I am so happy I stumbled across your channel! I have been wanting to be a teacher all my life and i’ve been working towards it (: I was in the early childhood program in high-school and I adored it. I am currently in college working towards an elementary education degree. I currently work as a teacher in a preschool. I can’t wait to see how this year unfolds for you! I’m getting ready to start the teaching program in the fall after 10 years of going to school part time! It has been such a journey but I’m super excited to finally start with education classes! I always get sucked into the fancy planners too 🙈 I love Lilly Pulitzer planners at the moment. They have several size options and they are simple, adorable, and really durable!
You could try bullet journaling, youre already like half way there !! Looks really good!!
Oh my gosh I had an Erin Condren and bought so many stickers and junk from Etsy and wasted so so much money. And honestly it was a lot of work to keep it up. I prefer my digital one on my iPad. I love your planner!

You did such an awesome job with your planner! I'm a Happy Planner girl....but you are right about all that you said regarding use of time, funds, etc. As a first year teacher you need to prioritize! I'm a new subscriber....and I'm enjoying watching you start your journey. I'm entering my 30th year teaching (mostly first grade) and I love it. I love setting up my room, and my planner (🌸) and most of all meeting my new students in just a few weeks. Best wishes to you...and I will keep watching!

I agree 100% with you on the planner bandwagon! I used to get an Erin Condren planner every year and then would end up switching it out for something else. Last year I made my own disc bound planner and I printed as I needed it. This year I got a happy planner when it was 50% off and 20% teacher discount. Like the binder I love how i can add and remove what I want. Love the look of your planner and something I appriciate them most... your plans are vertical! The one thing I hate about most planners is the horizontal layout.

Katie Schneider I am also a student and I was thinking about purchasing her planner, and just waiting to use the “teacher” pages for when I am teaching. For example I will label the five rows of “lesson planning” weekly spreads as my four classes and then a housework/extra “to dos”/meal planning!

Unfortuneately, I don't think I will be able to go through all the pages and remove the weekly lessons at the moment :( It is really geared toward teachers (with all of the add-ons) I just want to be truthful! I do appreciate your support! I wish there were twice as many hours in the day!

You should look into Bullet Planning you can use a bound book or the Tul system .
That's too much work for me! Love the idea though :)

Have you tried bullet journaling? I know when I use planners I only use the monthly layout and I can have all my to do lists and notes in it.

I loooove this planner so much! It’s so beautiful. Do you think there is a way to be able to maybe shrink it a little bit to fit in a smaller binder or not? Either way I can’t wait to adapt this into a personal planner! :)

It wasn't designed for it - if you plan on writing over the pages with a pen, maybe?? I'm not really sure!
