That was my exact point for why a fight with Heisei Godzilla wouldn't have legendary godzilla even close to winning. Heisei Godzilla has easily fought all day and night, while only getting stronger, where legendary Godzilla gets weaker as the fight goes on.

yeah I did notice that when I rewatched it, I also said thaat I didn't watch godzilla minus one yet so I don't know, I was just guessing because of his size. Similar to if I didn't know anything about Heisei Godzilla I would say I don't know but because of the size difference Godzilla earth would probably win. Edit from 6/19/2024: Also Heisei Godzilla has shown in the films to fight and outmatch much larger monsters that are stronger and more powerful than himself. So It's not bias, it's just going by what the films show, and since from what I had seen at the time Godzilla minus one didn't look that powerful in the trailers.

Godzilla Earth can break apart Void Ghidorah’s avatar with his sheer physical strength, and no, Void wasn’t weaker when Earth did that, he was only deprived of his intangibility had given my Metphis’ eyes. Void Ghidorah, even when deprived of intangibility, was still holding and lifting Godzilla via supergravity, which is an 11D attack (high complex multiversal). Void’s avatar’s durabilty should scale to that as he was still exerting the supergravity on GE, until GE used is plasma cutter to break free. Being able to physically tear apart an 11D entity is enough physical strength to stomp Heisei Goji. Also, Earth is far from slow. Sure, his traveling speed sucks, but his combat and reaction speeds are actually good. He can catch and hold Void Ghidorah’s heads with his arms, when these heads can move and react at relativistic speeds (as Ghidorah’s « weakened » avatar reacts to the atomic breath by catching it into its mouth before getting pulled back into the black hole). Speaking of which, Super gravity more commonly is a 4D concept that can POTENTIALLY be 11D if you interpret it in a certain way. Soooo Yeah Heisei still slams via him obliterating Space Godzilla who if we use your interpretation of Super gravity, Space Godzilla would then be 11D as well. Which even without that high end interpretation of super gravity, Heisei still has consistent 6D scaling which is much higher than earths without said interpretation.
Well that's not entirely right, Heisei Godzilla melted down due to him producing too much fission. And in that state getting more power would actually correct the imbalance. Which is why he went after a nuclear power plant. But after the nuclear fission was corrected the damage was done, with heisei godzilla's internal power reactor breaking apart.
I love this vid ngl. Its a simple approach to the matchups and i love how you showed the size comparisons. Although i feel Shins durability is downplayed because he was no diffing many bombs and missiles in the day, his back was a weakspot and those were bunker bombs which are much stronger than normal missiles
Thanks, I wanted to try out some new styles such as the moving background, and pictures of the godzillas next to each other. I feel like seeing them in their own worlds is one thing compared to when they are face to face. Also I did give shin godzilla a pretty good chance, saying that he could have gotten stronger after the missiles hit him. Butt also to be fair the superx2 had huge missiles that didn't really even affect Godzilla 1989 that much.
Impressive video. While I haven't done the research or know the exact stats, don't you think this is a little too much in Heisei's favor? I won't deny he's definitely one of the strongest Godzillas we have, but this does seem like this video automatically geared Heisei to be the victor, even though he struggles with some of the other Godzillas. Thanks, well that's a hard thing to say exactly. If you were to ask people who talk about power scaling they would probably say Heisei Godzilla defeats everyone except earth in one atomic breath, while godzilla earth would be a little harder. For this video I wanted to take what I knew of Heisei Godzilla from the films themselves and not so much from outside statements. As well as the other Godzillas. But there are other examples of Heisei Godzilla's strength that I didn't mention because I thought it would make things more complicated, such as Godzilla being able to slam battra on the ground so hard it split open the earth. SpaceGodzilla is also one of the most overpowered monsters even going just by the film. From some estimations I did a few years ago he is close to light speed, and his crystal missiles are multiple times faster than that. SpaceGodzilla has an emp blast, can control gravity, can manipulate electricity, and can move his laser mid air to aim for weak spots such as the back. Also the fact that he's probably one of the most intelligent monsters. And yet Godzilla was able to trick him multiple times, as well as figure out his weakness. So as you see this is why I didn't mention all this stuff, since it kind of gets complicated.

Heisei Godzilla also picked up battra and slammed him on the ground hard enough to split the earth open underwater. He was also able to physically compare to SpaceGodzilla, which SpaceGodzilla after loosing two of his main power sources was able to lift Moguera just using the end of his tail and then throw him very far. Moguera weighs 160,000 Metric Tons.

Wait what about the Godzilla from Godzilla vs Megaguirus? He took a black hole to the face, then blew one up at the end of the movie. Obviously the Dimension Tide doesn’t make much sense, but still the fact he took a black hole to the face after having some energy absorbed by the meganulon, then walked it of to go fight Megahuirus is still impressive.
Here’s what I will say, it may be stated that heisei godzilla can absorb radiation but it’s not officially confirmed, Plus with Legendary Godzilla and all other monsterverse kaiju they can call absorb radiation and that is officially confirmed. Another thing when Legendary was fighting Mechagodzilla he was already weakened by Kong and his energy levels were low but if he didn’t fight Kong his energy levels would’ve been higher and he could’ve taken on mechagodzilla.
Imo earth is the only Godzilla who’s not struggling when fighting any Godzilla. His only counter with the other Godzillas is ultima and that’s just because he defys the laws of the 3rd dimension and even then earth still wins
I did mention the shield, it was also penetrated by the humans electric weapons, which I also mentioned heisei godzilla has electric powers that could disable his shield.

And considering they already had technology enough to be able to reflect Godzilla's atomic breath back at him 10,000 times more powerful before they got future technology already says a lot. But as shown in the clip I provided, Godzilla earth barely moved his tail and ghidorah fell to the ground. Also ghidorah was never stated to be this strong when made physical. They were even stated in the clips I gave to be so weak that they could detect them on their computers. Godzilla 1984 also destroyed a mountain by standing up in the beginning of the film. thanks, and what I meant was not that Heisei Godzilla couldn't completely destroy most Godzillas, but the way he fights would have him fight them until they stop moving. Meaning that they could possibly regenerate from their injuries since their body is not completely destroyed.

Great video over all, I like the coverage although I feel like Earth has a higher chance of winning than Heisei, not only due to size advantage (albeit... mostly due to size advantage) but because of his defensive abilities being just far greater. You mentioned that he could explode if he over loaded but during MGC he was able to expel the excess energy in a massive release to avoid that, I kind of believe that due to his sheer size and the range of that heat wave around him during the battle against MGC, Heisei wouldn't be able to do much due to his constantly resetting shield and ability to release excess of energy in an offensive and defensive manner. This is just my opinion but I do wanna know what your thoughts are on this.
Well on paper that is correct. But the actual film shows Godzilla needing a long time to "digest" the energy which he eventually converted into an atomic breath. Meanwhile the amount of energy in the air Godzilla earth would produce would only make Heisei Godzilla stronger. Heisei Godzilla also would not give Godzilla earth the amount of time he had to digest the energy. So I think it would be a hard battle, but with Heisei Godzilla getting stronger while fighting I think he would end up on top.

Muto prime weighs 122,000 Metric tons. Heisei Godzilla lifted MechaGodzilla 2 with barely any leverage just by his head. Holding him vertically in the air and throwing him. MechaGodzilla 2 weighs 150,000 Metric Tons. Heisei Godzilla was also able to slam battra on the ground so hard it opened up the earth causing Godzilla and Battra to fall into an underwater volcano. The fact this was also done underwater would require even more strength. These are some of my reasons.

Have you seen the new Godzilla Jr, that Toho released ? Godzilla vs Gigan Rex and then Godzilla vs Megalon both are really good.. So to know that Jr absorbed Destroyer and Godzilla's energy he is tough.
Ngl MV and Heisei are the only ones that have a fair match. MV lifted Muto Prime (before KOTM) while weakened and In GvK he lifted a 600k (more like pushed) robot which was his Mechagodzilla and they have almost equal Dura (I say it goes to MV) and overall in my opinion MV wins high diff.
I just feel bad for Shin. I feel like people don’t give him enough credit, because he didn’t fight another Kaiju. Even leaving the evolution out… in his final form he was impervious to weapons until they dropped their most powerful one onto his weakest point. The area around his dorsals has been shown to be weaker, more membranous to vent excess heat. So that’s only a weakness if you get behind him. But to get behind him, you’d need to trick his UI-like sensory abilities. I forget what they called it lol. And then the fact that he is sneakily fast. No one brings it up. But my dude was mid-breath when those bombers flew over him. He simultaneously pivoted to be in a better position to counter, switched from mouth to back beams, and successfully hit his target, which was moving pretty damn fast. His beam is also far more concentrated than most, so all the power it has would be focused on a smaller point, more than likely amplifying his damage output. I believe Shin would be an absolute beast in a 1v1. Like I’m not sayin he’s stronger than X or could beat Y… I’m just sayin, maybe give my dude a little respect 🙏🏻
This video makes more sense than many of the Godzilla power scaling videos out there as it goes purely off of what’s in the movies instead of outside sources.

@@FastModz95 I’m just saying statements don’t match the feats shown in the movie. Godzilla’s cells can apparently survive in a black hole but he still gets damaged by other kaiju. Are we just supposed to assume that every kaiju in the Heisei era have abilities stronger than a black hole? If that were the case, then Earth would just be destroyed in one shot every time a kaiju used an ability. That’s why statements make no sense with what’s actually shown on screen.
Ah true Heisei Godzilla fan. Video request: Your favorite portrayals design-wise of Heisei Godzilla? Official movie posters win easily but they're one off things for the most part. After that my favorite to be from the random house book series during the 90s specifically "Godzilla vs. Gigan and the Smog Monster" book. That image of Godzilla lifting Gigan over his head is my favorite image of Godzilla ever.
9:19: the thing about legendary goji is that his breath isn't shown to be all that effective more often than not it's his overwhelming strength, especially since even weakened he won an initial clash against something 6x his own weight, in addition to that just with his jaw he can throw kong incredibly far distances. Not to mention that legendary goji is able to drain radiation, which is really useful considering how heisei's heart is considered to be like a living nuclear reactor. He's also a lot smarter than heisei godzilla seeing how he's able to coordinate with different kaiju, humans, and is able to keep a wide variety of titans in check. Despite all this heisei is still probably more durable even though he can take his beam when amplified back at him even if a single biollante tendril managed to pierce him, but I really doubt heisei would be able to win in the long run considering how much other abilities legendary godzilla has.
Monsterverse MechaGodzilla does not have an official weight, and neither does Kong, so the only things we can go by is previous showings of strength which is far less than anything Heisei Godzilla has shown. Heisei Godzilla also is able to drain radiation, except he is able to do it during fighting, or whether he is awake or not. He was able to drain SpaceGodzilla's energy while fighting him and many other times as well. Legendary Godzilla has not shown fighting intelligence which is what is important in a fight, he has not shown to be able to recognize monsters weaknesses and be able to learn from attacks despite Legendary Godzilla being millions of years old and Heisei Godzilla only fighting a few times in 10 years. Also unlike Legendary Godzilla, Heisei Godzilla gets stronger as the fight goes on, dealing more damage and becoming more powerful by the end of the fight.

Godzilla earth while in a stage where he was weaker and smaller (50 meters) he tanked 150 nuclear warheads with almost no signs of damage (This is when he had his shield disabled btw) 2. Well the permeable shield would obviously grant him extra defense to protect himself from heisei godzilla (Though I believe Heisei may be able to eventually somehow disable this) 3. Godzilla Earth's super oscillatory wave split part of the land in half (he make pretty much a whole new river without water) which if he used this against Heisei Godzilla could cause HUGE amounts of damage 4. His Plasma Cutter split multiple mountains in half which would result again in huge amounts of damage to heisei g 5. He has his metallic tissue which helps him extreme heat resistance 6. He has very powerful regeneration capabilities 7. Even his physical attacks are very powerful (although being slow) such as when a single tail whip was shown to take out quite a bit of Mechagodzilla city 8. His atomic breath when split into some very small and weaker splits of itself still deface a HUGE mountain 9. Even though he doesn't have too many feats of strength, his best one was shown when he was waking up from his rest and lifted AN ENTIRE MOUNTAIN off of his back 10. He can control parts of the environment, with his powers we see through the movies he can control the environment and summon other creatures such as Godzilla Filius and the Servum And those are the reasons why I believe Godzilla Earth would beat Heisei Godzilla (also these are just reasons I found that were from the movies, I wasn't including the novels that took place while he was in his 50 meter stage. And yes, the novels are confirmed to take place in the same universe as the movies)

Causing him to retreat after it was reflected back at him by mothra. Meanwhile Heisei Godzilla was able to handle his atomic breath shot back at him 10,000 times more powerful. It was when he was weaker in 1989, but in 1993 MechaGodzilla's plasma canon was stated to also be multiple times more powerful than Godzilla's atomic breath. Heisei Godzilla also kind of lifted a mountain off of his back in the beginning of 1984. He also was able to slam battra on the ocean ground so hard the ground split open and consumed them both. Heisei Godzilla also is very resistant to heat, being showeredin heat strong enough to melt MechaGodzilla's armor. Which didn't melt from Godzilla's atomic breath. And spacegodzilla was able to handle the power from multiple supernovas, but Heisei Godzilla was able to overpower and overload him. He was able to harm him even before his crystals broke. But that's just why I think Heisei Godzilla would win.
Which most of these attacks are useless against someone who doesn't run at you. When your basically fighting a tank that's much stronger than you, it's going to be hard to push them around.

He could easily be able to be pushed around. The only reason why Heisei wasn’t being pushed around was because the monsters in his era have very small arms or no arms at all. Plus, Final Wars could easily push Heisei around. He did it to Monster X so he could do the same thing too. He would push him to the ground and then punch him multiple times in the face, just like what he did with Monster X. The only advantages that Heisei has in this fight is his durability, Atomic Pulse, and Atomic Breath. If Heisei were to possibly get supercharged by Fire Rodan 1993, then possibly his other advantage would be his Supercharged Atomic Breath. Final Wars’s advantages are his Atomic Breath, Battle IQ, Agility, Dexterity, Stamina, Speed, Combat, and Close Combat. Final Wars is also very durable, being able to never take *ANY* damage from Kaiju, and tanked a meteor. He also knows martial arts, wrestling, and judo. Heisei still slams, but I just wanted to point out all of this. 👍

I think he kills showa in 1 to 2 hits honesty. He has poor durability and bleeds easily. One or 2 shots of his breath should blow him to smithereens. In my opinion he's hardest fight would be final wars and earth, due to earth's size and final wars power being very close to heiseis
Only problem I have is that monsterverse Godzilla had just fought Kong, and was already super tired and had actually fought him before too. And you could even see how exhausted he was, and he could really just put his weight on heisei godzillas torso or head/neck (due to weight increation theory, a rapid influx in pressure could still tear apart tissue and cause organs to be punctured no matter the armor or anything, simply due to rapid weight increation with the earths gravity) and that could easily kill him.
That part about him being punctured wouldn't be possible for Legendary Godzilla to do. Heisei Godzilla has shown far greater durability than anything Legendary Godzilla could dish out. He was not greatly harmed by the 150 meter tall King ghidorah flying up and down stomping on his neck. He also was not greatly harmed by the 150,000 metric ton MechaGodzilla flying into him at Mach 1. Heisei Godzilla handled the 150 meter tall and 80,000 metric ton Mecha King Ghidorah falling on top of him from hundreds of meters in the sky into the ocean. Waking up minutes later without injury. Not to mention when Destoroyah dragged him across the city into the ocean by his neck. There are many other instances like these that Legendary Godzilla could not even get close to. And this isn't even considering the strength of Heisei Godzilla and monsters he has fought. Also Legendary Godzilla getting tired was part of my point, I don't know why multiple people keep telling me that Legendary Godzilla was tired when that was my exact point.
4:25 You are very wrong, Godzilla Final Wars fought opponents of comparable weight. Anguirus, Gigan and Monster X have the same weight. So his attacks will affect Heisei Godzilla the same way as others. It's not his fault that Heisei Godzilla is so slow and worse in close combat than his other opponent. The Final Wars will truly be dominated by melee combat. You may not agree with me, but that's how it is. Heisei Godzilla is not that agile and has little experience using hand-to-hand combat. Some other Godzillas you demoted and others you promoted. Godzilla 2000 has a very powerful atomic breath is even more powerful than Heisei Godzilla's standard atomic breath, producing multiple explosions and causing critical damage. Final wars's heaviest lift is the 100,000 ton ghidorah, which he needed to use his arm as leverage to throw. Where heisei godzilla lifted the 150,000 ton mechagodzilla just by his head with barely any leverage. Meaning it would require a lot greater strength than if he lifted him using his arm or back as leverage. Also in his fight with spacegodzilla, Godzilla was pushed back by spacegodzilla's attacks. But spacegodzilla is physically the strongest godzilla. He was able to lift the 160,000 ton Moguera just using the very end of his tail. And this was after he was fatally injured and his 2 main power sources were destroyed. So i do think final wars wouldn't be able to do much to heisei godzilla physically.

To do this, the enemy must stand still, as Mechagodzilla was. in the final Wars he hits perfectly, dodges blows and can even just grab Heisei Godzilla by the head and throw him. Heisei Godzilla and SpaceGodzilla were both knocked down by mechagodzilla and moguera flying at them. But this attack did not do much, which shows their strength with something more than twice their body weight flies into their face. Final wars's best attacks are defensive. Using the monsters running at him against them. Heisei Godzilla doesn't fight like this, he's more like a tank that slowly comes to his enemy. I don't think final wars would be able to push him around like his other enemies, sure he could knock heisei godzilla down, but even in 1991 when Godzilla was a lot weaker, was able to stand up for a bit while mecha King ghidorah slammed into him. But that's just my opinion on the topic. It's alright to think differently about it, just look through the comments you'll even see people saying showa godzilla would beat heisei godzilla.

Depends how you want to approach the stuff, Feats and inverse material going by a consistent power scaling point, yeah he's actually the strongest in Live action versions of Godzilla literally. According to official games (aka GBL/battle line) Toho treats Heisei nothing special and consistently have him below Earth Goji, who is the strongest Goji in that game. Statements wise, Final Wars at base form is stated stronger than all of the other Kaiju aka Burning < Final Wars w/o Keizer amp, Earth would also be another one who was stated to be strongest as well. Also as a Final Wars fanboy, there is actually some more crazy stuff I felt like you missed out on, Heisei was able to tank his Breath 10000x stronger via Super X2, Final Wars can get stronger overtime shown in lore but I'd doubt he could get that strong quick enough when Heisei is just WAY more stronger at the early point of the fight. Muto prime weighs 135,000 tons, which converts to about 120,000 metric tons, and Heisei MechaGodzilla weighs 150,000 metric tons. Legendary Godzilla lifted muto prime off his back, heisei godzilla lifted mechagodzilla by the head with barely any leverage keeping him in the air and throwing him. And Legendary Godzilla getting tired is part of the reason why Heisei Godzilla would win. But that's just why I think Heisei Godzilla would win.
Only reason he lost to mecha Godzilla was because he had used all his power blowing a hole through the earth and fighting Kong. Not to mention Godzilla Earth would simply step on him.

Interesting video. Fantastic analysis. Only criticism - and not to your presentation of the facts but for the concept as a whole - is that it's *really* hard to gauge anything for Shin Godzilla. The first three forms are kind of a joke, and while the fourth form is (arguably) the most destructive Godzilla we've seen, it's just not well suited to fights. ... *But...* we also know it's not the final form. Which really throws a monkey wrench when the movie he's in ~hints~ at further evolutions but just... ends without actually exploring them, or what abilities it would have. We have behind the scenes concept art but... it's just not the same.
Thanks, and yeah Shin Godzilla is a hard one to put against other monsters. But Shin Godzilla's basic concept has been done before, with Destoroyah. Shin Godzilla is literally Destoroyah but not as good in almost every area. Shin Godzilla uses the same laser sound effect, has red skin, and mutation. But the main difference being that Destoroyah was able to go from a microscopic organism to the 130 meter tall monster in about a week. Even in his final fight with Godzilla, after being impaled by Godzilla's heat ray, Destoroyah regenerated like 5 minutes later, having his physical body be far less affected by Godzilla's increasing power. So with Heisei Godzilla he has fought a monster like Shin Godzilla, that grew wings in like a day of it being giant. Where Shin Godzilla was theorized to be able to do that but was stuck in his final form for the final part of the film.
@@GSTE_ yeah, the Destoroyah comparison is apt for on screen action purposes, but it breaks down a bit, narratively speaking. With Destoroyah, we can *assume* there's more evolutions possible beyond what was shown in his movie, but there's not really any guarantee it would be anything fancier than "Destoroyah 2: Electric Boogaloo". In contrast, with Shin Godzilla, we know there's at least one more evolution shown (and maybe more beyond that evolution), but we just have no frame of reference for what it's capable of because it's such a wild departure from what Shin Godzillas previous form even was. To use a pokemon analogy - it's a bit like trying to guess how strong a new evolution for Scizor is. It could be a new Ursaluna, and be absolutely terrifying to deal with, or it could be a Dudunsparce and be completely useless. We just don't know because it's a completely blank slate.
@@EnderPryde I don't know if I mentioned this already but it was shown that Destoroyah mutated beyond his "final form". After fighting burning godzilla and being impaled by Godzilla's atomic breath, Destoroyah returned and was able to handle a much stronger version of Godzilla's heat ray. With it only ripping his face apart after it reached a certain level of power. Destoroyah wasn't shown to physically change appearance after his "final form" due to him only being in that form for a few hours. Unlike shin godzilla who was in his final form in the film for a week or something, I don't remember the time exactly.
The thing that is unbelievable to SpaceGodzilla is that his body survives a balck hole and a supernova. But when moguera uses the spiral drill missiles his crystals gets destroyed! I means how's that even possible because a supernova has temperature of 1 Billion to 100 Billion Kelvin so hot that it is considered to be the hottest thing in the universe, which exerts a lot super radioactive energy and power, but spacegodzilla survives but when it comes to a weak spiral drill missile his crystals gets destroyed?! Moguera used his missiles on spacegodzilla's body in the beginning of their fight, but it did nothing. So the crystals are a lot weaker than his actual body, which Godzilla manage to damage and destroy. And more of the point is that Godzilla overloaded him with energy as stated in the film.
a supernova is far stronger and powerful than a missile drill, so how is space-g crystals able to withstand a supernova explosion but did not even resist a drilling missile
@@aaronquevedo6959 well that just shows that moguera's weapons are very powerful. You could say the same thing for Godzilla's atomic breath. If Godzilla's atomic breath was that strong then why wouldn't it just instantly destroy the earth or go right through the ground, and the answer is that it's just a movie, not everything is completely realistic. But moguera's other weapons such as his plasma canon and other lasers had no effect on spacegodzilla. But the time that moguera hit spacegodzilla's back, and Heisei godzilla happened to be right behind spacegodzilla, Heisei Godzilla was knocked out for a whole minute. Yet spacegodzilla was completely fine. So it shows that spacegodzilla is a bit weaker to physical attacks to his crystals, but not to his body. And he is a lot more resistant to energy attacks. So the point still stands.
If you use guide books for how mechagodzilla and moguera works and how their weapons function and how powerful it is you will know that it is stated that moguera was made to defeat the godzilla who defeated mechagodzilla that means moguera's weapons are made stronger than the red spiral ray(rodan amp) and something that made even more sense moguera's weapons are stated to be equal to heisei godzilla's atomic breath and it was later upgraded making it even more powerul to break spacegodzilla's crystals and yes the crystals cannot mutate to increase its durability and in the film godzilla was able to hurt spacegodzilla's body that means godzilla can destroy the crystals since it's weaker than spacegodzilla's body and moguera can also break it since he is made to have equal power to godzilla

Great video, i agree with pretty much everything you say, but one thing about heisei vs final wars. Final wars godzilla can get more powerful as he fights, in the beginning of hes fight with monster x it was obvious monster x was superior but as the fight went one fw started to turn the tide into hes favor. So yeah like heisei godzilla fw can get more powerful as he fights. The fight would be very close but heisei still wins because he has better feats of strength and power but final wars comes very close
There’s some problems I have with this: First off, GTSE mentioned in multiple videos to only base a monster strengths off of actual shown feats, and not statements. We never see Space Godzilla surviving supernovas, it is merely stated, and as far as the movies go, Heisei's only managed to wipe out a couple of buildings with a single atomic breath, while we see Legendary dig a whole though the planet, earth and minus one destroy and entire city, and final wars destroy an asteroid. Second, he mentioned in the could legendary survive showa video that showa monsters merely "jump around and trip over themselves". If we are going off their screen shown mobility, Heisei would get absolutely BLITZED by legendary and final wars, they’d flank him, topple him, and throw 3 strikes in the time Heisei can take 2 steps at most, and they’d wail on him while Heisei is completely defenseless in the ground. And I know the computer shows heisei's speed to be at around 200 KPH, but again, this is never shown. Plus most routes shown are almost completely underwater, so it may be referring to Heisei's swim speed. Lastly, Mecha Godzilla's laser is also only stated to be multiple times stronger, this is never actually shown, Heisei is constantly knocked back by attacks that are only shown to be capable of destroying some buildings. So imagine what city-planet level attacks would do to him.
For your first point I say that I'm only going to use things from the films or shown in the films. And not statements outside of the films. Unless it's a reliable statement that doesn't go against the film like a monster's height and weight. If we go by what is shown Heisei Godzilla was able to react to SpaceGodzilla's crystals being shot directly into his face. He was also able to react and catch Rodan who is able to fly at Mach 3. The computer showed multiple different routes, one being almost entirely through the ocean which was 256 km/h, another was through more land but was 338 km/h, and the most likely one which was entirely on land was 224 km/h. And this was where he was only walking, in later films like Godzilla vs MechaGodzilla he walks much faster while fighting MechaGodzilla. Also if we only go by what is shown including inconsistencies, Legendary Godzilla's thermonuclear form wasn't even able to melt surrounding buildings completely or small things right next to him. Does this make him weak, no, it's just an inconsistency that I don't consider when talking about the monsters. When people don't like powerscaling they really mean that they don't like when a monster they like doesn't win. Since they use even less reliable methods or the exact same methods as powerscalers. Such as using outside statements that don't match the films in any way, yet don't do the same for other monsters. I could have used the infilm statement that Heisei Godzilla handled his atomic breath 10,000 times more powerful in Godzilla vs Biollante, but It didn't make much sense and didn't match the video. And that's about it for my response.
@@GSTE_ My bad, I understood you’d only be using on screen shown actions, if we include implied info and off screen events then I agree, Heisei would wipe all Godzillas by the Space Godzilla fact alone and it’s not even close. Though I still think if we’re going off of shown feats Heisei would lose to other Gojis, but this can be attributed to the more limited budgets and CGI back in the 90s which were unable to showcase the power of the kaijus. Other than that, I fully agree on not using other media, personally I don’t think Godzilla and comics/series go together, I much better like it to stick to the big screen, keep up the good videos.

Since even in the film the same crystals that Heisei Godzilla was able to react to, were hundreds of times faster than SpaceGodzilla. And spacegodzilla was shown to be go from Mars to earth in about a few hours, also being shown to fly across Mars in a second. Heisei Godzilla was shown to be able to slam battra on the ground so hard it cracked the earth open into an underground volcano. And this was done underwater making it much more impressive. Mothra and Battra were also able to either deter or destroy a meteor that could destroy the earth. SpaceGodzilla's shield was able to reflect Godzilla's atomic breath back at him, which had no effect on Godzilla. Yet MechaGodzila's plasma canon, SpaceGodzilla's laser, and Destoroyah's laser all dropped Godzilla. Also in terms of physical strength there has yet to be a Godzilla or monster that outdoes heisei Godzilla or the monsters he fought.

Finally an accurate video without powerscaling Even if its not completely accurate, Monsterverse and other godzillas atomic breath would do nothing to heisei Since heisei godzilla's atomic breath (base) is 500k degrees celcius (his weakest atomic breath, his strongest one in burning form is 5 million degrees celcius with infinite energy and base heisei's red spyral heatray is more than 2.5 million degrees celcius) and heisei godzilla survived mecha godzilla's atomic breath which us 100x/1000x times stronger than his atomic breath and while monsterverse godzilla's atomic breath is 20k degrees celcius and the atomic breath he used to dig a whole through earth is over 50k degrees celcius you should watch Godzilla King of The Monster's heisei powerscale videos to understand all his states.

Muto Prime's punch did not destroy a tectonic plate, it caused a shockwave which fractured a weak part of a tectonic plate. Also Muto Prime's shockwaves are also weakened underwater. These shockwaves also are not the same thing as physical strength. On the other hand Heisei Godzilla was able to slam Battra on the ocean floor so hard it cracked the earth open and consumed both of them into an underground volcano. This wasn't just done on land, it was done under the water using another monster. Also Heisei Godzilla has shown to be physically stronger than any other film Godzilla either through direct things he has done or the monsters he has fought. As for abilities, Heisei Godzilla easily has more abilities than most Godzillas. He has the nuclear pulse, atomic breath, spiral atomic breath, red atomic breath, electric discharge, and an electric discharge which he can shoot through his hands or body. And for Battle intelligence Monsterverse Godzilla is extremely low in this area, charging directly at a monster is one of the worst strategies which he never learns from. Which causes him to get hit with hits Heisei Godzilla would not be hit from, such as Kong's punch in Egypt which almost knocked him out. Heisei Godzilla has consistently used his intelligence to fight the perfect fight for almost every film he has been in, using his powers and abilities to their fullest extent without taking unnecessary damage, while setting up traps for the monsters he fights or finding their hidden weaknesses. Also experience doesn't really mean much when Monsterverse Godzilla's combat lacks intelligence in his combat. And this is saying something considering he is 252 Million years old, while Heisei Godzilla has only fought monsters for 6 years. I don't know what you mean by feats, in terms of physical strength and power Heisei Godzilla has shown to greatly exceed anything Legendary Godzilla has done. So basically Heisei Godzilla has the advantages of Strength, power, durability, endurance, intelligence, and stamina. Basically the only thing Legendary Godzilla is better in is speed which isn't close to being enough to win this fight.
Even tho heisei and MV goji are an equal match (in my opinion), but i have to say MV takes this one The reason why is because MV Godzilla has more godly abilities that are more radioactive and deadly besides his atomic breath.... Such as his thermonuclear and atomic pulse along with his new evolved form with magenta abilities. Plus godzilla has survived many close death situations where he almost died like when ghidorah dropped him from the atmosphere of space, Kong's axe, and Muto Prime's sonic roar that shattered his dorsal plates but still ended up having the upper hand, So for him taking heisei's atomic breath to the face probably wont be a problem for him. And yes its true heisei is a powerful monster and all but MV is a unstoppable beast and a force of nature with world ending abilities. So in conclusion MV is the victor if this battle 💯🔥.
I really don’t agree with the MV Godzilla because the reason he lost to mecha godzilla is because he was fighting Kong for 12 hours and he was really tired cuz it half a day fighting for half a day is crazy and we can’t for get that Muto prime weighs more more than 150 metric tons when Godzilla had his dorsal plate, shattered and still was tried but the MV Godzilla has some godly feats when we power scale with Muto prime cuz first of all Muto prime has the ability to shatter gojira dorsals with its sonic roar, and the MV Godzilla took it aaaand this was after the events of 2014 and he wasn’t as strong as we see him now so over all strength goes to the MV Godzilla cuz 1 he lifted a kaiju weighing over 150 metric tons and had his dorsals shattered, and was low on energy and STILL WON and, when it comes to intelligence MV Godzilla takes the cake on that one because first of all in GvK when Kong was about to get killed, Godzilla knew that if he shot his atomic breath at Kongs axe he knew that it would give Kongs axe a power up cuz first Godzilla is a quick learner, and he’s been around for more than 25 million years, and he has plenty of experience in combat ect but the hesie Godzilla was made from nuclear weapons, and energy ect but Godzilla had his own species which hesie didn’t which is a every massive difference when it comes to that because 1 he is the only gojira left, and he also killed the main killers of the Godzilla species which are the mutos, and killed many earth killing threats like for example the mutos, Muto prime, Ghidorah, and the newest ones Skar King, and Shimo which was the first ever Kaiju to ever live, and the big G is scared as said in the second trailer, and guess what he’s gonna face Shimo any ways why? MV's best strength feat was to struggle lifting muto prime 135k/145k tons (Mecha godzilla 2021 IS NOT 600k tons.) Godzilla earth has his shield which withstood 150 tzar bombs, and he walked (slowly) away from it like it was nothing. Heisei goji's red spiral heat ray reaches a max temp of 1.2 million degrees Celsius, while the core of a nuclear bomb explosion reaches 100 million degrees Celsius... and he tanked 150 of those bombs. So Heisei goji's most powerful beam would do bugger all to Earth. Godzilla earth would use his super oscillatory wave and probs reduce Heisei goji to particles.
Heisei Godzilla's atomic breath doesn't have a temperature in the films. And usually information that isn't height and weight aren't correct. And even height and weight can be wrong at times. Considering if Godzilla's internal energy was released it would have instantly melted the earth to it's core, I would say his atomic breath is a lot hotter than that. Also Godzilla earth was shown to be vulnerable to the attacks of the humans and mechagodzilla city. Now I'm pretty sure they weren't as strong as 150 nuclear bombs, but it's the form of attack the proved effective. Heisei Godzilla is one of the few Godzillas that has shown to be able to produce electromagnetic energy, either through the discharge of his dorsal plates, through his entire body, or directing the energy through his hands when he hits a monster. So considering his other powers and his physical speed, strength, and weight advantage I would say he could beat Godzilla earth although it wouldn't be easy.

@@declancrampton6715 It is very powerful, and I think it could harm Heisei Godzilla and knock him to the ground. But Heisei Godzilla has faced things that are multiple times stronger than himself and he was able to get used to it. Examples being when SpaceGodzilla reflected Godzilla's atomic breath back at him and it had almost no effect on him. But SpaceGodzilla's laser knocked him to the ground almost instantly. Although Heisei Godzilla was knocked down from this laser even in their final battle, he eventually was able to stand up to it without going down despite SpaceGodzilla becoming more powerful. Another crazy example is when he fought the super x2 which was able to reflect his atomic breath back at him 10,000 times more intense. Now I don't really think this makes sense, but it's what the film says. And this was kind of shown with MechaGodzilla's plasma canon which uses the same technique as the super x2, that being a diamond coating that absorbs Godzilla's atomic breath and shoots it back more powerful. But I would say the main thing that shows Heisei Godzilla could handle this was SpaceGodzilla's crystals. SpaceGodzilla's crystals were able to get to earth hundreds of times faster than SpaceGodzilla. And SpaceGodzilla himself was shown to fly past Mars in seconds, and being able to go from Mars to Earth in hours which is about as fast as the speed of light. But these same crystals were used against Heisei Godzilla. With SpaceGodzilla first sending them into space, and then having them fly back to earth directly onto Heisei Godzilla. And after this SpaceGodzilla flew them directly into Heisei Godzilla's face, with Heisei Godzilla being able to react after getting hit directly a few times. So the point is that Heisei Godzilla has shown to be incredibly durable even to things much stronger than himself. Which I don't really think Godzilla earth is more powerful, it's just that his atomic breath is faster. It's been a while since my last reply so I'm not sure if I mentioned it or not, but Heisei Godzilla can walk at speed of around 200-300 km/h, but Godzilla earth can only walk at speeds of 24 km/h. Heisei Godzilla has also shown to take huge impacts with no problem. Perfect examples being when both Battra and King ghidorah fell with him into the ocean from extremely high in the sky. Causing a huge explosion in the water. And both times Godzilla was under the monsters taking the full force of the impact on his back. With monsters like Mecha King ghidorah weighing 80,000 Metric tons and being 150 Meters tall. So I definitely think Heisei Godzilla could handle anything Godzilla earth could dish out although the battle would definitely not be easy.

It would be hard for Godzilla earth to squish him when Godzilla earth weighs 100,000 tons. Meanwhile almost every monster Heisei Godzilla has fought has weighed about that much or a lot more. Mecha king ghidorah weighs 80,000 tons and is 150 meters tall, and Godzilla was not affected by the full force of Mecha King ghidorah falling onto him from a drop at least a few miles high. As well as monsters like mechagodzilla 2 weighing much more than Godzilla earth with mechagodzilla weighing 150,000 tons, and Heisei Godzilla was able to lift him and throw him into the air.

Though Heisei would indeed beat Legendary Godzilla, I think you are downplaying him too much. At full power, MV Goji would have likely stomped MechaGodzilla. The novel, art book and directors stated that Godzilla got weakened and drained by his fight with Kong which lasted the whole night. Godzilla fought someone who is nearly relative to him during a whole night, and had to endure the battle axe which was specifically made to counter his atomic breath. When fighting MG, he was stated to be depleted and at half strength.
I wasn't downplaying him, I just don't have an hour to explain how each fight would go exactly. As I also said, Legendary Godzilla would get tired eventually, while heisei godzilal wouldn't. And with Heisei Godzilla's power draining abilities he could make legendary godzilla weaker faster.
Powerscaling GOJI and any character really is very tough because its so hard to eleminate bias. Theres a certain GUY on this platform who has quite the heavy bias for Showa and Monsterverse incarnations for instance. Powerscaling in general is a topic I usually avoid for this very reason as you never can truely take bias out of the equasion, and trying to convince someone that their favourite isn't the strongers or would lose etc can be quite the up hill battle. I find a lot of the time people will pick and choose feats or facts. For a hypothetical example, bringing up a particular atomic breath feat the MV Godzilla may have based on some obscure data page, and using that in your argument when comparing it to the on screen only feats of the Heisei Godzilla, actively ignoring the same data present in an official compendium or something that actively disrupts and dsiproves your bias. Again it's not Just Godzilla and its fandom that does this, DBZ, Transformers, etc they all have this issue. It's human nature to pick a favorite and defend it. Anyway great video man, you bring up some crazy stuff here, I hope it's enough for people to stop the Heisei hate train we seem to be in for some reason.
Well people will generally not like certain stuff, especially things most people consider to be good. This is one of the reasons why I think the heisei godzilla series is looked down upon by a small group of people. Especially since most of those same people like a certain series of 3 films, not having to do with Godzilla. Usually these people think that they are right and there is no in between. Where I personally don't mind people thinking differently on this topic. As seen in my could legendary godzilla survive the showa era, I have legendary godzilla winning for the most part. But legendary godzilla is far from my favorite godzilla, as I grew up mostly with the showa godzilla films and the last two heisei godzilla films. I would say for this vid I could have used a ton of things even from the films themselves that make Heisei Godzilla crazy powerful, such as him being able to handle his own power 10,000 times more powerful, or him being able to instantly survive his brain exploding. But as all things are, it's a balance. Hearing other's thoughts on films and not instantly being defensive or combative is the best way to have growth. Thanks for watching.
@@GSTE_ I believe another reason Heisei is now slammed is because of the time. Showa is remembered for being the old campy Godzilla, Millennium was the more modern take on the character and Reiwa stuff is all new and shiny so there's a bit of recency bias there. Heisei is just kinda there, the 90's Godzilla, so I think the Heisei series as a whole is overlooked by the newer fans. It doesn't help that the effects are dated, so it might not look like Godzilla is punching with a certain force or moving and a certain speed, but if the canon media states as much then we have to take it as so despite it not looking that way compared to let's say MV. Regardless I 100% agree, at the end of the day we are all on the same side of loving Godzilla as a whole anyway. We need to hear each other's thoughts and opinions without getting defensive.
@@DaikaijuDU Well I don't agree with the effects being dated at all. If anything I think the Millenium Godzilla special effects, especially the early ones have aged a lot worse. But you don't hear a ton of criticism from the millenium godzilla fans. Some of it is from the showa godzilla fans, who basically think Godzilla vs Megalon is better than films like Godzilla vs SpaceGodzilla. When even speaking objectively that is not true, despite both films being rushed, vs SpaceGodzilla has a far greater quality in special effects. And this goes for most of the showa godzilla films, most of them aren't even the same quality standards as the 50s and very early 60s monster films like Gojira, Rodan, and Mothra. King Kong vs Godzilla was the start of this low quality trend, and ghidorah the three headed monster and mothra vs godzilla continued the pattern to an even worse extent. These films get excused completely because of the silliness. And anyone who criticizes the films only like serious godzilla films and don't understand these films. I personally think silliness can be done very well, Godzilla final wars is a great example of that, as well as films like Ebirah the sea monster and son of godzilla being overall good films including the monster fights, where films like Ghidorah the three headed monster are terrible. With Mothra vs Godzilla being terrible as well if you take away the human characters. I do think the heisei godzilla films had their problems, such as Godzilla vs SpaceGodzilla having a poorly written story, and Godzilla vs King ghidorah having a terrible story, but overall the films in both human story and monster scenes have aged the best out of godzilla franchise. This can be seen when people who don't even know much about Godzilla but recognize Heisei Godzilla. And the fights are probably the most explosive out of the suitmation godzilla films. So I do disagree with the thing that the fights have aged badly, of course they weren't trying to have the monsters literally go as fast as humans like the new movie is trying to do. But they made the fights still have a lot of impact in both physical combat and lasers.

I didn't mean for it to come accross as me saying as such, rather I was trying to imply that for the newer fans (Those who were introduced to the series thanks to the Monsterverse and make up the mijority of the youtube audience now) the Heisei series isn't as visually impactful as the refined effects (camera angles, edits etc etc) found in the Millenium era, or the eye candy in your face CGI of the Monsterverse. All eras have their own style. To me it just seems like A LOT of the newer fans who think MV Godzilla is top dog were introduced to the series through the monsterverse and potentially the over abundance of 'Godzilla vs Megalon' thanks to memes, re-runs and parents showing these new fans 'their Godzilla' Again its where the bias comes back in, as im sure most of these new fans that glaze MV Goji ( I don't hate MV Goji, he's just over hyped imo) had a similar story to this. Watched a MV film when they were young (probably 2014) and wanted to dive deeper. Godzilla vs Megalon was and still is super easy to find in physical media and online thanks to the early distribution fiasco back in the late 70's - 90's, plus it happens to be a lot of the parents generation (Gen x?) first/favorite or only known Godzilla film and it is quite popular thanks to the memes. From here the rest is history, watch more, become a fan, buy merch etc but the bias for the MV and late showa series has been established.

Usually the way they get their information on the heisei godzilla films is by short clips or people who don't even know exactly what happened in the films themselves. I would say the new fans brought in by the reiwa godzilla films have been more impactful against the heisei godzilla films. Due to these people liking the anime godzilla films, the showa godzilla films, and the heisei gamera films. They don't like how popular heisei godzilla is and they try and put the films down in every way possible. To be honest I don't really mind the monsterverse fans, most of them are kids, and the rest are people who like monsters fighting. But the "heisei gamera fans" can articulate their words incredibly well, by twisting the facts they make it very hard to respond with good points. I used to talk a lot with people about films and powerscaling about 2 or 3 years ago, and I can say without a doubt that the heisei gamera fans are the hardest to talk to. Also because they are incredibly combative, and think your objectively wrong if you disagree with them. For a perfect example of this go to my "The Special Effects of the Heisei Godzilla films" and go to the comment all the way at the bottom. It's the one with 50 replies. Read them and you'll see what I mean.

Well I actually grew up watching mostly showa godzilla films like godzilla vs mechagodzilla, godzilla vs gigan, destroy all monsters, son of godzilla, and the original. I only saw godzilla vs spacegodzilla, vs destoroyah for a long time until about 5 years ago.

Well my point was that Heisei Godzilla's atomic breath is stronger than final wars atomic breath. And Heisei Godzilla has shown to be able to handle things multiple times more powerful than him shot back at him. Heisei MechaGodzilla's plasma canon was stated to be multiple times more powerful than heisei Godzilla's atomic breath. And like I said Heisei Godzilla was shown to be able to handle attack multiple times more powerful than himself, legendary and final wars have not. Also Godzilla earth is very slow, being around 40 kmph, where Heisei Godzilla can go about 340 kmph according to Godzilla vs King ghidorah 1991. And the fact that he was able to pick up heisei mechagodzilla shows his physical strength.

Heisei Godzilla beats all the live action Godzillas. He could beat Earth with a lot of difficulty due to the sheer size difference, but Ultima’s avatar form is weak. Marvel Godzilla could also pose a challenge but he would lose too. IDW Godzilla destroys Heisei Godzilla though.
Heisei Godzilla is the strongest Godzilla to ever hit the big screen Even in the comics, he's still top 3. Marvel and DC Godzilla may have him beat, but Godzilla In Hell was just Heisei Godzilla in purgatory fighting his inner demons after dying.
I don't even think Heisei Godzilla is stronger than Heisei MechaGodzilla. Also him loosing energy was exactly my point. I don't know why so many people keep saying the same thing over again, when legendary godzilla loosing energy from fighting is not a good thing. The fact his skin was burned by mechagodzilla's laser has nothing to do with if he was tired or out of energy, that is just how durable his skin is. And unlike Monsterverse Mechagodzilla, Heisei MechaGodzilla was able to shoot Godzilla's atomic breath back multiple times more powerful.
Size matters not. In the franchise Heisei is stronger. He could in fiction shoot a hole through earth godzilla, and kill him from the inside and absorb earths radiation. Since he could absorb space Godzillas radiation too. Both might seem like super versions of Heisei but heisei both gets stronger and can absorb radiation faster unless im mistaken. Unless earth or minus one can use antimatter on heisei.
When it comes to the more benevolent versions of Godzilla (Showa, Legendary), they will simply win by virtue of having the plot armor reserved for protagonists.

Godzilla Earth can break apart Void Ghidorah’s avatar with his sheer physical strength, and no, Void wasn’t weaker when Earth did that, he was only deprived of his intangibility had given my Metphis’ eyes. Void Ghidorah, even when deprived of intangibility, was still holding and lifting Godzilla via supergravity, which is an 11D attack (high complex multiversal). Void’s avatar’s durabilty should scale to that as he was still exerting the supergravity on GE, until GE used is plasma cutter to break free. Being able to physically tear apart an 11D entity is enough physical strength to stomp Heisei Goji.
Also, Earth is far from slow. Sure, his traveling speed sucks, but his combat and reaction speeds are actually good. He can catch and hold Void Ghidorah’s heads with his arms, when these heads can move and react at relativistic speeds (as Ghidorah’s « weakened » avatar reacts to the atomic breath by catching it into its mouth before getting pulled back into the black hole). Void’s avatar should also, by itself, be able to move faster than light as even when deprived of intangibility hax, he can outfly his own black holes.

I love this vid ngl. Its a simple approach to the matchups and i love how you showed the size comparisons. Although i feel Shins durability is downplayed because he was no diffing many bombs and missiles in the day, his back was a weakspot and those were bunker bombs which are much stronger than normal missiles

I feel like seeing them in their own worlds is one thing compared to when they are face to face.
Also I did give shin godzilla a pretty good chance, saying that he could have gotten stronger after the missiles hit him. Butt also to be fair the superx2 had huge missiles that didn't really even affect Godzilla 1989 that much.

Impressive video. While I haven't done the research or know the exact stats, don't you think this is a little too much in Heisei's favor? I won't deny he's definitely one of the strongest Godzillas we have, but this does seem like this video automatically geared Heisei to be the victor, even though he struggles with some of the other Godzillas. Then again, I don't know every single statistic, so I can be wrong. Once again, great video!
Thanks, well that's a hard thing to say exactly. If you were to ask people who talk about power scaling they would probably say Heisei Godzilla defeats everyone except earth in one atomic breath, while godzilla earth would be a little harder.
For this video I wanted to take what I knew of Heisei Godzilla from the films themselves and not so much from outside statements. As well as the other Godzillas.
But there are other examples of Heisei Godzilla's strength that I didn't mention because I thought it would make things more complicated, such as Godzilla being able to slam battra on the ground so hard it split open the earth.
SpaceGodzilla is also one of the most overpowered monsters even going just by the film. From some estimations I did a few years ago he is close to light speed, and his crystal missiles are multiple times faster than that.
SpaceGodzilla has an emp blast, can control gravity, can manipulate electricity, and can move his laser mid air to aim for weak spots such as the back. Also the fact that he's probably one of the most intelligent monsters.
And yet Godzilla was able to trick him multiple times, as well as figure out his weakness.
So as you see this is why I didn't mention all this stuff, since it kind of gets complicated.
I honestly agree that heisei Godzilla beats every Godzilla even when in base also never knew Godzilla guy inspired you to do this video

Heisei Godzilla also picked up battra and slammed him on the ground hard enough to split the earth open underwater.
He was also able to physically compare to SpaceGodzilla, which SpaceGodzilla after loosing two of his main power sources was able to lift Moguera just using the end of his tail and then throw him very far.
Moguera weighs 160,000 Metric Tons.
Heisei would end pretty much every Godzilla, imagine his son when he grows up.

Wait what about the Godzilla from Godzilla vs Megaguirus? He took a black hole to the face, then blew one up at the end of the movie. Obviously the Dimension Tide doesn’t make much sense, but still the fact he took a black hole to the face after having some energy absorbed by the meganulon, then walked it of to go fight Megahuirus is still impressive.
Here’s what I will say, it may be stated that heisei godzilla can absorb radiation but it’s not officially confirmed, Plus with Legendary Godzilla and all other monsterverse kaiju they can call absorb radiation and that is officially confirmed. Another thing when Legendary was fighting Mechagodzilla he was already weakened by Kong and his energy levels were low but if he didn’t fight Kong his energy levels would’ve been higher and he could’ve taken on mechagodzilla.

And considering they already had technology enough to be able to reflect Godzilla's atomic breath back at him 10,000 times more powerful before they got future technology already says a lot.
But as shown in the clip I provided, Godzilla earth barely moved his tail and ghidorah fell to the ground. Also ghidorah was never stated to be this strong when made physical. They were even stated in the clips I gave to be so weak that they could detect them on their computers.
Godzilla 1984 also destroyed a mountain by standing up in the beginning of the film. And he wasn't even close to as strong as he was in godzilla vs spacegodzilla.

thanks, and what I meant was not that Heisei Godzilla couldn't completely destroy most Godzillas, but the way he fights would have him fight them until they stop moving. Meaning that they could possibly regenerate from their injuries since their body is not completely destroyed.

Great video over all, I like the coverage although I feel like Earth has a higher chance of winning than Heisei, not only due to size advantage (albeit... mostly due to size advantage) but because of his defensive abilities being just far greater. You mentioned that he could explode if he over loaded but during MGC he was able to expel the excess energy in a massive release to avoid that, I kind of believe that due to his sheer size and the range of that heat wave around him during the battle against MGC, Heisei wouldn't be able to do much due to his constantly resetting shield and ability to release excess of energy in an offensive and defensive manner. This is just my opinion but I do wanna know what your thoughts are on this.
Well on paper that is correct. But the actual film shows Godzilla needing a long time to "digest" the energy which he eventually converted into an atomic breath.
Meanwhile the amount of energy in the air Godzilla earth would produce would only make Heisei Godzilla stronger.
Heisei Godzilla also would not give Godzilla earth the amount of time he had to digest the energy.
So I think it would be a hard battle, but with Heisei Godzilla getting stronger while fighting I think he would end up on top.

Legendary Godzilla's greatest lifting feat is from the comics where he lifted Muto Prime on his back using all his strength.
Muto prime weighs 122,000 Metric tons.
Heisei Godzilla lifted MechaGodzilla 2 with barely any leverage just by his head. Holding him vertically in the air and throwing him.
MechaGodzilla 2 weighs 150,000 Metric Tons.
Heisei Godzilla was also able to slam battra on the ground so hard it opened up the earth causing Godzilla and Battra to fall into an underwater volcano.
The fact this was also done underwater would require even more strength.
These are some of my reasons.

Have you seen the new Godzilla Jr, that Toho released ? Godzilla vs Gigan Rex and then Godzilla vs Megalon both are really good.. So to know that Jr absorbed Destroyer and Godzilla's energy he is tough.
Ngl MV and Heisei are the only ones that have a fair match.
MV lifted Muto Prime (before KOTM) while weakened and In GvK he lifted a 600k (more like pushed) robot which was his Mechagodzilla and they have almost equal Dura (I say it goes to MV) and overall in my opinion MV wins high diff.

I just feel bad for Shin.
I feel like people don’t give him enough credit, because he didn’t fight another Kaiju.
Even leaving the evolution out… in his final form he was impervious to weapons until they dropped their most powerful one onto his weakest point. The area around his dorsals has been shown to be weaker, more membranous to vent excess heat. So that’s only a weakness if you get behind him.
But to get behind him, you’d need to trick his UI-like sensory abilities. I forget what they called it lol.
And then the fact that he is sneakily fast. No one brings it up. But my dude was mid-breath when those bombers flew over him. He simultaneously pivoted to be in a better position to counter, switched from mouth to back beams, and successfully hit his target, which was moving pretty damn fast.
His beam is also far more concentrated than most, so all the power it has would be focused on a smaller point, more than likely amplifying his damage output.
I believe Shin would be an absolute beast in a 1v1.
Like I’m not sayin he’s stronger than X or could beat Y… I’m just sayin, maybe give my dude a little respect 🙏🏻

If that were the case, then Earth would just be destroyed in one shot every time a kaiju used an ability. That’s why statements make no sense with what’s actually shown on screen.

After that my favorite to be from the random house book series during the 90s specifically "Godzilla vs. Gigan and the Smog Monster" book. That image of Godzilla lifting Gigan over his head is my favorite image of Godzilla ever.

the thing about legendary goji is that his breath isn't shown to be all that effective more often than not it's his overwhelming strength, especially since even weakened he won an initial clash against something 6x his own weight, in addition to that just with his jaw he can throw kong incredibly far distances. Not to mention that legendary goji is able to drain radiation, which is really useful considering how heisei's heart is considered to be like a living nuclear reactor. He's also a lot smarter than heisei godzilla seeing how he's able to coordinate with different kaiju, humans, and is able to keep a wide variety of titans in check. Despite all this heisei is still probably more durable even though he can take his beam when amplified back at him even if a single biollante tendril managed to pierce him, but I really doubt heisei would be able to win in the long run considering how much other abilities legendary godzilla has.
Monsterverse MechaGodzilla does not have an official weight, and neither does Kong, so the only things we can go by is previous showings of strength which is far less than anything Heisei Godzilla has shown.
Heisei Godzilla also is able to drain radiation, except he is able to do it during fighting, or whether he is awake or not. He was able to drain SpaceGodzilla's energy while fighting him and many other times as well.
Legendary Godzilla has not shown fighting intelligence which is what is important in a fight, he has not shown to be able to recognize monsters weaknesses and be able to learn from attacks despite Legendary Godzilla being millions of years old and Heisei Godzilla only fighting a few times in 10 years.
Also unlike Legendary Godzilla, Heisei Godzilla gets stronger as the fight goes on, dealing more damage and becoming more powerful by the end of the fight.

1. Godzilla earth while in a stage where he was weaker and smaller (50 meters) he tanked 150 nuclear warheads with almost no signs of damage (This is when he had his shield disabled btw)
2. Well the permeable shield would obviously grant him extra defense to protect himself from heisei godzilla (Though I believe Heisei may be able to eventually somehow disable this)
3. Godzilla Earth's super oscillatory wave split part of the land in half (he make pretty much a whole new river without water) which if he used this against Heisei Godzilla could cause HUGE amounts of damage
4. His Plasma Cutter split multiple mountains in half which would result again in huge amounts of damage to heisei g
5. He has his metallic tissue which helps him extreme heat resistance
6. He has very powerful regeneration capabilities
7. Even his physical attacks are very powerful (although being slow) such as when a single tail whip was shown to take out quite a bit of Mechagodzilla city
8. His atomic breath when split into some very small and weaker splits of itself still deface a HUGE mountain
9. Even though he doesn't have too many feats of strength, his best one was shown when he was waking up from his rest and lifted AN ENTIRE MOUNTAIN off of his back
10. He can control parts of the environment, with his powers we see through the movies he can control the environment and summon other creatures such as Godzilla Filius and the Servum
And those are the reasons why I believe Godzilla Earth would beat Heisei Godzilla (also these are just reasons I found that were from the movies, I wasn't including the novels that took place while he was in his 50 meter stage. And yes, the novels are confirmed to take place in the same universe as the movies)

But one of godzilla earth's weaknesses is his own atomic breath. Causing him to retreat after it was reflected back at him by mothra.
Meanwhile Heisei Godzilla was able to handle his atomic breath shot back at him 10,000 times more powerful. It was when he was weaker in 1989, but in 1993 MechaGodzilla's plasma canon was stated to also be multiple times more powerful than Godzilla's atomic breath.
Heisei Godzilla also kind of lifted a mountain off of his back in the beginning of 1984.
He also was able to slam battra on the ocean ground so hard the ground split open and consumed them both.
Heisei Godzilla also is very resistant to heat, being showeredin heat strong enough to melt MechaGodzilla's armor.
Which didn't melt from Godzilla's atomic breath.
And spacegodzilla was able to handle the power from multiple supernovas, but Heisei Godzilla was able to overpower and overload him. He was able to harm him even before his crystals broke.
But that's just why I think Heisei Godzilla would win.

4:20 Final Wars is literally *VERY SKILLED* at close combat, being able to know martial arts, judo, and wrestling.
Which most of these attacks are useless against someone who doesn't run at you.
When your basically fighting a tank that's much stronger than you, it's going to be hard to push them around.
@@GSTE_ How are they useless?! Yeah, Heisei doesn’t run since he’s slow, but that doesn’t mean Final Wars can’t use his combat skills to try to kill Heisei Godzilla. Also at 4:24 How?! He could easily be able to be pushed around. The only reason why Heisei wasn’t being pushed around was because the monsters in his era have very small arms or no arms at all. Plus, Final Wars could easily push Heisei around. He did it to Monster X so he could do the same thing too. He would push him to the ground and then punch him multiple times in the face, just like what he did with Monster X. The only advantages that Heisei has in this fight is his durability, Atomic Pulse, and Atomic Breath. If Heisei were to possibly get supercharged by Fire Rodan 1993, then possibly his other advantage would be his Supercharged Atomic Breath. Final Wars’s advantages are his Atomic Breath, Battle IQ, Agility, Dexterity, Stamina, Speed, Combat, and Close Combat. Final Wars is also very durable, being able to never take *ANY* damage from Kaiju, and tanked a meteor. He also knows martial arts, wrestling, and judo. Heisei still slams, but I just wanted to point out all of this. 👍

I think he kills showa in 1 to 2 hits honesty. He has poor durability and bleeds easily. One or 2 shots of his breath should blow him to smithereens. In my opinion he's hardest fight would be final wars and earth, due to earth's size and final wars power being very close to heiseis
If we're talking about power scaling showa still isn't a match for him since showa will get eliminated with just one atomic breathe
Only problem I have is that monsterverse Godzilla had just fought Kong, and was already super tired and had actually fought him before too. And you could even see how exhausted he was, and he could really just put his weight on heisei godzillas torso or head/neck (due to weight increation theory, a rapid influx in pressure could still tear apart tissue and cause organs to be punctured no matter the armor or anything, simply due to rapid weight increation with the earths gravity) and that could easily kill him.
That part about him being punctured wouldn't be possible for Legendary Godzilla to do.
Heisei Godzilla has shown far greater durability than anything Legendary Godzilla could dish out.
He was not greatly harmed by the 150 meter tall King ghidorah flying up and down stomping on his neck.

Where heisei godzilla lifted the 150,000 ton mechagodzilla just by his head with barely any leverage. Meaning it would require a lot greater strength than if he lifted him using his arm or back as leverage.
Also in his fight with spacegodzilla, Godzilla was pushed back by spacegodzilla's attacks.
But spacegodzilla is physically the strongest godzilla. He was able to lift the 160,000 ton Moguera just using the very end of his tail.
And this was after he was fatally injured and his 2 main power sources were destroyed.
So i do think final wars wouldn't be able to do much to heisei godzilla physically.

I don't think final wars would be able to push him around like his other enemies, sure he could knock heisei godzilla down, but even in 1991 when Godzilla was a lot weaker, was able to stand up for a bit while mecha King ghidorah slammed into him.

Depends how you want to approach the stuff, Feats and inverse material going by a consistent power scaling point, yeah he's actually the strongest in Live action versions of Godzilla literally.
According to official games (aka GBL/battle line) Toho treats Heisei nothing special and consistently have him below Earth Goji, who is the strongest Goji in that game.
Statements wise, Final Wars at base form is stated stronger than all of the other Kaiju aka Burning < Final Wars w/o Keizer amp, Earth would also be another one who was stated to be strongest as well.
Also as a Final Wars fanboy, there is actually some more crazy stuff I felt like you missed out on, Heisei was able to tank his Breath 10000x stronger via Super X2, Final Wars can get stronger overtime shown in lore but I'd doubt he could get that strong quick enough when Heisei is just WAY more stronger at the early point of the fight.

Legendary Godzilla lifted muto prime off his back, heisei godzilla lifted mechagodzilla by the head with barely any leverage keeping him in the air and throwing him.

Only criticism - and not to your presentation of the facts but for the concept as a whole - is that it's *really* hard to gauge anything for Shin Godzilla.
The first three forms are kind of a joke, and while the fourth form is (arguably) the most destructive Godzilla we've seen, it's just not well suited to fights.
... *But...* we also know it's not the final form. Which really throws a monkey wrench when the movie he's in ~hints~ at further evolutions but just... ends without actually exploring them, or what abilities it would have.
We have behind the scenes concept art but... it's just not the same.

But Shin Godzilla's basic concept has been done before, with Destoroyah.
Shin Godzilla is literally Destoroyah but not as good in almost every area.
Shin Godzilla uses the same laser sound effect, has red skin, and mutation.
But the main difference being that Destoroyah was able to go from a microscopic organism to the 130 meter tall monster in about a week.
Even in his final fight with Godzilla, after being impaled by Godzilla's heat ray, Destoroyah regenerated like 5 minutes later, having his physical body be far less affected by Godzilla's increasing power.
So with Heisei Godzilla he has fought a monster like Shin Godzilla, that grew wings in like a day of it being giant. Where Shin Godzilla was theorized to be able to do that but was stuck in his final form for the final part of the film.
@@GSTE_ yeah, the Destoroyah comparison is apt for on screen action purposes, but it breaks down a bit, narratively speaking.
With Destoroyah, we can *assume* there's more evolutions possible beyond what was shown in his movie, but there's not really any guarantee it would be anything fancier than "Destoroyah 2: Electric Boogaloo".
In contrast, with Shin Godzilla, we know there's at least one more evolution shown (and maybe more beyond that evolution), but we just have no frame of reference for what it's capable of because it's such a wild departure from what Shin Godzillas previous form even was.
To use a pokemon analogy - it's a bit like trying to guess how strong a new evolution for Scizor is.
It could be a new Ursaluna, and be absolutely terrifying to deal with, or it could be a Dudunsparce and be completely useless. We just don't know because it's a completely blank slate.

After fighting burning godzilla and being impaled by Godzilla's atomic breath, Destoroyah returned and was able to handle a much stronger version of Godzilla's heat ray. With it only ripping his face apart after it reached a certain level of power.
Destoroyah wasn't shown to physically change appearance after his "final form" due to him only being in that form for a few hours.
Unlike shin godzilla who was in his final form in the film for a week or something, I don't remember the time exactly.
The thing that is unbelievable to SpaceGodzilla is that his body survives a balck hole and a supernova. But when moguera uses the spiral drill missiles his crystals gets destroyed!

Moguera used his missiles on spacegodzilla's body in the beginning of their fight, but it did nothing. So the crystals are a lot weaker than his actual body, which Godzilla manage to damage and destroy. And more of the point is that Godzilla overloaded him with energy as stated in the film.

You could say the same thing for Godzilla's atomic breath. If Godzilla's atomic breath was that strong then why wouldn't it just instantly destroy the earth or go right through the ground, and the answer is that it's just a movie, not everything is completely realistic.
But moguera's other weapons such as his plasma canon and other lasers had no effect on spacegodzilla. But the time that moguera hit spacegodzilla's back, and Heisei godzilla happened to be right behind spacegodzilla, Heisei Godzilla was knocked out for a whole minute.
Yet spacegodzilla was completely fine.
So it shows that spacegodzilla is a bit weaker to physical attacks to his crystals, but not to his body. And he is a lot more resistant to energy attacks.
So the point still stands.
If you use guide books for how mechagodzilla and moguera works and how their weapons function and how powerful it is you will know that it is stated that moguera was made to defeat the godzilla who defeated mechagodzilla that means moguera's weapons are made stronger than the red spiral ray(rodan amp) and something that made even more sense moguera's weapons are stated to be equal to heisei godzilla's atomic breath and it was later upgraded making it even more powerul to break spacegodzilla's crystals and yes the crystals cannot mutate to increase its durability and in the film godzilla was able to hurt spacegodzilla's body that means godzilla can destroy the crystals since it's weaker than spacegodzilla's body and moguera can also break it since he is made to have equal power to godzilla

Well regeneration isn't anything new to Heisei Godzilla. Destoroyah has the fastest regeneration of any monster by far.
Great video, i agree with pretty much everything you say, but one thing about heisei vs final wars. Final wars godzilla can get more powerful as he fights, in the beginning of hes fight with monster x it was obvious monster x was superior but as the fight went one fw started to turn the tide into hes favor. So yeah like heisei godzilla fw can get more powerful as he fights. The fight would be very close but heisei still wins because he has better feats of strength and power but final wars comes very close

There’s some problems I have with this:
First off, GTSE mentioned in multiple videos to only base a monster strengths off of actual shown feats, and not statements. We never see Space Godzilla surviving supernovas, it is merely stated, and as far as the movies go, Heisei's only managed to wipe out a couple of buildings with a single atomic breath, while we see Legendary dig a whole though the planet, earth and minus one destroy and entire city, and final wars destroy an asteroid.
Second, he mentioned in the could legendary survive showa video that showa monsters merely "jump around and trip over themselves". If we are going off their screen shown mobility, Heisei would get absolutely BLITZED by legendary and final wars, they’d flank him, topple him, and throw 3 strikes in the time Heisei can take 2 steps at most, and they’d wail on him while Heisei is completely defenseless in the ground. And I know the computer shows heisei's speed to be at around 200 KPH, but again, this is never shown. Plus most routes shown are almost completely underwater, so it may be referring to Heisei's swim speed.
Lastly, Mecha Godzilla's laser is also only stated to be multiple times stronger, this is never actually shown, Heisei is constantly knocked back by attacks that are only shown to be capable of destroying some buildings. So imagine what city-planet level attacks would do to him.
For your first point I say that I'm only going to use things from the films or shown in the films. And not statements outside of the films.
Unless it's a reliable statement that doesn't go against the film like a monster's height and weight.
If we go by what is shown Heisei Godzilla was able to react to SpaceGodzilla's crystals being shot directly into his face. He was also able to react and catch Rodan who is able to fly at Mach 3.
The computer showed multiple different routes, one being almost entirely through the ocean which was 256 km/h, another was through more land but was 338 km/h, and the most likely one which was entirely on land was 224 km/h.
And this was where he was only walking, in later films like Godzilla vs MechaGodzilla he walks much faster while fighting MechaGodzilla.
Also if we only go by what is shown including inconsistencies, Legendary Godzilla's thermonuclear form wasn't even able to melt surrounding buildings completely or small things right next to him.
Does this make him weak, no, it's just an inconsistency that I don't consider when talking about the monsters.
When people don't like powerscaling they really mean that they don't like when a monster they like doesn't win.
Since they use even less reliable methods or the exact same methods as powerscalers.
Such as using outside statements that don't match the films in any way, yet don't do the same for other monsters.
I could have used the infilm statement that Heisei Godzilla handled his atomic breath 10,000 times more powerful in Godzilla vs Biollante, but It didn't make much sense and didn't match the video.

Though I still think if we’re going off of shown feats Heisei would lose to other Gojis, but this can be attributed to the more limited budgets and CGI back in the 90s which were unable to showcase the power of the kaijus.
Other than that, I fully agree on not using other media, personally I don’t think Godzilla and comics/series go together, I much better like it to stick to the big screen, keep up the good videos.

And spacegodzilla was shown to be go from Mars to earth in about a few hours, also being shown to fly across Mars in a second.
Heisei Godzilla was shown to be able to slam battra on the ground so hard it cracked the earth open into an underground volcano. And this was done underwater making it much more impressive.
Mothra and Battra were also able to either deter or destroy a meteor that could destroy the earth.
SpaceGodzilla's shield was able to reflect Godzilla's atomic breath back at him, which had no effect on Godzilla. Yet MechaGodzila's plasma canon, SpaceGodzilla's laser, and Destoroyah's laser all dropped Godzilla.
Also in terms of physical strength there has yet to be a Godzilla or monster that outdoes heisei Godzilla or the monsters he fought.

while monsterverse godzilla's atomic breath is 20k degrees celcius and the atomic breath he used to dig a whole through earth is over 50k degrees celcius

He has the nuclear pulse, atomic breath, spiral atomic breath, red atomic breath, electric discharge, and an electric discharge which he can shoot through his hands or body.
And for Battle intelligence Monsterverse Godzilla is extremely low in this area, charging directly at a monster is one of the worst strategies which he never learns from. Which causes him to get hit with hits Heisei Godzilla would not be hit from, such as Kong's punch in Egypt which almost knocked him out.
Heisei Godzilla has consistently used his intelligence to fight the perfect fight for almost every film he has been in, using his powers and abilities to their fullest extent without taking unnecessary damage, while setting up traps for the monsters he fights or finding their hidden weaknesses.
Also experience doesn't really mean much when Monsterverse Godzilla's combat lacks intelligence in his combat. And this is saying something considering he is 252 Million years old, while Heisei Godzilla has only fought monsters for 6 years.
I don't know what you mean by feats, in terms of physical strength and power Heisei Godzilla has shown to greatly exceed anything Legendary Godzilla has done.
So basically Heisei Godzilla has the advantages of Strength, power, durability, endurance, intelligence, and stamina. Basically the only thing Legendary Godzilla is better in is speed which isn't close to being enough to win this fight.
Even tho heisei and MV goji are an equal match (in my opinion), but i have to say MV takes this one
The reason why is because MV Godzilla has more godly abilities that are more radioactive and deadly besides his atomic breath....

I really don’t agree with the MV Godzilla because the reason he lost to mecha godzilla is because he was fighting Kong for 12 hours and he was really tired cuz it half a day fighting for half a day is crazy and we can’t for get that Muto prime weighs more more than 150 metric tons when Godzilla had his dorsal plate, shattered and still was tried but the MV Godzilla has some godly feats when we power scale with Muto prime cuz first of all Muto prime has the ability to shatter gojira dorsals with its sonic roar, and the MV Godzilla took it aaaand this was after the events of 2014 and he wasn’t as strong as we see him now so over all strength goes to the MV Godzilla cuz 1 he lifted a kaiju weighing over 150 metric tons and had his dorsals shattered, and was low on energy and STILL WON and, when it comes to intelligence MV Godzilla takes the cake on that one because first of all in GvK when Kong was about to get killed, Godzilla knew that if he shot his atomic breath at Kongs axe he knew that it would give Kongs axe a power up cuz first Godzilla is a quick learner, and he’s been around for more than 25 million years, and he has plenty of experience in combat ect but the hesie Godzilla was made from nuclear weapons, and energy ect but Godzilla had his own species which hesie didn’t which is a every massive difference when it comes to that because 1 he is the only gojira left, and he also killed the main killers of the Godzilla species which are the mutos, and killed many earth killing threats like for example the mutos, Muto prime, Ghidorah, and the newest ones Skar King, and Shimo which was the first ever Kaiju to ever live, and the big G is scared as said in the second trailer, and guess what he’s gonna face Shimo any ways why? Well it’s because Godzilla is a badass, and is the alpha of all titans so it’s his job alright we are getting out of the 1v1 alright speed MV Godzilla by a landslide cuz he in the next move GxK we see Godzilla way ahead of Kong, and how fast is hesie? Not really that fast so MV Godzilla takes that durability MV Godzilla and Hesie are equally matched cuz they both have feats that are almost similar so it’s a tie abilities MV godzilla takes the cake cuz the MV Godzilla has unlocked newer abilities that are just pure raw power, and full of radiation that is every deadly which is bad cuz as you said hesie can absorb surrounding radiation as near that is near him, but Godzilla can over come that so MV Godzilla takes it and for the over all winner coms tooooooooooo

Godzilla earth has his shield which withstood 150 tzar bombs, and he walked (slowly) away from it like it was nothing. Heisei goji's red spiral heat ray reaches a max temp of 1.2 million degrees Celsius, while the core of a nuclear bomb explosion reaches 100 million degrees Celsius... and he tanked 150 of those bombs. So Heisei goji's most powerful beam would do bugger all to Earth. Godzilla earth would use his super oscillatory wave and probs reduce Heisei goji to particles.
Heisei Godzilla's atomic breath doesn't have a temperature in the films. And usually information that isn't height and weight aren't correct. And even height and weight can be wrong at times.
Considering if Godzilla's internal energy was released it would have instantly melted the earth to it's core, I would say his atomic breath is a lot hotter than that.
Also Godzilla earth was shown to be vulnerable to the attacks of the humans and mechagodzilla city. Now I'm pretty sure they weren't as strong as 150 nuclear bombs, but it's the form of attack the proved effective.
Heisei Godzilla is one of the few Godzillas that has shown to be able to produce electromagnetic energy, either through the discharge of his dorsal plates, through his entire body, or directing the energy through his hands when he hits a monster.
So considering his other powers and his physical speed, strength, and weight advantage I would say he could beat Godzilla earth although it wouldn't be easy.

But Heisei Godzilla has faced things that are multiple times stronger than himself and he was able to get used to it.
Examples being when SpaceGodzilla reflected Godzilla's atomic breath back at him and it had almost no effect on him.
But SpaceGodzilla's laser knocked him to the ground almost instantly. Although Heisei Godzilla was knocked down from this laser even in their final battle, he eventually was able to stand up to it without going down despite SpaceGodzilla becoming more powerful.
Another crazy example is when he fought the super x2 which was able to reflect his atomic breath back at him 10,000 times more intense. Now I don't really think this makes sense, but it's what the film says.
And this was kind of shown with MechaGodzilla's plasma canon which uses the same technique as the super x2, that being a diamond coating that absorbs Godzilla's atomic breath and shoots it back more powerful.
But I would say the main thing that shows Heisei Godzilla could handle this was SpaceGodzilla's crystals. SpaceGodzilla's crystals were able to get to earth hundreds of times faster than SpaceGodzilla. And SpaceGodzilla himself was shown to fly past Mars in seconds, and being able to go from Mars to Earth in hours which is about as fast as the speed of light.
But these same crystals were used against Heisei Godzilla. With SpaceGodzilla first sending them into space, and then having them fly back to earth directly onto Heisei Godzilla.
And after this SpaceGodzilla flew them directly into Heisei Godzilla's face, with Heisei Godzilla being able to react after getting hit directly a few times.
So the point is that Heisei Godzilla has shown to be incredibly durable even to things much stronger than himself. Which I don't really think Godzilla earth is more powerful, it's just that his atomic breath is faster.
It's been a while since my last reply so I'm not sure if I mentioned it or not, but Heisei Godzilla can walk at speed of around 200-300 km/h, but Godzilla earth can only walk at speeds of 24 km/h.
Heisei Godzilla has also shown to take huge impacts with no problem. Perfect examples being when both Battra and King ghidorah fell with him into the ocean from extremely high in the sky. Causing a huge explosion in the water.
And both times Godzilla was under the monsters taking the full force of the impact on his back. With monsters like Mecha King ghidorah weighing 80,000 Metric tons and being 150 Meters tall.
So I definitely think Heisei Godzilla could handle anything Godzilla earth could dish out although the battle would definitely not be easy.

Though Heisei would indeed beat Legendary Godzilla, I think you are downplaying him too much. At full power, MV Goji would have likely stomped MechaGodzilla. The novel, art book and directors stated that Godzilla got weakened and drained by his fight with Kong which lasted the whole night. Godzilla fought someone who is nearly relative to him during a whole night, and had to endure the battle axe which was specifically made to counter his atomic breath. When fighting MG, he was stated to be depleted and at half strength.
I wasn't downplaying him, I just don't have an hour to explain how each fight would go exactly.
As I also said, Legendary Godzilla would get tired eventually, while heisei godzilal wouldn't. And with Heisei Godzilla's power draining abilities he could make legendary godzilla weaker faster.

Powerscaling GOJI and any character really is very tough because its so hard to eleminate bias. Theres a certain GUY on this platform who has quite the heavy bias for Showa and Monsterverse incarnations for instance. Powerscaling in general is a topic I usually avoid for this very reason as you never can truely take bias out of the equasion, and trying to convince someone that their favourite isn't the strongers or would lose etc can be quite the up hill battle. I find a lot of the time people will pick and choose feats or facts. For a hypothetical example, bringing up a particular atomic breath feat the MV Godzilla may have based on some obscure data page, and using that in your argument when comparing it to the on screen only feats of the Heisei Godzilla, actively ignoring the same data present in an official compendium or something that actively disrupts and dsiproves your bias. Again it's not Just Godzilla and its fandom that does this, DBZ, Transformers, etc they all have this issue. It's human nature to pick a favorite and defend it.
Anyway great video man, you bring up some crazy stuff here, I hope it's enough for people to stop the Heisei hate train we seem to be in for some reason.
Well people will generally not like certain stuff, especially things most people consider to be good. This is one of the reasons why I think the heisei godzilla series is looked down upon by a small group of people. Especially since most of those same people like a certain series of 3 films, not having to do with Godzilla.
Usually these people think that they are right and there is no in between. Where I personally don't mind people thinking differently on this topic. As seen in my could legendary godzilla survive the showa era, I have legendary godzilla winning for the most part.
But legendary godzilla is far from my favorite godzilla, as I grew up mostly with the showa godzilla films and the last two heisei godzilla films.
I would say for this vid I could have used a ton of things even from the films themselves that make Heisei Godzilla crazy powerful, such as him being able to handle his own power 10,000 times more powerful, or him being able to instantly survive his brain exploding.
But as all things are, it's a balance. Hearing other's thoughts on films and not instantly being defensive or combative is the best way to have growth.

@@GSTE_ I believe another reason Heisei is now slammed is because of the time. Showa is remembered for being the old campy Godzilla, Millennium was the more modern take on the character and Reiwa stuff is all new and shiny so there's a bit of recency bias there. Heisei is just kinda there, the 90's Godzilla, so I think the Heisei series as a whole is overlooked by the newer fans. It doesn't help that the effects are dated, so it might not look like Godzilla is punching with a certain force or moving and a certain speed, but if the canon media states as much then we have to take it as so despite it not looking that way compared to let's say MV. Regardless I 100% agree, at the end of the day we are all on the same side of loving Godzilla as a whole anyway. We need to hear each other's thoughts and opinions without getting defensive.

If anything I think the Millenium Godzilla special effects, especially the early ones have aged a lot worse.
But you don't hear a ton of criticism from the millenium godzilla fans.
Some of it is from the showa godzilla fans, who basically think Godzilla vs Megalon is better than films like Godzilla vs SpaceGodzilla. When even speaking objectively that is not true, despite both films being rushed, vs SpaceGodzilla has a far greater quality in special effects.
And this goes for most of the showa godzilla films, most of them aren't even the same quality standards as the 50s and very early 60s monster films like Gojira, Rodan, and Mothra. King Kong vs Godzilla was the start of this low quality trend, and ghidorah the three headed monster and mothra vs godzilla continued the pattern to an even worse extent.
These films get excused completely because of the silliness. And anyone who criticizes the films only like serious godzilla films and don't understand these films.
I personally think silliness can be done very well, Godzilla final wars is a great example of that, as well as films like Ebirah the sea monster and son of godzilla being overall good films including the monster fights, where films like Ghidorah the three headed monster are terrible. With Mothra vs Godzilla being terrible as well if you take away the human characters.
I do think the heisei godzilla films had their problems, such as Godzilla vs SpaceGodzilla having a poorly written story, and Godzilla vs King ghidorah having a terrible story, but overall the films in both human story and monster scenes have aged the best out of godzilla franchise.
This can be seen when people who don't even know much about Godzilla but recognize Heisei Godzilla.
And the fights are probably the most explosive out of the suitmation godzilla films.
So I do disagree with the thing that the fights have aged badly, of course they weren't trying to have the monsters literally go as fast as humans like the new movie is trying to do.
But they made the fights still have a lot of impact in both physical combat and lasers.

I didn't mean for it to come accross as me saying as such, rather I was trying to imply that for the newer fans (Those who were introduced to the series thanks to the Monsterverse and make up the mijority of the youtube audience now) the Heisei series isn't as visually impactful as the refined effects (camera angles, edits etc etc) found in the Millenium era, or the eye candy in your face CGI of the Monsterverse. All eras have their own style. To me it just seems like A LOT of the newer fans who think MV Godzilla is top dog were introduced to the series through the monsterverse and potentially the over abundance of 'Godzilla vs Megalon' thanks to memes, re-runs and parents showing these new fans 'their Godzilla'
Again its where the bias comes back in, as im sure most of these new fans that glaze MV Goji ( I don't hate MV Goji, he's just over hyped imo) had a similar story to this. Watched a MV film when they were young (probably 2014) and wanted to dive deeper. Godzilla vs Megalon was and still is super easy to find in physical media and online thanks to the early distribution fiasco back in the late 70's - 90's, plus it happens to be a lot of the parents generation (Gen x?) first/favorite or only known Godzilla film and it is quite popular thanks to the memes. From here the rest is history, watch more, become a fan, buy merch etc but the bias for the MV and late showa series has been established.

I would say the new fans brought in by the reiwa godzilla films have been more impactful against the heisei godzilla films.
Due to these people liking the anime godzilla films, the showa godzilla films, and the heisei gamera films.
They don't like how popular heisei godzilla is and they try and put the films down in every way possible.
To be honest I don't really mind the monsterverse fans, most of them are kids, and the rest are people who like monsters fighting.
But the "heisei gamera fans" can articulate their words incredibly well, by twisting the facts they make it very hard to respond with good points.
I used to talk a lot with people about films and powerscaling about 2 or 3 years ago, and I can say without a doubt that the heisei gamera fans are the hardest to talk to.
Also because they are incredibly combative, and think your objectively wrong if you disagree with them.
For a perfect example of this go to my "The Special Effects of the Heisei Godzilla films" and go to the comment all the way at the bottom. It's the one with 50 replies. Read them and you'll see what I mean.
well, to kill shin you need to obliterate every part of its body or it will just regenerate and keep doing so until heisei is out of energy, yet shin can only use so much energy before taking a few weeks to recharge and enter combat again, but with the military fighting both of them i want to say it would be an endless fight (MAYBE) if not then it would be a shin loose if the military worked with heisei and targeted shin THEN went for heisei, basically going 1 at a time

Also Godzilla earth is very slow, being around 40 kmph, where Heisei Godzilla can go about 340 kmph according to Godzilla vs King ghidorah 1991.

Size matters not. In the franchise Heisei is stronger. He could in fiction shoot a hole through earth godzilla, and kill him from the inside and absorb earths radiation. Since he could absorb space Godzillas radiation too. Both might seem like super versions of Heisei but heisei both gets stronger and can absorb radiation faster unless im mistaken. Unless earth or minus one can use antimatter on heisei.
