Id say , Chrono Trigger, FF3, Zombies ate my neighbors, actraiser 1 and super Mario 3 are all tied. For nes its FF1, every megaman but especially 2 and 3, Gyrus, dragon warrior 4, ninja gadien, edit: actually there are so many I can remember. Anyone every remember the band minibosses. FUck I loved them in early 2000s.Still do but don't really listen much anymore.
Not exactly… Counterpoint has independent melodies that weave into each other harmonically. Fugue is a great style that showcases the style of counterpoint with subjects and answers that weave together (A great example is music like No. 7 “And He Shall Purify…” by Händel and Keyboard Concerto No. 7 by Bach that I can think off the top of my head). Similar in some ways to call-and-response but more difficult to write and weave together. This song sounds more baroque because of tempo, use of a minor key, running bass lines, “baroque” cadences, sequences, and rotation around the circle of fifths, something very common in baroque music. That’s all I’ve got for now. Peace out ✌🏼
@@jeffreyherrera5069 Oh, I had no idea they did. THats awesome. Everytime I watch extra credits I get a little flash back memory of myself and my buddy playing act raiser. I hated act raiser 2 because it had no village building mdoe which was my favorite part of the game.
The overworld city-building map part of Actraiser was the best part about it.
This theme greatly contributed to that.
Anytime I'm building something in my garage..this song begins to play in my head.
I just made an orchestral version of this track.

Koshiro’s composition is incredible! That is why I love the original Falcom’s musics. So filled with mystique culture
speaking of Falcom, Quintet was founded by Tomoyoshi Miyazaki and Masaya Hashimoto, the original creators of their flagship series, Ys.
I just made an orchestral version of this track.
One of my favorite videogame songs ever composed. It’s such a simple yet beautiful melody that really feels like it was written centuries ago.

@@TheRealNSA i have awaited for this reply for a month.
I come from nostalgia as well as from a certain individual.
It was Walpole.
Also Terminal Montage.
Who else found this from terminal montage
even though this is an electronic piece of music, it does remind me of an Arcadian Age, a time when things were in balance and life is simple.
The official theme of earthquaking your new town so they'll build less crappy houses

Would this be an example of counterpoint composition?? Has that super baroque feel

Its funny how the youtube channel extra credits copied the intro to the song for their intro.
Thankfully, they do credit it in their credits list, unlike some creators I can mention.
