I periodically search for covers of my favorite XIV songs and just stumbled upon this today. Pernelle, this is delightful on every level. I particularly adore how you set it in the context of a band of Ancients, and added a 20's "cabaret lounge" vibe musically to go along with the Art Deco of Amaurot itself. The masquerade bird mask in place of an Amaurotine's was a very nice touch too; ties the whole theme together in a single prop. The whole project is just very inspired. The lyrics are very well-written, the performances are beautiful, and the video well-produced. Nothing but good things to say, ma'am. I hope this and your channel gets more recognition; this deserves it.

Oh, thank you very much! That's exactly the kind of contrasted feelings we wanted to give to this song. Different yet familiar. That's how I felt when I discovered Amaurot because of its ressemblance with Bioshock's Rapture (my fav game) but with a more pure and philosophical atmosphere.
