nice to hear someone's experience with bells palsy, I've had it for nearly a year now and there's so little research about it and what causes it so it is quite stressful to go through so its so refreshing to hear someone speak publicly about it and their journey with it! great interview
I agree. Bell’s palsy severely damaged my dad’s mental health and self esteem. I’m always lifting him up, he’s amazing inside and out. Proud daughter of a Bell’s palsy victim ❤
I had Bells Palsy as an 18 years old for 6 months....I did fully recover but used 'chewing gum' I know it sounds mad but my GP said he recommended it to others. It just kept all the muscles moving it can't hurt. Hope all goes well with you. My boss at the time said I'd caught it sitting in a draft! xx
I had it back in March and I was so scared. 🤞🏻 Hoping it doesn't happen again because it affected the way I spoke for 6 months so bad nobody understood me. I'm left with a slight lisp and there's nerve damage near my eye. Most wouldn't know I'd had Bell's Palsy
Always liked Tulesa and thought Gary Barlow made a spectacle of himself on the xfactor when he attempted to demoralise her. There was a general trend to pick on her at that time by the likes of him, media etc. She is a clever mature strong articulate young lady and better than the haters. We, the public like her. 😊
What an interesting interview!. I have the upmost respect for Tulisa for being so open with her struggles. She seems super down to earth and wasn’t expecting her to be a fantasy nerd either.
I’ve been a victim of revenge porn for 7 years and Tulisa talking about her experience is so comforting and commendable. I’ve learnt over the years I have nothing to be ashamed of and that the shame is on the people who profit from you, whether that be financially or emotionally. Whilst exposing us they expose themselves. I’d rather be the woman on the screen than the immoral pervert who posted it.
What a woman! Loved this and such a good take. She’s a strong woman and shows the sign of the times her reflection and how women can own it back from whatever shit we go through xx
Well done Tulisa, you should be really proud of how you’ve navigated difficulties in your life. You’re a real inspiration. Wishing you every happiness for the future xxx
Tulisa did amazing. That’s down to you Olivia. Relaxed & kind. The MSM could learn a thing or two. Attacking people will never make them open up, but kindness always wins 🎉
This was AMAZING Liv! 👏🏽 T has always been a real one 💯 she’s been treated so poorly & been through the worst public scrutiny & is now back looking & most importantly feeling better than EVER! 🙌🏽 Also living in the middle of no where, surrounded by fields, is absolutely the place to be girl! 🤣👏🏽 Big love Tulisa darling. I wish you all the peace & happiness in the future. 🤍
This was amazing! Thank you very much for having Tulisa on the show. Was superb to get an insight into the industry. Now, moving forward, I am going to be more mindful of how I speak to others. It's important even though I am not a rude person. Amazing the strength that Tulisa has shown through adversity. She is living out her dream. Like you, Liv, I am delighted for her! 🩵✨️🎙🎧
I love how Tulisa speaks about her life. And the things she has gone through and how she processes it. I wish her all the best. Great interview. I lived In Chester as a little girl and loved it. I can understand why she loves the Cheshire area. I hope you are ok Olivia, you kept rubbing your belly. x
This is far superior to the drab Fern Cotton interview. Tula is a beautiful name. I remember watching a documentary way back about Tulisa and her mums mental health and she recalled a teacher calling her Tula. Now that makes sense. Great interview, well done ladies 👏👏👏👏
Loved this, I recently watched couple documentaries with tulisa too. She's come round full circle. And love her energy. Straight talking. No bs. Great podcast liv.. also this duo is amazing!!!!!! Love these two together
I remember working in cafe de paris and Tuslia and Faser were there. I was a massage therapist in the VIP area at the time. At the end of the night there was so many paps waiting for T out the front so T went out of the back and when I went out the front I covered my face to distract the paps and pretended to be her (as I had the same hair colour) it worked. They ran after me and were disappointed when they saw it wasn't her 😂
Wow what a great conversation between two interesting and powerful women. Tulisa shes amazing very down to earth. Well spoken. Shes beautiful on the inside and the outside. I Iike the way shes happy in her own company. But also likes to be with her friends. Sounds like a very content person.
I really like Tulisa. She seems very genuine, strong yet vulnerable, honest and true to herself. The Sex Tape was awful for her, as if she's been violated, and as others said it's a criminal offence now. She's been through a lot these last few years, but as she said, this is part of her journey in making her the great person she is today. I wish her continued health, happiness and success ❤ xx
Loved this! I read Tulisa’s book when I was younger and while I don’t remember a lot from it (as it was ages ago!) I do remember that she’d been through a lot. This episode has surprised me in a way as I didn’t realise Tulisa would have such a calm energy. As someone who is also beginning to value peace, it’s so lovely to see. Thank you for having her on Liv 🫶. Such a good interviewer xxx
Put this in my watch later yesterday , thought it was going to be about botox if i have tbh, well today my friends i found out i have bell palsy, my nirse three days ago told me i was fine and just run down, had a awful twisted feeling on my ear but i fully accepted i must be run down, even though it was highly unusual a few hours later my tongue went number and the next day my right side of my face dropped, in future you know your body if you cant get the help you needed at your gp surgery, go to the hospital, still yet to watch the video, just thought i had to put this to watch later because im too uncomfortable right now to watch anything my heart goes out to tulisa managing this ❤
I've loved tulisa since day dot all the trolls need to humble themselves and stop judging people ..shes been through so much and only came out stronger she's a great roll model to send a message to not give up this podcast will open alot of people eyes to who tulisa is and that's a queen ❤️ love olivia too her documentarys and podcast are so good ..girl power ✨️🤗✨️
well done tulisa,, you're doing extremely well. You created your own happiness, your own magic, keep being you, i always looked up 2 you, similar experiences, you're looking really well❤❤
There should be a movie based on her life. Who do you think could play her. She has been through so much and yet is still so young. I hope she is genuinely happy now.
The Misha B situation was awful - it was one of many weird things that happened that season. I saw her out and about in Manchester after this had happened when I used to live there, and she had more star power in her little finger than some of her detractors. If you were to ask her now, I wouldn’t be surprised if she told you she felt it was divine intervention in the end. It’s not a very nice world. In an ideal world I really hope she’s still performing for the love of it and not to be famous… the freedom of that must feel immense when you’ve seen the other side of it. Never forgotten Misha! We all know she should have won and was being held back - they decide everything long before the public waste money voting - I truly believe those contracts are allegedly already sitting on a desk long before it goes to a public vote, but that’s just my opinion. She’s one of the only former competitors from all those years ago that I can still clearly remember… she was the whole package from the minute she stepped on their stage and I guess they didn’t like her confidence. It’s very hard to believe her skin tone didn’t also play a part, not so much for U.K. audiences but for the managers looking towards US audiences, where that appears to be way more of an issue than here in Europe. She was robbed, but what else would she have had to have been robbed of to survive in such a cutthroat world? When you look at how things are being revealed lately, it looks like she dodged a bullet to me 🤷🏻♀️. I really hope she’s living her best life and I’m glad she fought back.

Def Leppard’s Rick Savage had Bell’s Palsy for many years, could only speak from one side of his mouth, had trouble eating and sleeping as even his eyelids couldn’t close properly and people would be informed of his condition in case they called an ambulance reporting a stroke. 30 years after his diagnosis, you can still tell he’s had the condition. No inflammation, no cosmetic surgery. I suggest she lied about Bell’s Palsy and used it to justify the cosmetic surgery she never needed.

I think you need to be transparent that cysts and bells palsy can be side effects of fillers!!
Definitely! Especially as there is tons of evidence that filler doesn’t and cannot be fully dissolved.
