The issue is that standard edition players don t have acces to arena and will be stuck on the kill quests forever if everyone stops doing them in main tarkov game
The kill quests are still doable as normally because the places are hotspots most of the time and even for those which arent they always were hard to do anyways. I understand your point but i strongly belive this is very good idea taeyeoff presented because if they wont do something arena will die all together
Cutting up the maps and making them asymmetrical game modes is a great idea. I've always struggled with Dorms pvp and being able to get better at it with Arena would be a good idea. It looks like they "tried" it with the Sawmill map but no one ever picked that map.
Nikita should have to grind his way to kappa on a Z2H standard account. I swear the only time someone plays the game from their studio is when they do those live streams.
I'm pretty sure Nikita made the unheard edition because he's tired of getting killed by AI (hence the mark of the unheard) and he got bored of leveling sniper skills (hence the 3 free soft skills levels)
I think they should give you a set amount of money to build your kit per tier, and the weapon, armor, med and ammo prices should be based around how much money you can spend on a kit per tier. Say for tier one you get 500k and you can talk to ref, to build a loadout under 500k and that would scale for each tier, that way you wouldn’t fight guys with the best armor and meta guns with the best ammo at tier 1.

Mate shoots 20 meter behind me in the different direction, but the sound & blur effect makes it look & sound like as if he's shooting directly over me? I can't hear his shots nor does he hear mine. Nades that don't have exploding sound effects. Those stuff are not "marginal" errors.

they don't want to save arena, arena is just a game made so they can do their tournaments. they even don't want more players to both games because it will burn the servers and they want to spent the money on ferraris not more servers. it has been clear for a while that bsg is satisfied with the state of the tarkov and the arena is just a tool so they can have fun with their friends
I really enjoyed using kits that I will probably never use in the main game, especially the low tiers. It reminds me early wipe fights that either ends up with a clean headshot or very messy. But using the same kit over and over again is eventually getting kinda repetitive. I would kind a pretty customable gear set system where I am able to build my own kit with trader and money limits. This probably will keep the game refreshing.
in my opinion with the quests they should take inspiration from call of duty, on call of duty to earn weekly rewards there are missions called "weekly", there are 8 missions that you can complete by MODE once you complete 6 of them I think you can access the reward, there can be two missions per mode also. They should do a similar thing on tarkov, for pve mission modes, normal tarkov and arena, if at that moment you want to play arena with your friends you can progress the quests by playing them while having fun, just change the mission request slightly. Normal Tarkov Mission: Kill 5 pmc in the dormitory area. tarkov arena: kill 15 pmc in the S&D costum map. tarkov pve: kill 15 entities in the dorms area. EVERYONE CAN PROGRESS WITH THEIR WAY OF PLAYING THE GAME AND HAVE FUN.
Arena should just add a old bo2 like loadout system where you have a max rouble and you can go all out with meta m4 but then you could only run like t4 armor. It would improve it a lot in my opinion.
I stand by if they did a Call of Duty Style progression system such as levels corelate to weapons/ammo unlocks then it would be more fun in my opinion. Even then with this style of unlocks you could then do what Call of Duty Black Ops 1 did where they have a wager mode which gives you money to unlock things. Then you have a progression for cash and progression for item unlocks too.

The unified character level pretty much ruins any integrity or balance in progression. Early wipe is no more, the best way to play after a wipe is playing arena until trader level 2 and skip immediately to mid game (or even end game if you level really fast in arena). Another side effect is the even bigger disparity between game versions because people that have arena will level up faster. Splitting the playerbase three ways (EFT, PvE, Arena) is really worrying to me and I'm not really optimistic on how it gonna affect the game
the main gamechanger for me will be adding custom loadouts and asymetric TD.. being able to make my kit should be there from day one, having some keys and lootspots as reward for grinding in arena is fine bmo
II'd be a lot more likely to buy arena if it wasn't an entire separate download and application. It feels so clunky being a separate thing instead of an option in the main menu.
I would like to see them Implement a point system for gear for a mode. Where equipment is restricted by a point system ,say no more than 200 for one tier 350 for the next etc. So sure somebody could bring in a PKM buts that's all they have.
Why would I keep playing this game when I can play much better coded games with better support. So glad my EoD money went to a show rather than trying to fix the game.
I agree with 90% of the ideas in this video except for the part regarding the questing or the 1/3 of the kills bit. Getting 50 kills in arena in a day is quite easy. In last man standing it’s not hard to get 20+ kills and even in team death match most of the team leaders are getting 15 kills ish. So when you consider that each game is 15 minutes ish getting even 100 kills in arena in a day isn’t insane
Your points here are great but I fear BSG's leadership doesn't really utilize logic when it comes to the decisions they make regarding their property. It seems like they have their own ideas on how the game should be played and now that it's starting to drastically effect their bottom line, they're doing whatever they can to keep their properties afloat by making even more ridiculously bad decisions.
Why don't they add a buy system like CSGO. When they all load in they have a 3 min to buy armor and kit weapons for we say 200 000 robles. They can buy or change guns and kits with the money they get for winning a round. The loosing team of course gets some cash to have a fighting chance against the enemy team. The buy system must be simplified to make it easy to buy and kit out weapons so time aint wasted. This makes it fair and I could se a ESports gaming in this system.

We have to accept the fact that BSG and Nikita don't care. Its time to move on, many games have died bcz of bad management, and at this point, tarkov will be one of them. Make a good use of your time and quit this game.
Many great ideas and not to diminish you, but I don't even think your ideas are THAT special. What I mean by that is that someone at BSG could've come up with something similar or even better, but I think the underlying issue is that they don't care. Honestly real. I always loot high value areas and key rooms in Arena Breakout Mobile and get genuinely pathetic returns. The Lockdown mode where the loot pool is boosted gives actually okay loot, but is dominated by players wearing tier 5-6 armor and expensive ammo with very little breathing room for tier 3-4 players

You lucked out with 32kills in 24 hours. I got "Get 32 headshots playing as marksman in 24 hrs and its locked to Bay, airpit, sawmill, and hangar.

They should add Shootout back to arena and allow you to bet on other teams, like on which team wins their fight.
Shootout was the best mode. Just not popular cuz some people were too impatient to wait 20 seconds for the other teams to kill each other.
