Learn basic terminology by walking through examples that include driving a car manually and using cruise control.
The examples explore how driving a car manually or using cruise control forms a feedback control system.
The video provides insights into the components and terminology in control systems, such as plants, actuators, sensors, and the desired output. You will learn about disturbance signals, which act on the plant and cause undesired effects on the output. You’ll also learn about noise, which is an unwanted signal that can enter the system through measurement.

This is how humans are meant to be taught. Somewhere along the line education got skewed which is why we have such poor retention of the concepts in these engineering classes. Professors just want to cram formulas down your throat because they are on a tight time schedule, which leads to low quality lessons. What I love is that I haven't seen one equation in the past 3 videos and you have already instilled the intuition into me. Bravo, truly, and greetings from an Electrical Engineering student at UCSD.
You still need the math behind it though
Have a great effort ahead! Its being helpful to all engineers! Keep going on by doing more
Very easy to understand with concrete examples
These videos are FREAKING AWESOME!!!
Excellent!!! very easy to understand!
Excellent explanation.Easy to follow through
i'm in my fourth year of engineering and i'm only now understanding control systems thank u :')
It amazing I understand each and every thing!
Killing explanation, keep doing this great work...
I'm waiting for part 4!
very very good explanation
You are the best
This is amazing thank you so much...
I wish my professor had examples like this.
Perfect 👍👍👍🙏
thank u very much
In the case you re using cruise control, what would be the noise ?
Please describe why initial condition is zero when we took transfer function?
Do it for electronic ckt with examples like this
the volume in this video is really low
yep I thought I was the only one with that problem here
Hey there! I just want to point out that the required parameter for the cost calculation in this case for attending the party must be the dynamic distance i.e. the distance(function of time) instead of the velocity(which you have considered). Because imagine let the cat accelerated to required velocity in say like 10 sec and then maintained it constant till it reaches the party. So in here, the time taken doesnt match with the target time. Hope you find this comment😄😄😄
Pleas make subtitle versi indonesia🙂
woooooow
Fantastic video. Although, if the driver can't see the speedometer well he/she should definitely not be behind the wheel!
What laughable tomfoolery MATLAB!
This is clearly a trick proposal of a closed loop control system!
The driver never gets to enjoy the party or even arrive at the party. This is because they never once looked up from the speedometer.
R.I.P.
He never saw it coming.
You should not drive without glasses!!!
