I’m ashamed about all of our encroachments upon other cultures!!! My ❤ to yours! You do not go unnoticed!!!!
The land should be returned.
I'm curious as to how that would be achieved and what would be the long term result
Returned to whom, the cave men. No one knows who had any land first.
It’s time for everyone to just get along.

@@thecaski8239 I think there are matters of degree... the reason Alsace-Lorraine is contentious is because about half of the population there is French in about half the population there is German. This has been the source of international tension since the death of Charlemagne. However, with indigenous peoples in the Americas, this isn't a conflict between rival national claims. This is a conflict about one group of people, committing mass, theft and genocide against another, and subsuming their land into a growing empire. And this also took largely took place in the past 200 years instead of 1200 years. The real barrier is the demographic issue. Natives well not completely wiped out or a small minority in the United States amounting to less than a percent of the total population. Now I do think, rather than giving the whole land back to indigenous people who could not populate it, and rendering the rest of Americans refugees to go back to an already over populated, Europe and Asia and Africa, I would argue that we should simply honor the treaties. We made with the natives and walk back restrictions on native rights and allow greater autonomy to indigenous nations, particularly with regard to extraction of natural resources and pipelines.
@@KohanKilletz Quick question… why do natives *deserve* the land? If I took a stick from you, turned it into a spear, and got food for you and I, in my opinion, I *deserve* to keep that spear. I had worked for the right to own that spear and you just found a stick. The natives of north America were constantly in wars with each other over the land. We just had better technology and we took it for ourselves and introduced modern infrastructure to the natives. We took the “stick” made it into a “spear” and got “food” for us all.
This is a lesson learned. Take care of yourself first. Stop living fairytale one love.
My Great Grandfather Herbert Mills of 369th Colored Regiment Harlem Helllfighters entire lineage is from there.
I know Lance Gumbs pretty good, he talked to my dad about them getting federally recognized. Glad they finally did it Chenae Bullock another one that's from there that's smart.
Gaven them and inch and they took miles, threatened to unalive you if you didn’t pray to Jesus and give up your Indian ways.

💎Omg! I think this is My Cousin Lance Gumbs!
Maybe they shoulda fought a bit harder 🤷♂️ it’s a terrible thing and I sympathize but… every piece of land on this earth has been conquered over and over again. There’s always someone new and stronger that comes along and takes it… if you are not strong and advanced enough, you will lose it.
That’s they want you to think. Yea tribes fought, but no one owned the entire land mass, so there was no genocide, just prisoners of war who worked for freedom in the winners tribe. The whole damn globe is basically colonized by one continent to keep it simple, nothing balanced about it.
Hmmm I wonder if the state of our nation at this very moment is actually reaping what it sowed…one thing about them tables is that they turn.
