The demo man came in, talked to dell, and later the demo man dies. No one else talked to dell except for demo. Jules was killed because Spy was catching on he is a private detective after all. Demo froze to death instead of being shot on the spot implying that who speaks to dell will die. It’s like talking with the devil.

a wee fact about the lore of that phrase, emesis blue is based lightly on a stephen king book where teleportation is viable now, however you need to be unconscious during the teleportation because the time moving between the two spaces is infinitely long to comprehend. that’s why when someone is conscious while being teleported, “it’s eternity in there”
Fun fact: There is a Stephen King book were they use teleporters to get to mars but theirs an issue when teleporting organic humans. The mind is active while it's being teleported and hence it takes way longer so before people are teleported people are put to sleep before they can enter.
