Donington Park TrackDay - Session 4 - Fast Group - 20/07/2022

A very very hot 40°C Donington Park Trackday in the Fast Group. Got my best lap time around donington today and beat my current record by 1.3 seconds.
Then the Clutch cable snapped which ended the day, but all in all a fantastic day.

thanks Abhi, It was great weather. was very interesting riding in that heat because I found that the tyres where getting so hot they move around more when cornering in a way i haven't experienced before. the clutch cable gave up after session 4 and didn't have a replacement, but the first four sessions were great.

Hi Mr Green! Yes it’s a 2008 Daytona 675, pretty much standard road bike

Hi East London Jon! Great name mate! I am using a GoPro hero 8 black which has GPS built in and that records all the telemetry data with the video. I then use the GoPro files with a piece of software called “telemetry overlay”. You can buy it online for a one off fee. The software then renders the video as well as install the gauges etc.
