I've got a Transit connect with the 1.8 turbo diesel, has the exact same looking coolant reservoir but the coolant in mine doesn't even look like it's liquid. I haven't had it long its at about 116k miles, should I look into getting the coolant changed soon?

Hi does it over heat? Sounds like it's sludge. Maybe give it a flush and put some clean coolant in

Mate what size screwdriver head is that? I need to buy one asap before it gets really cold, I’m guessing 10 - 12mm?
Cant remember to be honest but 12mm should be about right. I have a set of screw drivers so just tried different ones until it was a good fit

The coolant of this car is red, i dont know why in yours looks like water....
He explained at the start the water pump had failed and it just had water in until he could get some coolant
