Excellent vine and useful tips, your plant looks so elegant and displays such a colour and long attractive flower racemes, I think that your variety is called Thunbergia Coccinea because of her unique clour, there is another one with yellows and reds with larger flower blossoms. I have three of them in my garden pergola in South America, Thumbergia Mysorensis is still considered a rare plant in the world. I am probably one of the few that cultivates this plant. It is nearly impossible to buy one. Mine are on their second year, they are very young plants; howeer they already flowered small flowers here and there, I wonder how long do Ihave to wait for them to give good blooms? I am looking forward to it, as per your description I may have to raise the height of the pergola, by the way I also have the blue one, they are fantastic plants and bloom 365 days a year mon stop. You can't ask for more.
You are correct. If your vines are on the ground, you may expect good blooming next year. I`ve never seen blue one. You are lucky to have it. Thanks for watching.

Beautiful video but a small correction. This is called scarlet clock vine or thunbergia coccinea. Thunbergia mysorensis is yellow and brown in color. 😊

It does not grow tendrils. it climbs itself if it gets any support. Grow year long and shed mature leaves.
