Thanks guys! Trying to learn Intune/Azure with no knowledge besides what they were before watching the series is beyond amazing and helpful!
Really enjoying the series, guys! Intune's support for only TeamViewer is pretty absurd. Quick Assist is built into Windows 10 and works quite well. MS needs to support this in InTunr!
2 years later and Quick Assist is now available as an Intune add on to Intune and it is crazy expensive.
Thanks for the video. I found within my company that the whole process was just a little too over complicated from an Intune\Teamviewer perspective. It was easier just to access for the end users code and connect that way. If the process could be a bit more intuitive then perhaps we'd use it through the portal as shown.
Cheers for the video boys. Please correct me if I misunderstood, but am I right in thinking you can connect to a user's machine that has user privileges and take control with admin privileges and be able to do admin only task?
Thanks , really helpfull... what if teamviewer is already installed on endpoints before this deployment??? will if have any effect to this??
When i click "log in to teamViewer to authorize" I get send to a page where i allow stuff for teamviewer and then on to a Microsoft login portal. I never get to sign into teamviewer. When i try to use my admin account to sign into the Micosoft login page i get told i do not have permission.
I just wanted to know that, Can I connect via team viewer from intune console to any intune mobile device?
Hello,
I'm commenting because I may need your help. I saw the video but when I run New remote assistance session on the target computer I get this message in intune console:
There was a problem using your teamviewer account. Verify your teamviewer license is active and supported for intune
Can you point me out in the right direction? I am not sure what is the cause of this since the Connector of Teamviewer is active and running
Could we use our (As MSP) teamviewer subscription / credentials in our customers Intune environment?
Hello guys, excellent video, it is possible to set the company portal notifications to appear outside the program and for the program to always start in the background.
Thank you
Hey guys, thanks for the vid. Company Portal doesn't work on shared device, and asking end-user to go trough company portal's web page isn't that easy.
Would be better for us if Microsoft includes a built -in quick assist with access to UAC prompt.
Weird how Windows 10 has Quick Assist built in but InTune uses Teamviewer...
Intune not InTune (not saying this to be an asshole, but because I have been doing the same error and see many with us)
Quick Assist would be nice to get into Intune, we should vote for that as a feature
We aren't keen on allowing Teamviewer on desktops as it could potentially allow others into remote computers. How would you handle that conversation with IT Security?
I guess I'd tell them that this is the only supported method to connect to devices from Intune and that they should ensure that it is configured and managed securely. :-)
Teamviewer can be secured with MFA and strong passwords, and you can even disable unattended remote access and switch to user aproved connections. The security related issues that happened a couple years ago were caused by ancient and outdated installs. I know a few IT service companies so cheap that they still use TV v7.
hi guys, one quick question so if steve teamviewer to adam's computer and then decided to logoff, will the teamviewer session be cutoff? or its still going on with this all setup, and steve will be able to login as local admin?
No. Change how you support devices. Having staff comfortable to let people remote onto their device and then walk away is a major security issue.
You also shouldn't have local admins on a Zero trust device.

Thank you for this video. I tried to follow all the steps but i don´t see "TeamViewer Connector" under Devices. Do you know why? Do I have to be a global admin for instance?
Check out the docs for all of the steps required to set it up. You may be missing the connector setup.

@@IntuneTraining Thank you, it helped.
i like the videos. can you do a video on how to remove default modern apps? i don't need al that crap. when i use ltsc i don't have company portal though. i need help on this
If you don’t mind reading and looking at pictures, Paul Winstanley just posted a blog on this if you must remove the built in apps.

I believe Quick Assist which is default with Windows 10 should be the connector and not TeamViewer

Please use QuickAssist instead!!!!! Since 1909 ready to use. Please MS implement QuickAssist into Intune also!
Really hope they do this...
This! ⌛🥰😤
A native Windows 10 toast notification would be better to notify the user...
Why doesn't Intune leverage Windows Remote Desktop. This is costly and overly complicated. WTF Microsoft.
probably because RDP will kick the current user out of the computer during troubleshooting?
Referring to packaging the application - is that just following the same instructions in your earlier video regarding Publishing Win32 Apps?

It’s been a while. What’s the time stamp you’re referring to?
