Doctors shouldn't have to fight so hard to prescribe a medication, especially a medication that saves lives.
Ivermectin's patent expired in 1996. There's actually WAS a campaign to NOT use Ivermectin even for it's original intended use as an Anti-Parasitic. This is from 2004: www.who.int/bulletin/volumes/82/8/editorial30804html/en/ from WHO trying to get people to use Ivermectin.

I think doctors prescribe FDA-approved drugs for off-label use quite often. Ivermectin falls in that category. But some doctors are wary of getting sued if they don't stick to the officially approved uses, so they don't even want to think about coloring outside any lines that might be controversial.
Some doctors do not have the balls to read the studies and do things for themselves. Many also do not know how to review information, especially if it contains a lot of information and then cherry picking information becomes a problem, which is driven by bias. This is a problem in itself and leads to fear that they do not know enough to continue. Another reason is that platforms like UA-cam shuts down discussions before ideas could flower or die.

All I know is that on a certain Wednesday I had great trouble breathing, my head was in a fog, and I was coughing terribly. A friend gave me some of his ivermectin prescription, and by Sunday I was breathing normally. Take that for whatever you will.

Great info!... My Mom (72, no pre-existing conditions)...once we got a positive covid19 PCR test result back she took ivermectin 12 mg, each day for 3 days, she’s perfectly fine. Night sweating, little sore throat, loss of taste were the only symptoms she had. Keep in mind, my Mom is an active, not overweight lady that prays everyday, walks everyday, eats healthy, doesn’t drink alcohol, doesn’t smoke and has quality sleep. Thank God!!

Day 3 on ivermectin. I’m amazed at the relief I’ve experienced.
The pharmacy initially gave me a 2 days of a 5 day prescription.
“If you want the remaining 3 days of the prescription we will give it to you or we can refund your money.”
After day 2 I noticed significant improvement. I decided to continue the remaining 3 days because i still have minor symptoms.

Invermectin has a list of serious side effects as long as your arm, and at the doses required to treat COVID (which are higher than authorised) there is increased risk of toxicity. Invermectin is just as capable of making you seriously ill as any of the vaccines, and abandoning these in favour of a treatment which is known to be problematic could be jumping out of the frying pan and straight into the fire. Best wait until the science is clear before jumping to conclusions.

After the shocking news from South Africa that the health minister passed a law making it illegal to use or import ivermectin and UA-cam taking down both your video and one from peak prosperity (that I know about) I have had to sadly come to the conclusion that there is some interference from the drug companies. The only way through now is, as you say, public pressure. Btw a Canadian nursing home had the same results back in April/may and put it in the public domain in hopes it would be followed up. Started a 5 day, 40mg per day treatment when I caught COVID. Before the 5 days were up, it was gone. 10 days later I went back because I was feeling very weak and had burning lungs. I went on a 7 day, 12mg per day treatment. About half way through I was feeling great. I'm 63 and in good health. It's May 21, that was in late March. I feel great, no side effects.. nada.
I'm recently taking it and I think it's great and should be studied more and available to the people without prescription!

here in the Philippines, our so Department of health and FDA is blocking it too. They operate like mobs.
So I work the night before Christmas Eve and I met a gentleman in the ICU suffering from covid. It turned out his daughter is an ER nurse and I've worked with her a lot. I had been hearing a lot about Ivermectin so I told her about it and I sent her a link. When I left Christmas Eve the man was on 80 liters of oxygen at 100%. I just knew he was going to go on a ventilator that day. So I was shocked monday night (4 days later) when I went in and he was only on 6 liters of oxygen. His daughter sent me this text this morning.
"Girl, you were gonna laugh! The night that you sent me that link, I was going to talk to the doctor the next day to ask them to give him that medication and the doctor called me to tell me that they were going to start giving it"

You are correct! Physicians have every right to use this medication “off label” for their patients. I have saved all my covid patients. There has been absolutely no top down leadership for physicians on this matter. Such a disappointment as many lives could have been saved.
I saw a presentation on this topic which showed 4 different molecular biology paths for this substance having likely effect.
1) Interferes with the polymerase enzyme that the viruses use to replicate their RNA and thus make copies of themselves.
2) acts as a mild zinc ionophore to help bring more serum zinc inside a cell membrane than the cell would normally take inside, which the zinc throws a proverbial monkey wrench into RNA virus replication too.
3) raises the pH of the cell's cytoplasm a little bit which also further hampers RNA virus replication
4) blocks importin α/β on the cell's nucleus membrane such that pathogenic proteins released by a virus after it invades the cell's outer membrane ,cannot break inside the nucleus also to corrupt the DNA inside. (Lots of official peer reviewed papers have been published on that exact topic).
These four things together..... well, I'm no molecular biologist /virologist.... just have a lowly BS CompSci degree, but even I can see from the undergrad biology classes I took in school, how this medicine stands a very high probability of being very useful here. And that's not even counting the mountain of observed excellent results that doctors all over the planet have witnessed and written about.

No not sinister - they have literally had to recruit 1000s of moderators and reviewers for all sort of reasons ever since they have been classed as "publishers" by various legal/regulatory l bodies around the world. That makes them potentially legally liable for false information or for particular topics ( e.g. Paedophilia ) on their websites. Think about your average call centre experience in respect to a service/product you actually know about and therefore the quality of the person and knowledge you are dealing with. P.R. Mathews she mentioned that one of their studies used 12mg tablets once per week. Other doctors talk about the importance of including zinc to help the body absorb the ivermectin and a couple of other medications. Sorry, I have forgotten them. Check out Dr. Kory. People have said you can get ivermectin at veterinary clinics.

Information on proper dosage needs to be put out into the public. I have friends who have family members that overdose and got sick on this medication.
