This knife is awesome. Full flat grind and razor sharp out of the box. I think I paid $32 on Amazon for mine. Replaced the nylon strap with a rotating belt clip and tacked on a fire steel sheath. It has a 90 degree spine which gives you the option to send sparks (though I prefer an accessory scraper). Recently quartered and butchered a white tail deer with this knife. It outperformed my expectation. No pain from the handle at all. Cut through all the tissue and ligaments like butter (no problem cut into the hip socket to release the ligament). Why bother with a more expensive knife? Since buying this knife I sold off my BK16 on ebay.
@@VillainousJake Of course I cannot be 100% certain but I specifically asked the rep where these were made and his response was 100% made in Germany. I can only go by what I'm told.

GideonsTactical said something in his review of this knife (very positive) that makes sense though. He said that if it was made in Germany they'd be shouting it for all to hear. That said, if it's a good knife, its a good knife regardless of its origin. Jut be nice to see some transparency about it on their end. You shouldn't have to ask the rep lol.

i always thought Odenwolf was made in China. How are they able to price them so low if they're made in Germany?
