You finding him a hottie does not mean other people are attacking him or being "backhanded". Thats just you overthinking cause you're into his looks
Another tip for taking pictures: Take a short video, about 40 seconds, of you slightly adjusting your pose. Then go back and get still shots. That way you don't have to run back and forth while wondering if the timer will work right.
