  • Опубліковано 18 лип 2009
  • In the aftermath of Saturday Nights Main Event the Mega Powers were formed. Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage set aside their differences and became one of the most powerful, and exciting tag-teams. From the days when wrestling was not so much of a fiasco and had more substance. Also included the world premier of KoKo B Ware's Music Video "Piledriver"

This was one of the GREATEST PROMOS of ALL TIME!!!!!! I get chills watching this. It makes me laugh so hard! The twirling, the tongue, the MADNESS! Hulk at about :25: "I'm kinda worried about walkin' up here!" Macho at about 1:20 forgets their team name: "The Mega yeah, the Mega yeah, the Mega Powers Yeah!" Then a twirl once he remembered! Hilarious! LOL! Thanks for posting this amazing promo!

No he didn't forget, this was the first time they were called the MegaPowers and he was pretending like he was making it up on the fly.

I wish the promos were still as entertaining as this!!! They haven't been entertaining since The Rock's heyday.

NOT PILEDRIVER!!!! If this wasn't the Rock-n-Wrestling connection, personified, I don't know what was!!!
Of course, Koko was the only one who could actually sing. So, he had to do the title track. Keep in mind, this is why Koko is in the WWE Hall of Fame.

Back when wrestlers overacted even more. I mean these guys back in the 80's make the WWE superstars of today seem like there on there way to dinner at the white house. And I loved it! You couldn't get away with dressing how they used to dress, today. There's no way. What we would call gay today, was stanard attire for these dudes. I really miss those days alot.

Not a single sweat on Savage or Hogan. Not much information given about the incident in the ring. I am guessing the interview was done before the match huh?7-20-17

look how tough and important the titles made u look back then to close the show they have the tag champs and ic champ beat down the world champ now titles seem pointless

Man they really overacted back then...say whatever about the likes of Cena, Orton, Batista...but they're way better actors than Hogan and Savage were 25-30 years ago. Guys like Daniel Bryan or CM Punk are much more natural, sometimes it feels like they're just being themselves, even Dolph Ziggler and The Miz are believable.
